As a musician myself, I appreciate all types of music and raised my 2 sons to be the same. But i also know natural talent when i see it and this guy's got it. He can actually sing, which is something lots of hip hop artist can't do. He also sounds just as good live and that's very hard to do.
Rip 🪦 to my grandma carpet rug . When I was 8 yo I use to watch bet all day/night back when Donnie Simpson & Lady Sheri S. Where the host. And I use to hop off her couch 🛋️ when this music video came on . Rip Granny 🥲😢👏🏾 👼🏾 🕊️

You can really see and hear the funk influence in New Jack Swing when you see it live. Miss this music
Love this song❤
Raphael Saadiq sooo beautiful m,he always stood out to me his style, look, and voice sooo beautiful
They sang this when they guested on SNL. It was great.
i have both SNL songs on VHS somewhere. I REALLY wish someone had Tell Me Mama (Live on SNL) on RUclips somewhere.
After watching Loyalty No Royalty, I feel like this song is a dig from Raphael, D’Wayne, and Tim to the rest of the band.
Def got yelled at for the nuts line by the network lol
