If you want to test if you rinced your machine enough, just put a bit of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) in the glass after running it. If it foams, there is still acid in the machine.

Be careful with vinegar. When it reaches boiling point it releases acetic acid into the air and isn’t good for your respiratory system or eyes. Just make sure the area is well ventilated.

I came here to get the rough idea, didn’t have the vinegar so used a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda in the tank, then flushed it through with a full tank on both the steam nozzle and coffee extractor.
The coffee had just started to develop an after taste. Water went from yellow to crystal clear. Thank you for the advice. Was going mad as I didn’t think there was a way to clean it but didn’t think the obvious would work. The wand definitely needed a good clean. It’s like a jet now compared to before

Yes, citric acid is just that but concentration % can be harder to get right.
I'd say start with a lower concentration first rinse it and then see if the flow is better.
5% citric acid is what you really should use every time.
Higher only for shorter time - rinse after few minutes instead of 20-30 min.
      It's up to you.
Any citric acid 5% made for coffee machine cleaning / espresso will be fine.
      No need for fancy extras.

Wow if the pump makes buzzing noises, try this trick:
Open rhe steam wand full on.
Put cups under coffee and steam.
Start the machine and hopefully it was just a problem with air.
When water runs out and air gets into they system, rhe pump won't work but opening the steam attachment fixed it for me.
If it's not that, put citric acid in the water container and try starting it once or twice then let it sit a few hours and try again.
Try with 2-3 hours between attempts until water flows nicely!
      Hope it helps!

Try to follow the steps and you could also use a shallow container / plate to soark the coffee out port with citric acid solution - it will dissolve the limestone there.
All this if you hear the pump making a moise trying to make pressure.
If there is no noie from the pump, the machine os broken. Ask the shop to repair it or return it if you can.

Several manufacturers specify cleaning with vinegar. That is one flavor I don't want anywhere near my coffee. I've used citric acid for years and am always impressed how awful the water looks when I start the cleaning process. I usually use about 1 full tank with the citric acid solution (it gets clear near the end) and then rinse with a tank of just water.
Like he says, clean both the water that goes to the coffee grounds AND the steam tube that froths the milk. The end result is good.
Now if I could just find how to replace the part of the machine that heats the water. Over time the seams spring leaks and I need to buy a new unit as I don't see how to replace that water heating unit.
