  • I made this thing years ago and gave it to a mechanic. It's come back broken. He say's it was great and worked really well. So, I rewired it, made a box for it out of ply and recommissioned it!

    Great stuff, Antony. In case you have a welder handy, you can use it to sort out your dud 12v batteries. You will find videos on this method on YT and, unlike the other methods, this really does work and can be performed over and over. Stay safe, mate.

      Hello! Is it the forced current method? I've done that myself. They're interesting things these lead acid batteries...

      @@AntonyCartwright Yes, it is just topping it up and then gradually increasing the current from 50 amps up to 150 amps until it is freely bubbling up in all the cells.

      It lacks the necessary precision for clipping nails. More of a finger clipping fan. 🤣
