Caution. The measurements for the sensor positioning should only be considered approximate. Drill in the wrong place and you will hit a steel member. In practice, you will need to get under the van and drill pilot holes in the centre of the four existing holes in the steelwork ie drill outwards in the bumper. Then drill with the hole saw inwards. Be very careful to get the centres right. (I needed to file the steel as I was a little out in one of the holes). I am still trying to figure out how to take the cables up from the bumper area - I do not have the availability of an existing hole.

So if you’re not a fan of scotch locks cut the wire, but but connector in, put the wire from the light into one side of the boat connector, then stick to wires together in to the other side of the boat connector and make a proper connection prior put a piece of heat, shrink tubing over the long piece of wire slide it over the back connector and heat shrink the connection. It’s not a big deal. It’s not brain Surgery

Using Scotchlock connectors is the mark of a bad installation, far better to solder and heat shrink over the join.
