So you could give the program more cpu resources in task manager (open task manager, right click the application and give more cpu resources)... So this sometimes happens with the newer version of obs... Id try going back a few versions and then see it the problem still happens. If it does reach out to me in a dm on discord and i'll do my best to help
Sorry for the late reply! Sometimes the program has to be ran under admin mode. You'll have to look up "How to run a steam program in adminmode" to find out how to do it.. If you still have issues I strongly suggest VSEEFACE

Its called "Virtual Camera" in the settings of 3tene. Once you check that box, restart your PC and open 3tene and discord again. Once thats done go to your webcam setting in Discord and select 3tene virtual camera... IF that doesnt work I have tutorials on my homepage that show you how to VTube in discord in different ways

Elagato doesnt cover alot of the basic functions like OBS does.. so the only way to add 3tene to elgato from what I found is adding it as a webcam.. how you enable webcam mode with 3tene is either this way ruclips.net/video/HkU1XJNB_B0/видео.html or this way ruclips.net/video/BEJNY5ruxk4/видео.html ... It setups up the software into a virtual webcam

Is there a way to install 3tene without steam? I want to install it but I don’t have enough storage on my computer to install steam. (don’t judge I have rlly low storage on my computer)
So usually this happens for 1 of two reasons... The main one is if you have a logitech webcam, the logitech software blocks it... So if you can uninstall the software and it will work fine... The second thing is because you need to go into the windows settings and allow 3tene to access the webcam (just Google "how to allow programs to use webcam") those should be the solution... I have a question; I often see people pose their avatar and then just put it in their thumbnails etc, background transparent. How can I do that? I mean, even if I pose the avatar in lets say 3tene, it would still show the background if I screenshot it right? I know how to put a transparent background for streams, but that's really giving me trouble haha

When you add 3tene in your sources you need to make sure it is on top of the list.... If you have the game or something over it then it will not show... If that still doesnt work... make a new scene with nothing on it other than 3tene and add it... Make sure you keep 3tene always open for this to work properly.
Yes if you're using it with 3tene you want to use your hp truevision hd camera. Unless you're trying to do something different? Or are you trying to use your laptop just as a webcam then transmit it to another computer?

So in 3tene you cant move the actual avatar... tho you can move the camera around the avatar... On the right side of the program, 5 icons down you will see 4 arrows going in each direction... Click that and it will move the camera up and down (hold right click).... Do get the angles back click the button to the right of those arrows... Hope this helps if it doesnt please let me know and I will attempt to assist further!
Are you using your mouse wheel? That's the zoom in on the program... Right clicking and holding the right mouse button allows you to move the camera around

Sure do! Use Vseeface (3tene makes you use either green or blue screen... Where vseeface allows you to use a checkered background)... On obs you can always go into the chroma key filter and there should be a slider that says similar put it down to 1. I have green eyes and did it to me too
Great question! So there are two reasons why this happens 1) this most common is because you have logitech webcam software installed... If you uninstall it... the camera will work with no issues 2) Select Start > Settings > Privacy > Camera. In Allow access to the camera on this device, select Change and make sure Camera access for this device is turned on. Then, allow apps access to your camera. ... Once you've allowed camera access to your apps, you can change the settings for each app. If neither of those work please feel free to join my discord and I will do my best to help you out
No it's on the bottom right of the task bar by the clock.. see if you have the logitech software running (if you have a logitech webcam you probably do) if it is try uninstalling the webcam software

Yes absolutely! And I personally feel that vseeface is better than 3tene lol but honestly 3tene is far superior... The wakaru developer kinds stopped working on the program over 1 1/2 ago :(
If you have a low end pc I highly suggest you use Vseeface as it uses less resources... I have a video coming out next week comparing the different popular programs and such... Wakaru uses around 1.5gb of ram while 3tene uses typically 25% on cpu.... Where vseeface uses 15% cpu and only 700mb of system memory... Which is far better on lower end systems (but also depends on your specs, but basically vseeface uses less of everything) on that note as well what ever you do plan to use I suggest while the program is open is to open your Tak manager, right click the program and put the cpu priority to low... It will help out your pc as you stream and and less lag for some people
So there is a few options... One you can search online for free vtubing models, you can hire an artist to make one for you (like on fiverr) or you can make your own with programs such as unity or vRoid studio

