Martin, honestly I'm speechless every time you make a video. Your models are so extremely awe-inspiring, I almost can't handle it haha. Top job my friend! 👍
That decal trick is ingenious! Looking forward to the rest of this series. I'm also working on a big German cat (Tamiya 1/35 King Tiger Ardennes Front), really a pleasure to build. I would love to see you tackle a King Tiger, Martin!
Martin Kovac, I'm no expert, you did well, but you should dull down the decals, as they are too bright, they should match the dullness of the camo, so that they dont look 'freshly' painted on. I usually use a coat of clear with a drop of the base colour and spray it over the decals to 'blend' them into the base colour, this creates a 'used' look and enhances the weathering. Thanks for your videos, I have watched them all. PetervanHorne.
Very nice work on the camouflage! I used the AK RC paints recently and I too found the redbrown to be a little dark. I think I'll go back and lighten it up with a little marbling.
But that is what the actual RAL 8017 was supposed to look like. Just like their RAL 7021 is the correct dark gray, and not that lighter gray or blue-gray people use.
@@Panzermeister36 That's the scariest moment ever. You finish painting a model with matte colors and it looks pretty okay, so you go ahead and put gloss or satin over it and it suddenly becomes a lump of coal :D
Marty, you never cease to amaze me. You're actually one of the reasons i returned to my childhood hobby! I stopped building when I was about 13-14 (around 81) and I picked it up again at the beginning of 2020. I love your sense of humor dude. :-)
Please don't take this the wrong way, but your 39 year gap, makes me feel much better about the stash I've accumulated over the past year. Seriously you know your down bad when an Airfix Vulcan is appearing in your dreams and asking 'what? You think you're better than me?!'
@@TBone-bz9mp I'm on a 2-year gap now and counting. There's just not enough space here in the condo, but my wife is very supportive and she supports my accumulating stash until we move into a bigger house. She's even bought me a couple kits already.
I'm really, genuinely loving this build. And I'm super excited for a more chill diorama involving the Jagdpather, that shows the quiter side to the war. Always good to have humanity in artwork.
I dig it. I like the quick post shade and came application. I really like the damaged ZIMMERIT. I'm starting a Tiger I with damaged ZIMMERIT with transport tracks on a flatbed rail car. Your video's are great motivation. Keep it up!
I literally started modelling because of uncle night shift, and this model paint job is seriously the best camo tone Martin has done. Well done, keep going!
Thank you for honoring this beautiful cat with an amazing paint job, this looks absolutely stunning even before weathering and all the other good stuff that is going to happen. And I agree, the dark yellow alone (without the green and brown) already looked awesome!
Hello uncle! I’m always amazed on how courageous you are by wash soaking your builded model directly under tap water!! And intrigued by all your different approaches, mixed techniques, order of execution and mixing different brands of products. I ❤️ your videos 😍. Cheers mate!
After trying my hand at airbrushing post shading for the first time I'm amazed at your control. getting so close and spraying such a fine line without flooding the surface!
Because of you Martin when I bought the Tamiya Jagdpanther "Late" I also bought the complete eduard PE kits (4 sheets) loads of it....thanks m8 my works cut out now lol...just kidding, you inspired me to detail it more, redo welds etc and thanks to you my weld effect skills are muuuuch better..also make tarps using your method, but use greenstuff 2 part epoxy putty as cant get tamiya one in UK....thankyou
Awesome job. Very realistic job. The Very few color pictures I've seen you nailed it 👌. Thanks much for sharing and wait to see the weathering and stowage. I'm sure you'll do a fantastic job on the figures.
Fantastic result Uncle! You keep raising the bar for all of us who love to build models. Looking forward to the next episode in this series. Cheers from Australia!

Dude! I like it without even the weathering effects! My best model looks like this for good or not! Don't loose motivation and stay safe! Also hope your leg will be good soon! Greetings to you from Bulgaria!
Thanks Uncle Night Shift! I just received my first tank today (Tiger, of course) and I’m going to be following your videos to get it done. Got myself some badass Vallejo paints and Rust & Chipping Effects, Army Painter Metallics & Washes, AK Interactive Mud & Snow & Grime Kits…. Let’s see what happens! Thanks again
Wow, I felt like the Jagdtiger was made a month ago, time flies by real fast. This is honestly amazing! Especially when the JagdPanther was one of my favorite tanks!
I really love your videos, because they motivate me to build more models or to keep building my scenery, even tho i just paint with brushes and cheap acrylicpaint. Thank you very much for uploading.
Martin, next model try using a heavy epoxy putty instead of supper glue on your tie down nut. ruff up the plastic to give the putty a better mechanical bond to the plastic. encapsulate the nut in putty with the pessary hole in the top. enjoy your videos! that painting stand is a must have.
German life colour field grey is brilliant for post fading any green with ak worn effects then going back over it with the lighter field grey just clouding it in over the worn effects but you still see it under it! Hard to explain its a new thing I've been Using and the outcome is stunning! I'm playing with these new AMMO shaders and new acrylic filters just now too I like it it's very similar to the amusing hobby krupp panzer 4 slopped armour kit I done love that post shading 3 tone camo you've done a great job!
Fantastic work as usual! It's funny, what you call airbrush pin wash is what us aircraft builders call pre-shading. Always enjoy taking time and watching your work and creations.
Nice work. I often slit decals. I have a medical scalpel that I use. It has a forward tilting blade that makes the point very precise. I am going to have to try some of those AK paints. But, I really enjoy mixing Tamiya paints. There are some recipes on the net to mix just about any WWII color of any country you want. It will be nice to see your weathering, next week.
Thanks a lot for your videos, i enjoy the way they calm me down before i go to sleep, hope you have a wonderful time making the models and videos for your viewers :)
What is not to like, top quality paint work my friend. Something I’m going to try to replicate on my next build.
