10 years ago, the greatest freakout ever was uploaded to RUclips. The video featured at the time 15 year old Stephen Quire aka Wafflepwn aka the WoW freakout kid, screeching and flailing around in his room because his mom cancelled his World of Warcraft subscription. Stephen’s younger brother brother, Jack, uploaded this freakout to RUclips and the video would go viral. It was a completely organic reaction caught on camera...or was it? Today I take a look back at the greatest freakout ever video and will determine if these videos are staged once and for all.

I’ve noticed a lot of people in the comments claiming that when Stephen Quire was on Tosh.0, Stephen himself admitted that the freakout video was fake. If you actually go back and watch the Tosh episode, you will find that Stephen never admits that the videos were fake
The freakouts were fake, but the remote was real

My favorite part is still when he enters the closet for like .5 seconds and then just leaves. Apparently Narnia didn't want his ass either.
"STOP frickin betraying me, I'M on your TEAM!" That brought back so many memories me and my friends always use to quote that. And "Stop calling me Squirrel boy!"
I thought the first one was a real freakout, he saw the numbers and the fame, and just decided to continue the schtick.
Wafflepwn wins the award for "Most 2008 Channel Name on RUclips"
I completely erased all traces of "pwned" from my head until I watched this.
I personally think the first original freak out video was legit and not staged, but after the immense popularity it garnered, the family decided to intentionally reproduce similar content.
That interview with the mum sounds so wholesome. Their family sounds like it's quite nice.
My favorite part was when he wrestled that blanket and then the blanket consumed his clothes😂
I love how this dude went fully clothed into the blankets and came out in boxers afterwards.
Some people may be disappointed, but after hearing that mom talk on the phone, I'm just amazed at how chill their family is.
The biggest take away here is that this many people thought they were real. I thought it was a obvious fake video when I was a teenager. I thought everyone understood they were just skits. Guess I was wrong XD

Stephen is an amazing physical actor. It’s actually really impressive.
After watching their recent streams, and the way Stephen acts I truely believe some of them are real. At first I was definitely convinced they were fake but just watching the way Stephen acts on stream is almost in the same context as his freak out videos.
