Affinity Designer - Vector Drawing iPad Pro

The Affinity Designer is just amazing with the iPad Pro and the Apple Pencil.. The sculpting function on the Pencil tool work so great!

Just the video I was looking for. Relatively new to vectoring, I've been trying to do intricate Pen tool vectors with a mouse and getting so frustrated. I'm much more accustomed to drawing pixel based art with an iPad and Pencil. It makes much more sense for me to do it like this. Thanks for showing the way.

Thanks a lot for watching! :-) Yea, it used to be the same for me, but Affinity Designer changed all that for me.. so much more effective to do it this way on the iPad :-) Still try to have as little nodes as possible.. even the pen often makes more nodes than you need, and always good to clean up some after. :-) Glad you liked it!

This is exactly what i was searching for - to figure out whether this app can make this kind of result. I'm making super similar victorian frame illustrations and had a lot of trouble doing this in Illustrator on desktop. Thanks for the video 😊😊

Sorry for very late reply.. It´s just a basic round brush and you just have to adjust thickness at beginnings and ends.. no special trick to this one :-)
