Thanks for the tip...this is exactly what I needed and happened with the chute of my Mignon. It stucked and was full of coffee here and nothing came out anymore. It happened after I had the hopper completely empty and refilled with fresh new bones...here the machine seems to be relatively sensitive. I cleaned everything and now it works again :-)...
Thanks so much for showing me how to do this I thought my one died today but it was clogged up I will take mine apart tomorrow and clean thoroughly Now that I know I wouldn’t have guessed the screw behind the logo .
Thank you so much for doing this video!!Man, can’t believe how many times you had to opened up the nose part! Appreciate it! Guess I need a bellow too.
I have the Facile with a bellows from Amazon and it works pretty well as a single doser. I find it works best to give it a couple of long slow pushes as it reaches the last couple of grams and it will kind of push everything out vs. waiting until it's done and trying to just blow the last bits out with air alone. Then at the end of my coffee making day, i'll run the ginder and blow it out with compressed air or a minivac with a blower function.
This is exactly the video I needed. I was hoping to take off the declumbing blade but didn't know how to go about it. Did you notice any cons of taking off the blade? Thanks from Québec, Canada!
What I found out is It really helps to blow air slowly while eureka grinding. If you blow air after grinding stops , it is hard to the grounds and you need to push harder. That makes mess.
I know it's late Tom but if you RDT your beans then you can take out the little declumper baffle. I use a bellows hopper as well and I get no retention.
Hi, I unscrewed 3 screws, lift and pulled and after an hour still couldn't get the front panel off, even took off the bottom plate and managed to snap one of four hooks of the panel, why does it look so easy when you do it? BTW new machine.
@@TomsCoffeeCorner yes I have it, took it back to the seller to disassemble, he said some are just really tight out of the factory, and even though he repaired hundreds of grinders, mine took a while for him to take apart.
Hi Tom! I've just gotten into making Espresso and bought a Dedica with Rancilio Silvia steam rod. Next step would be the open portafilter and a better grinder - my current one can only grind for mocca (Wilfa wscg-2). Which grinder would you recommend as the first/cheap one? CM702?
Nice instruction on cleaning the mignon, I also have a specialita and a Dedica set up like yours. Btw, I think you installed that decrumpler (de-static) with the wrong side....
@@TomsCoffeeCorner Hi Tom, if you look carefully, the clear plastic where you need to screw in the decrumpler, there is actually a indend with the shape (arrow to the left and rectangular tail to the right) of the top part of the decrumpler piece, you installed it reversely with arrow to the right... but I think it is ok to leave it as it is...
Hi Tom, Just a quick question not relating to this video but concerning the LaSpecialista machine. Is there any way to change the beans in the machine mid operation for different blends and roast levels without either wasting beans by grinding away the remainder, or by removing the tank and upturning the machine to pour out the beans? Thanks Tom. Regards, John
Hi John, as far as I know, you just have to grind through the beans. I will try taking apart the machine soon enough, to see if we can get to the grinder. Best, Tom
Hey Tom, as always a nice video!:) Just a question. What would happen if I take that thingy out of the shute. I mean the baffle thing - I hope you know what I mean!:)
@@TomsCoffeeCorner nice thanks for the fast response. I am torn between the original hopper (I love the looks and simplicity of not single dosing) vs. The bellows…
Hi Tom, could you kindly send direct link to the bellow/single dose mod you’re using? Seems to be so many now. Do you recommend this one as a good fit? Thanks
Hi there! It looks like mine is no longer made, but here are some to choose from: amzn.to/3KsMjpv ps - these are affiliate links. If you click and buy, I get a small provision, at no extra cost to you. Thanks!
i just bought this machine and the first thing i did was remove the declumper. if you single dose and needle distribute, the declumper just adds pain to your life.
@muemue888 has removing the de-clumper been effective over the last 3 months? Is there any downside that you've found, like static, retention, etc? I just ordered my machine and will single-dose with WDT, so I'd like to remove it from the start if it's been working for you. Thanks!
hi Tom! in one of your videos I saw that you have La Marzocco - are you planning a video with it? Maybe comparing it to the dedica or bambino? also I saw that you are a big fan of dedica - do you think it's better than bambino?
Hi! I actually just compared the Bambino with the Dedica: DEEP Dive Review: Delonghi Dedica vs. Breville/Sage Bambino ruclips.net/video/Z-NWn3Z-5Mw/видео.html The Bambino is nice, but costs 2-3x the price. The Dedica offers better value, while the Bambino is better at steaming. Have a look at the video. Oh, and no I don’t have a La Marzocco. That would be nice though. 🙋♂️
@@TomsCoffeeCorner Thank you! I was just wondering why you prefer the dedica because the review was not in favour of the dedica as I can remember (and today the bambino is 190 euros in germany). and what about the La Marzocco? I am using the Picopresso and it sounds not so professional but it provides very good results (when doing it properly also with good grinder and good beans. esp. in dark roasted beans)
Thanks for watching! Comments are welcome!

Those hand-held mini vacs that also have a blowing function work great for cleaning grinders. Vacuum out as much as you can, then blow out the chute.
Thank you so much. Greatly appreciate it! 👍👍

Hi! I put the declumper back on after removing. It does a great job of declumping and removing static. Cheers from Bavaria!
Nice one Tom, as I am interested in getting a grinder its nice to be able to get ideas/thoughts on what best would suit me like this one.
Thanks for the feedback, Mikael. The Specialita is a really nice grinder in my opinion. Kind of expensive in Scandinavia though.

I left the screw in it, so the orientation must be correct. Or do you mean something else? Cheers!

Hi sir, where can I buy a bellows similar to yours…is it available from Eureka? I own a Eureka mignon tradizione I bought last month. Thanks, Marc ☕️😉