Usually the webcam application is bloavking it.. for example logistic software... Try uninstalling that and see if it helps

You can make an avatar in vroid studio, download a free one online or pay someone on Fiverr for example to make one for you

For some reason when I downloaded 3tene in steam, It wont open 😭, same when I downloaded it on the browser.... Is it a problem from my laptop?? (Also I call 3tene Mitene because it's a japanese pun.. 3 can also be called "mi" and mite means look so mitene is like "look at me")

It says I need to allow 3tene to access me camera
So usually this happens for 1 of two reasons... The main one is if you have a logitech webcam, the logitech software blocks it... So if you can uninstall the software and it will work fine... The second thing is because you need to go into the windows settings and allow 3tene to access the webcam (just Google "how to allow programs to use webcam") those should be the solution... I have a question; I often see people pose their avatar and then just put it in their thumbnails etc, background transparent. How can I do that? I mean, even if I pose the avatar in lets say 3tene, it would still show the background if I screenshot it right? I know how to put a transparent background for streams, but that's really giving me trouble haha

When you add 3tene in your sources you need to make sure it is on top of the list.... If you have the game or something over it then it will not show... If that still doesnt work... make a new scene with nothing on it other than 3tene and add it... Make sure you keep 3tene always open for this to work properly.

hello im having trouble moving my character. when i rightclick it only moves her angle how do i drag her up and down?
So in 3tene you cant move the actual avatar... tho you can move the camera around the avatar... On the right side of the program, 5 icons down you will see 4 arrows going in each direction... Click that and it will move the camera up and down (hold right click).... Do get the angles back click the button to the right of those arrows... Hope this helps if it doesnt please let me know and I will attempt to assist further!

Are you using your mouse wheel? That's the zoom in on the program... Right clicking and holding the right mouse button allows you to move the camera around

What you can do Is go into the settings of 3tene... Half way down is *enable virtual camera* then go to discord and look for 3tene virtual camera... That is another method that could work for you

@@VtuberSenpai I tried tracking my face with a. Webcam on 3tene but it said webcam startup timed out. Give 3tene permission to use camera or change wait time. But I did. And it still says that.
how did you make it transparent
On obs you need to right click on the 3tene source... Add filter... Then add chroma key... That will add the green screen removal.

Hey there! I tried to do the green screen method but my avatar has green eyes and ya know.... it disappeared. And when I try to use other colors it either messes up the avatar or just doesnt work. Got any tips?
Sure do! Use Vseeface (3tene makes you use either green or blue screen... Where vseeface allows you to use a checkered background)... On obs you can always go into the chroma key filter and there should be a slider that says similar put it down to 1. I have green eyes and did it to me too
You can switch it to blue screen as well (assuming you don't have any blue on you and switch the program to blue screen too) 😁

Great question! So there are two reasons why this happens 1) this most common is because you have logitech webcam software installed... If you uninstall it... the camera will work with no issues 2) Select Start > Settings > Privacy > Camera. In Allow access to the camera on this device, select Change and make sure Camera access for this device is turned on.
Then, allow apps access to your camera. ...
Once you've allowed camera access to your apps, you can change the settings for each app.

No it's on the bottom right of the task bar by the clock.. see if you have the logitech software running (if you have a logitech webcam you probably do) if it is try uninstalling the webcam software

In the settings.. go to the graphic options and turn anti aliasing from 16x to 4x

Yes absolutely! And I personally feel that vseeface is better than 3tene lol but honestly 3tene is far superior... The wakaru developer kinds stopped working on the program over 1 1/2 ago :(

If you have a low end pc I highly suggest you use Vseeface as it uses less resources... I have a video coming out next week comparing the different popular programs and such... Wakaru uses around 1.5gb of ram while 3tene uses typically 25% on cpu.... Where vseeface uses 15% cpu and only 700mb of system memory... Which is far better on lower end systems (but also depends on your specs, but basically vseeface uses less of everything) on that note as well what ever you do plan to use I suggest while the program is open is to open your Tak manager, right click the program and put the cpu priority to low... It will help out your pc as you stream and and less lag for some people

So there is a few options... One you can search online for free vtubing models, you can hire an artist to make one for you (like on fiverr) or you can make your own with programs such as unity or vRoid studio
