  • In this video I join my good friend, subscriber and fellow youtuber ‪@Hardlinesangling‬ Toby and his dad Alan for a day of fishing on TWO rivers as their guest. The best salmon pools are on the last quarter miles of the rivers Farrar and Glass, up to and including the junction where they meet and become the river Beauly. Fishing for salmon is by fly only and the salmon run from July through to the end of the season on 15th October.
Hi, my name is Chris and my channel is called Cornish Chris the Fish. I am a Cornishman venturing out beyond the Duchy (of Cornwall) to experience life on the road full time touring in my Caravan Dalleth Arta, fly fishing for Salmon and vlogging my adventures. I am charting my salmon fly fishing adventures and will profile each fishery that I attend. I may even catch a few fish 😀. All views are my own good or bad.

Hi James thank you so much for your enthusiasm for my adventures. Very timely suggestion on the Awe. I have been looking at other rivers West Coast area such as the Awe, Cree, Oich etc so who knows maybe next year. Where could I get a day ticket on the Awe and is it more a spring or back end river? Thanks Chris

Lovey trout you had there shame it wasn't the salmon we were after. Lovely to have you with us for the day I just wished they were generating a bit more fishes much better then.

And it helps when they generate water but it comes up very quick

Another nice video Chris, drone footage really shows off the beat. Shame the trout wasn't silver but there is always next time.

It's a heartstopper followed by a massive disappointment when you feel your line go tight and it's only a wee broonie on the end. Still, it sorts of beats the blank. I dropped my rod in the Tummel last week. The only reason I still have it is because the line got tangled around my wading staff.
