Hi everyone, please know episode 3 is now live as well! It is probably my favourite episode with more crazy views, great roads, an almost emotional ending and crossing the roadtrip of an other group of enthuisasts. *Read below for the list of mountain passes in this episode.* Episode 3: ruclips.net/video/b7Ht40z3I8U/видео.html Start: Pfunds, Austria 1. Rechenpass, Austria 2. Stelvio, Italy 3. Umbrailpass, Switzerland 4. Ofenpass, Switzerland 5. Fluelapass, Switzerland 6. Albulapass, Switzerland Arrival in St-Moritz
Thank you Michael! Probably half of the post production time is spent looking for the right music to go with the scenes and atmosphere of the video so thank you for appreciating that part of the video 😊 And thank you for tagging along!
@@Retroschaft It's a mature style for a mature audience. Not every video about cars needs to be a series of quick video cuts set to heavy metal or outlaw country tracks. You aren't racing this car, you are touring, and your music choice tells me "we are relaxed, soaking in the atmosphere, and in no rush for this experience to end."
Couldn't have said it better myself. I was hoping the lack of loud sounds and racing through the mountains wouldn't be missed because that wasn't the goal with this trip. We enjoyed the drive and the surroundings thoroughly, while respecting the care these countries take with building and maintaining these roads. Thank you for watching but more importantly thank you for enjoying the series!
I'm a little surprised at how hazy the air looks at those altitudes. Was this during peak summer? I imagine what I'm seeing is a lot of humidity. Also, it's a little disappointing how commercialized a lot of this has become, though not surprising.
Awesome video's! I have driven a lot of those passes myself as well in the past. If you're going for a 2nd run in the future, send me a note. I live in the Netherlands. I will join you with my 911 3.2 Police edition (former rijkspolitie car).
Thanks for the kinds words! Next trip might be to Scotland ;) I went trekking through Scotland in 2018 and since showing all the photos I took there to my dad we both have been longing to drive the NC500 with the 3.2!
Mate, what a Series! Did a similar trip with my 996 4s this year, so this brought back great memories! Great filming and commentary! Could you share the route you were taking? That would be great, all the best from germany
Hi Frederik, by popular demand I will put the route in the description this evening. I've been putting it off but I'll add it right now. Great to hear this trip brought back memories! Definetely watch the last episode too, it's the one I'm most proud of to be honest. It nicely concludes the entire thing. Doing this in a 996 4s sounds wonderful, that little bit more comfort is surely welcome even though the 3.2 is already fantastic!
Fantastic video. It has always been a goal of mine to drive my Porsche not only through Europe but through all of the mountain ranges and passes as well.

Excellent Porsche Adventure - you are so fortunate to make these types of memories with your father.
We are both very much aware of that. This won't be the last trip! Thanks for the kind words ✌️
Wonderful.
Love the colour & stance on the car.
Loving the presentation, the music choices, the calm demeanor. Thanks for bringing us along.

We're very lucky to be able to enjoy things like this. Thanks for watching 😊
Very lovely video as well as your 911. I have a 72' 911 and would love to have an opportunity to drive it thru these mountain passes someday 🙂.
I'm glad you can get a feel for that experience through these videos. Thanks for the kind words and thank for watching!
best thumbnail ever
That view was absolutely insane, had to pull over to enjoy that for a bit

Did you start this video in Pfunds? Very beautiful countryside and mountains, thank you for the film
You are very much correct! Our hotel was located opposite the Billa (Pension Fundus). Thanks for watching!

Hi, you can see the list of passes covered in each episode now in the pinned comment at the top of the comment section in each video.
