I saw on my local fair company's website (Paul Maurer Shows) showing that they got a new Freak Out in 2020 and I was excited to get on it sometime during the year only to see that all getting crused by the pandemic. I hope the fairs here in California will be held this year seeing how the parks in my state have reopened finally. I have never ridden or seen a KMG Freak Out in person before and I really am looking forward to ride it.
I reckon that Barney plush was tied to the hydraulic ram so when the columns and arms are folded down they didn’t scratch the paint work as we did the same with some foam pads on our Freak Out the travels the UK but just an idea of what poor Barney was used for😆 when packed away these machines really are compact and there’s barely any space between the arms and hydraulics so the paint often gets scratched and knocked about over time..
If it's got airtime and positive Gs. I will love it, I am not a huge fan of fast spinning as it makes my stomach kinda sick but experiencing actually forces like the laterals on the spinning if it has that is what I want. Looks great.

Never been on this ride but my stepsister and I are going to the fair next month when it comes to our city and I think she's gonna try dragging me on this ride (yes I do want to try it and I honestly do hope she manages to convince me to ride it as it looks so much fun). I'll be screaming like a little girl if I do go on it. How tall are you if you don't mind me asking? I'm 6'2 and I was on the HeadRush 360 at Old Town Kissimmee Florida back in February and the harnesses on that ride we're also over the shoulder harnesses and I had no space in between the harness and my shoulders. Does someone my height have room in between the harness and shoulders on this ride?
@CanobieCoaster The fair that comes to my city still has this ride. I really hope I have the guys to ride it this year. As scary as it looks, it looks so much fun. I did a similar ride called the HeadRush 360. Only difference is the ride isn't as tall as this one is and it goes upside down and I loved that ride so I can't really see why I wouldn't like this ride. I strongly believe that if I do build up the courage to ride this that it'll become my favourite ride at the fair.
Hey. I'm going on this tomorrow and I would like to know what to expect for a first time. Is it really scary? I have been on the spin out which wasn't too bad. Is it a scariest ride candidate in most fairs?
I've only been on a KMG Vortex, but it doesn't do much for me. Just don't think pendulum rides are my thing, although I'd love to experience a giga discovery one day.

Freak out has a tendency to sway at the top as it's supposed to you can see with the bottom camera and I first found out by looking at the top and now here now you can tell this FACT to other people before the ride starts so they get scared also ya

I haven’t been on a Freak Out but I went on a KMG Afterburner (Eagle’s Claw at Lightwater Valley) and it was fantastic, very intense.

Massachusetts has started having fairs if that's any indication and we kept our parks closed longer.

Fiesta replaced this ride with a similar ride named Warrior.
