@@ogribiker8535 Aren't those factory items? People don't realize that most of Porsche design was terrible for very long time. The ones that weren't terrible were pretty much stolen from Tatra
Gorgeous car, but what really makes this video is watching two OCD Porsche guys discuss it. Knowing how much skilled work went into it makes it more beautiful.
Top-notch! What a guy, skilled, passionate, golden thinking and hands. As an old man, I am pleased to see that there is a generation picking up the romance of petrol head-ness. Thank you for sharing!
It's like critiquing the Mona Lisa, since this is such outstanding workmanship... The design is so perfect this one (IMO) shortcoming stands out: the dash. Clearly inspired, as he said, by the Sportster, it seems unfinished and bare. The 356 Speedster had a rounded gauge cluster and more importantly a padded dash cap. Those little details would have really tied the interior fully into the amazing vision he had to integrate 356 and 912.
Good job bro an awesome build for a classic Porsche. Magnus Walker brought out all the details in the video. Really nice paint and rear deck lid with a clean design inside and out. Just one critique I'm sure you'll fix later. The front trunk lid gap is a little uneven on the passenger side, couldn't help but noticed. Anyway it's an amazing car build bro, congrats 😊👍🏼
Now that is a man with talent. I hope that local youths get to take in this piece of art and are inspired to put down their phones and get dirty using their hands to make something from nothing.
What it took to make this car look as “simple” as it does required an unbelievable amount of complicated craftsmanship. Beautiful car. I’ve seen an Emory 356 coupe in person. Top quality work all around.
Love love love how much Magnus is picking this young guy’s brain. You can tell Magnus is geeked on the build and wants all the inside tea 🍵 😅! Game recognize game 👏🏾
Remarkable build. Rod clearly is good at bringing together talented folks as much as he is good at putting together Porches. Love to hear people talk about “family” where they work.
❤😮😊 that’s a very sweet 68 Porsche I like it keep up the good work with the other Porsches you do a Mangus can you do a wonderful job keep it up bro peace. Have a good week.
What an artist! that whole car, but I especially love the wheel arches and back from the doors is absolutely genius. Drew Hafner, thank you for doing what you do and share that passion with us!
Spectacular in every respect. Love the blended rocker to fender work, the drip rail delete, the front bumper to body mounting and oh the mounting of the beehives. Absolutely beautiful craftsmanship and eye for detail. Good going Drew.
Excellent questions from Magnus to bring out the details of the build. Of course his expertise could see the areas of interest. Great build and informative discussion to make a great episode.
Of all the OPP offerings (and I’ve drooled over many) I’m surprised that this is my favorite. Under 200hp, and the most thoughtful and beautifully structured build I’ve seen, maybe ever. I don’t believe that this young man could have executed the construction of this car any better in any way. Absolutely stunning. Outstanding car, @drewhafner !
I'm glad and very happy, Magnus, stopped going off the beaten path and came back to where he will always thrive in the Automotive world. Vintage/ Classic Porsche. You think you have done and seen everything done with these cars. And suddenly as you turn and come back around, there is Freshness on a very old by now, formula. This is a restomod Porsche video, epically " EDITED" . Complete and thorough ,interview, and a newly discovered talent. I've seen him and this car on another channel. But Magnus doing the shake down of all the mods, the well done epic Edit, and the new talent. Most enjoyable video. Right up there with the 917 vid.....congratulations opp team!
What an incredible build. Drew has done a fabulous job and created such a unique and beautiful 912. Thank you for sharing this Magnus. Well done Drew :)
Does my heart warm to see a young fellow so talented and passionate about his craft and devotion. Rod, you are lucky to have him and vice versa. Thank you Magnus for sharing.
Been aware of this build for a while now...thnx 4 the share here.......this young man will soon be very well known......what he did here was waaaaay beyond. His dad , his childhood, his working at Rods...its a perfect storm...... in this current world of 500 and 600k restomods, 1 mil singers....2 mil gunthers....this car is easily a 200k build right now.............folks would line up to buy it......I wonder how long he stays at Rods...sooooo amazing....all his choices....wow
what a fascinating story... not only the car, but drew's journey to california and the emory family. i love it. great job drew, great job magnus. i love car stories that have the person's journey intertwined... because the car would not exist without that person and that journey.
This car is really special! I love 356s yet realize a 912 may be the only old Porsche I’ll ever have a hope of affording. Maybe one day I can adapt one or two ideas from this piece of rolling art.
Wow! What a build. Thank you Magnus for asking the questions to help us understand all the detailed work that went into making this build special, through and understated.
I’m building my first 911 hot rod. I’m enjoying the passion of the design. Thanks for sharing this amazing young man and his beautiful Porsche. -Spanky
Beautiful Car, there is nothing like a classic car that runs well and there is nothing like a Porsche, apart from the bonnet being a little bit wonky it is perfect, I want that car and I want it now!!!!!
Absolutely stunning!! And revs out to 10rpm!! This is one of the best looking Porsches I've ever seen. The colour and how clean it looks. Not forgetting the stance, which to my eye is spot on. I was watching Chris Harris hooning around with Richard Tuthill in that amazing Tuthill 911 with the 12rpm redline! I thought that was my dream Porker! Now though not so sure.. Maybe a combo of the two- somehow! Probably sacrilege but who cares when there is so much love, care and emotion put into these machines. The purists can keep their thoroughbreds and give me this stuff every time. Thanx for the share fellas!!
Magnus…this is one of my favorite of your OPP vids! Love the car Drew has built and your presentation and questions about the build and his background were spot on and engaging. Loved that you geeked out on the build and asked about design cues and details that we the viewers can’t really see. This is one of my favorite restomods and I’ve seen an other vid about it, however it didn’t have the detail that you brought out. Because you queried Drew about the wheels/tires, I went on the Group4 website and actually ordered a set similar to Drew’s (16x6 and 7’s, silver w/“diamond cut” rims) for my build. I’m doing a Subie powered restomod of a ‘72 VW SB w/a vintage 911/356 theme, hence the retro 911 wheels. J.
What a car! I was a singer lover before seeing this. Love the simplicity and throwback to the 356 and even the 4 banger. More of these need to be made, give singer a run for their money and just maybe at a price a little more approachable. The lines are breathtaking, every choice just perfect. And great to see Magnus stoked to see some hope in the future of another young and super talented Porsche builder. Such a great video, Thank you!
Such a beautiful car. Never would have thought Woody Harrelson was that skilled with his hands.😉 Seriously though, truly amazing build. Hats off to Drew.
Awesome video Magnus. Great interview, you asked all the questions we didn’t know we wanted to ask. Amazing build, all those special touches, which you kindly pointed, were impressive. I was just in awe. Truly unique. The 356 touches were so beautifully adapted to 911. Truly special. Rod must be so proud of his son in law.
absolutely superb. I love my 912 built by Andy Prill in the UK. I owned a 1972 2.4S Oelkappe before that but love the delicacy, the balance, handling and steering feel of a sorted 912
Wow. so young to be able to tastefully refresh the look of this old 912. My favourite detail has to be those rocker panels integrated with the underbody. Pure class. Inspiring.
Thank you for having me on!
I love your work. Inspiring
MR Hafner, your passion is an inspiration.. you have a talent to create a work of art…Félicitations du Québec, Canada
You have a good eye. Beautiful work.
Incredible job buddy, really
You've created a piece of art and one of the best looking vehicles I've ever seen
Oldskool SuperK😁😁L.. ...always!!
This is the definition of a clean look for a classic Porsche. Very simple and classy.
The front yes, the back no!. Those lights just look cheap nastie after thoughts.

