Pues sí que había un catalán medieval, muy hermosos como el ladino, en el que está cantado esta cacnión. El ladino es el español antiguo que se llevaron los judíos expulsados de la Península en 1492. La señora Goldman tiene una voz hermosísima y una dicción muy buena.Si hablamos de genética, existe un 90% de catalanes que genéticamente desciende de una u otra forma de judíos españoles conversos que se quedaron en Cataluña luego de la Reconquista.
No está cantada en catalán medieval, sino en castellano medieval. No hay canciones sefardíes cantadas en catalán, no se han preservado, si es que las hubo.

@paolomarinemelilla Es una lástima que en lugar de apreciar el valor que tiene escuchar a los descendientes de los judios españoles (que haberlos los había en Catalunya y en el restode España.. ) y que han conservado estas canciones mas de 500 años se preste atención a polémicas regionales. No, he wasn't jew, sure not. But he gave birth to what it was to come Yisrael and the Savior from the Judah tribe. And Abraham was hebrew, he used to talk a language similar to arabic, but he was called hebrew which means "the one who cross" (to know the truth).
