    The Agdestein v. Zhigalko game was fascinating. Really seemed like black had a handle on things till it all fell apart at the end.

    If I want to learn themes, typical plans, piece placement through a model game which a game should i study miniature(15-20 moves) or full length (20 & above).

      Because he was playing with "odds" -> since he is recognised as much stronger and thus the match is not to find out who is stronger, morphy starts with disavantage/less material.

      There should be a pattern i guess, i am not good enough to find it. But even if isnt it wont matter much if you are down a queen in that position

      Yeah for some reason Sammy overlooked that move but after the bishop takes any of the pawns with a discovered check there's mate anyway on the next move with Qb6#