My favourite episode. You can tell that Magnus is extremely impressed.... beautiful car.

The first time I ever saw Magnus smiling in a video. It seems like their chemistry syncs well. Such a great build, piece of ART!
This is the cleanest 912 I’ve ever seen in my life. Great work man, please keep it up!
Special Episode Magnus. I am sure this young man has a VERY bright future.

This was super cool Magnus!
You wouldn't need to be a Porsche fan to enjoy this one, the energy and passion alone is magnetic.
This car is everything. What a beautiful vision and an equally stunning execution. ❤

This is a young man with some serious skills. He's going to be a star in the future... This is a fabulous car...
Brilliant work by a young man , there is hope out there for the trade and bringing craftmanship back . 👍👍👍
Remarkable build. Rod clearly is good at bringing together talented folks as much as he is good at putting together Porches. Love to hear people talk about “family” where they work.

WOW! That is a masterpiece for sure.
So simple but so much detail / No goofy stickers, wheels & vents
Thanks for the show! The Kid has a bright future!!
Best video you've made in a while. Thanks!
So many amazing cars have been on OPP. This might be the best!
Excellent questions from Magnus to bring out the details of the build. Of course his expertise could see the areas of interest. Great build and informative discussion to make a great episode.
Follow this young man, he is headed to amazing things. One of top porsche builds ever.
Father and son, re-united at last! xD
Magnus did a wonderful job of getting this young man to tell a wonderful and interesting story.
Best video involving MW since Urban Outlaw. Great story. Can't get enough of long hood hotrods. Don't mind that Pegasus t-shirt either.

Magnus definitely enjoyed this one. 🎉
Superb episode in every sense. Brilliantly filmed and wow what a wonderful achievement.
It was an honor to visit Rod Emory Garage during the shoot - such an inspirational place! Thanks guys!🤘🏼
My kind of Porsche. Excellent work man.

This car is a true work of passion and art....no exaggeration. It's beautiful from every angle, and it's beauty is more than skin deep. Great video.
Craftsman. So good to see a young generation with exceptional skills. What a classic he has built .. top class work

Piece of art.
Beautiful work, thanks for asking all the great questions, probing and letting Drew show us his genius
One of your best opps magnus epic

Nice and cool Sound
Awesome car, nice guy. Another great video Magnus. 👍😎. Where can I get one of those Pegasus shirts?
The best OPP show yet! @drewhafner your work and vision on this car is exceptional. Well done sir!
A real Porsche, no cup holders.
Great build. Congrats!
Genious. What a tracktoy. Now imagine seeing this car in 30 years, with the character it deserves. Driven, hard.
One of the most interesting stories.
Best OPP to date IMHO
Great car and interview
Amazing work dude
Of all the amazing cars that have been featured on OPP, this ‘68 might be one of my faves.. SUCH a great build! Super clean..!
PERFECTION
Stunning workmanship
One of Magnus's best interviews. The workmanship is just out of this world & Drew appears to be a truly fantastic guy.
Such a cool and detailed build.
Also love that shop setup with pretty bare walls and huge photos. Perfection
impressive metal work. This guy has worked with metal like others with clay.
His work is impressive.

Wow,,, The Kid Has Skills….love listening to two well educated men discuss their passion. Thanks for taking us along for the ride…
Absolute masterpiece! You could tell Magnus was super excited about this build and the level of craftsmanship
Magnus, you've found a jewel in the automotive world. This young man is amazing. Thank you...
A unique classic for sure. Truly a work of love.
Beautiful car and great interview. Love to hear two guys that both know a ton about a car have a conversation about it.
phenomenal stuff
Best one yet!
