I have this same grinder. Great work flow, super consistent, fast, quiet, easy to dial in, zero retention; I couldn't ask for anything more.
Same. And I got it for $360 all in from espresso coffee shop. Insane value.
@@Hillbillyspree That's an amazing price.
How easy is it to switch from espresso setting to filter coffee setting?.
@@UchihaAditya this grinder is not made for filter. And I do not use it in such a way. So I do not know
@@UchihaAditya Well, it's clearly an espresso grinder. If one wanted to use it for other brewing methods, you'd just turn the dial to adjust the grind.
Thank you a million times over. I just bought the same grinder, and haven’t been able to dial in this grinder.
Thanks for this. I have the Eureka Facile, and it was a NIGHTMARE to dial in the grind setting accurately.
Bought exactly same grinder in same color and its perfect. I needed like 6 shots to find the right setting but here I am. The taste is nice and i have +/- 0.1gramm diff in weight.
Anybody who says the Specialita doesn’t go fine enough either doesn’t have their burrs aligned or got a bad set of burrs because the grinder definitely goes fine enough.
hello, how are you, I'm from Spain and I have a breville barista Max and my question is, will I notice a lot of difference if I buy the Eureka Mignon zero grinder. Thank you, I'm waiting for your answer to buy it
Question: To those who have opened/cleaned their Mignon Zero - How did you remove the top screws that hold the faceplate on? One of the screws is tucked well underneath the larger grind dial. And even with a smaller screwdriver, I can't get a good enough angle to remove the screw completely. Is there a way to remove the dial?
In case it helps anyone, you can remove the grind dial simply by turning counterclockwise past the max course setting.
Are you gonna review oro single dose too? It would be nice to see comparing them.
In Europe, there are two model Mignon Zero Brew and Mignon Zero. One is for drip and french press and the other is for espresso, turkish coffee, and mokka
Any chance you've come across any EU Zero Brew sellers that will ship to US? Otherwise I think I'm going to pick up a Zero and swap in the filter burrs
Love my Eureka Mignon Specialita!
Good evening from Marseille France 🇫🇷 😀
Informative video, thank you for posting!
Hoon for my second grinder got a Crono for indeed 200 got espresso burrs and save 250 dollars
Mine is the ORO and I am struggling to find the zero point :")
the grind size either too fine that my ECM machine can handle or too coarse
Eres muy entretenido. Si un poco desordenado como todos los buenos cafeteros. Saludos desde Viña del Mar
I want that hopper for my Specialita, and then i get the best of both worlds.
Very nice, do you have any idea if its hopper fits E. Specialita, thank you
it fits. I am using specialita and put the single dose hopper on it it. it works fine completely. With this setup, u can get both hoppers at the same price of having the zero only.
This or the Niche Zero? 🤔
I wonder how this compares to the Niche Zero in terms of the grinds' fluffiness, etc. (disregarding the price differential).
buy niche
@@lenso010 I did...
@@calisson47 i loved fiaranzato all ground . great for switching between brews and zero retation
Do you use puck screen on your routines? I noticed this one you didn’t.
Only the puck paper. I should make a video on puck screen soon.
my specialita setting changes every time it gets cleaned. Burr touch used to be slightly before 0 when it was purchased three months ago. Now burr touch is at 5 (moving clockwise from 0 that is). Does this version have the same issue? Considering selling and maybe
I noticed this, and realized it was happening because I was not setting the grinder to "0" before opening it. Once I started doing that I had 0 issue with the zero point shifting.
@@mihir1997 Did you manage to get "0" back to zero-point? If so, how did you accomplish that?
I just bought a DF64, I wonder should I have gotten this instead.
You have more options with DF64. Now you have SSP options now. Not with Mignon
better burrs are on DF64
@@petervansan1054 Better built motor on Mignon
I think more options with df64 but higher build quality with eureka for sure.
I had same problem today 8:24
Aside from everything else what is the big deal from users who say to remove hot sticker from Rocket Appartamento ? Is it just coffee snobs doing what they do best and criticising others?
Welcome back!
Eureka is silly, I don't get why they don't just use 'Perfetto' style knobs (all grind settings on one rotation) on their single dose grinders. It's not ideal but clearly they can't find a solution to the problem?
This is an espresso grinder. The big clue is that it's called the ZERO and has bellows. This was not designed for other types of brewing.
Hoon you need to open the paddle in the hopper to use the bellows other wise you will get retention as the air cannot touch the coffèe grains .
I'll check it out tomorrow morning
Nonsense. The bean gate has holes in it for air to pass through, it’s there to prevent popcorning and you should 100% keep it closed while grinding!
@@jurgenzielmann1108 sorry sunshine your wrong in in the Zero there are no holes in the paddle like the specialita which I have so air can't get through ,I've changed out my hopper for a single dose with bellow ,I don't get popcorning and no retension because there's nothing to stop the air because no paddle.
@@jurgenzielmann1108 by all means close the paddle for grinding ,but open it after to use bellows .
It’s you’re, not your. Google Eureka part number 10434, sunshine.
I dont like eureka grinder. I loved fiaranzato all ground model. It makes nonsense other brands.
