I honestly wouldn't mind having slower rides that trick you into assuming high speed like this - the ability to make smaller coasters feel similar to their super-sized counterparts seems like the future
In the end they aren't tricking you into anything, they just adjust the elements so that the pacing can be good and the forces can work well. I'm definitely all for it, rides like these allow small parks to build high class attractions with way less resources.
Imagine having it installed in a US park and you would have many more channels raving about it. Great theming, the pure coaster itself looks nice too. Especially the double top hat is beautiful and the cars are cute. Pacing seems impeccable. It was not intended to be a super thrill ride that leaves you breathless, yet has enough forces to be fun for experienced riders.
i love how this is essentially a mini-blitz. this really seems like an amazing option for parks that don't have the space or the money for a full-sized blitz coaster but want an attraction that offers similar forces and a similar overall feel
This is my introduction to this coaster, I didn’t even know this was being built! It looks incredible and that last inversion looks comparable to the Mosasaurus roll which is my favorite element of all time so this is quickly rising up my bucket list
@crashcoaster3852 yeah but it's a small scale coaster and is generally credited for ending the coaster war cuz Intamin came up with this relatively small coaster that shocked everyone
based on how awesome this looks, and how many elements packed in, i was shocked by the tiny track length. this looks like a really excellent model for parks that don't have a huge amount of space. looks great. once again, though, excellent video, dude. you just keep getting better and better. you've definitely become one of the top tier coaster youtubers, up there with eltororyan and coaster studios. when i see you in my feed it's an instant watch.
So many 2024 rides have had trouble this year. Who knew the second-of-its-kind Intamin would turn out to be the reliable one? Mahuka is the sleeper hit of the year for sure.
I have heard rumors that Busch Gardens might be getting a single rail coaster to replace scorpion. Now that I know this exists I'd much rather this style over the raptor.
I still think it is a b@m cause of the 2 family coasters all of SeaWorld Orlando but ice breaker and most of bgt. I feel like a b@m hyper or giga cause b@m does deals like intamin
Considering Canobie Lake Parks legal issue with building tall coasters, this feels like the perfect ride model for them if they ever decide to come to their senses 🥺👉👈
Canobie would be an excellent fit. Based on the NebulaZ they just opened, I assume they have cancelled the rapids idea altogether rather than putting it on hold, so I would wrap one around Untamed in the area they’d have used for the rapids. Canobie Corkscrew would be an obvious place for it but I also feel like that area will become waterpark expansion, so who knows. I would love to see these appear in the US, but I have a hard time pinpointing parks that could handle both the cost and the capacity.
Having been among the first enthusiasts to experience Big Dipper, I think this would be a massive improvement. While Big Dipper was shaky and rather forceless, this looks like an exciting coaster that looks like it could challenge most Intamin Blitz coasters!
this is such a great step for rhone-alpes, the park has always been a step behind the other Walibi parks but this definitely helps bring them a bit closer. I still need to see one or two more quality thrill rides before it's worth a stop for me, but the direction they're moving is extremely promising
this ride was so fun. it felt like its big brothers but on a way smaller scale. the speed you feel in the front combined with the fast paced layout and the open trains doesnt feel like a certain mph oder kph, it just feels *fast* and i liked it alot. wonderful fit for smaller parks
The trains look more comfortable than the RMC versions which straddle a hump in the middle. The two-element arch is fantastic and shows how this can take rides in new directions in terms of budget uniqueness/theming. They need to reduce those vibrations further though, you can see it in the back rows.
I rode this a few weeks ago 10 times because it was a walk on. We RAN to it at the beginning of the day and it had maybe 50 other people there. We were on the first ride. But the park's 2 other "main" coasters had nearly an hour wait each. We had to do single rider and then wait 30 minutes for the wild mouse that my husband nearly got stuck in. Anyways, I don't know how it was a walk on all day on a Saturday in August, but it was and we had a great time! We rode front and back so many times. The front was amazing even though I usually prefer back. It does have a rattle though :(
How do the trains compare to the Raptor trains? I've done the 2 Wonder Woman-themed ones and I just could never get my legs in a comfortable position. Couple that with the extreme forces the RMC rides pull, I'd be fine if another Raptor wasn't sold until the trains were completely redesigned.
Have you ridden any of the newer generation Intamin thrill coasters? The seats feel similar to rides like Pantheon or Velocicoaster (just with a floor). These seats are far superior to any from RMC.
The way that I was so happy when Luna Park got big dipper. A single rail coaster, something completely different to anything us locals would have experienced. So exited to ride it, then it turns out kinda shit and shaky. Then a country that I probably may never visit gets this masterpiece of a single rail. This better not happen to us if B&M or RMC ever come to Australia....
@@CanobieCoaster could it be because the track/trains are much lighter than other coasters they don’t need as much support in the ground? Not an engineer though so that’s just my best guess
@@CanobieCoaster that’s the main part for Velocicoasters signature element though I’d say. The ejector straight towards the water. Also VC has a speed hill directly beforehand too.
Never ridden on a single rail coaster yet, but seeing this video - I'm convinced there is no other single rail as interesting, unique, well designed and one of a kind anywhere else in the world. It certainly seems the best single rail coaster to me. I'd love it to be my first ride, but sadly, I don't live in France.

This coaster proves height and speed means nothing.
Also I think it's cool that the brake run is basically a reverse tire launch.

Pretty sure Maverick proved that 20 years ago

Only 42 miles an hour cannot be right, this thing hauls and that pacing is insane
I hope US parks build these
I had to double check that figure, but that's what the park lists.
Fun fact : Mahuka is the only coaster under 20 meters on the Captain Coaster top 100 coasters ranking
I can believe it.
