Hi, had 13 of these come froma liquidation load and was able to repair 12 of them by watching this video. You just helped me make at least a $1000. God bless you Sir
nice one, very good video. I'm sure I'll be doing this repair soon. Really not impressed with the M6, wont even go over textured floor tiles let alone through a doorway. Share a map? no, no, no... we dont need to share a map. pah! regret buying them - the M6 and the hoover (i9?).
My m6 wasn’t spraying and I think it’s the nozzle. But when I took it apart I noticed that I don’t have a filter (where you poured the water). Is this a defect? Do I need one? I’ve only ever used iRobot cleaners so the clogged nozzles a mystery. Your videos are great and if I can’t get my nozzle clean I will definitely order yours.
Thanks for the vid. My nozzle is the issue. Soaking it in rubbing alcohol didn't help. Trying acetone now. Any other ideas? Maybe I'll just let the hose hang out with no nozzle like a dong
Here is the link to the replacement nozzle that I sell on Amazon and ebay. Then it's most likely the filter under the tank, or the tank cap (which doubles as air vent to let air in the tank as water escapes). If you can blow through the nozzle, it's not the nozzle.
Took my nozzel apart and soaked it, but cant tell if it is good now, I dont think so, but the part if 50 bucks on ebay. Is there another way to check the nozzel? Also I checked the operation of the pump using a screwdriver battery powered and think I reemed out the top. Where can you I get a screw to fit the middle of the pump? THanks
I still get no water…..I fixed the tube that dispenses water and made sure it shoots out of the spray nozzle. what else could it be? Should i replace the nozzle anyway?
If it sprays out of the nozzle, the nozzle isn't the issue. Did you watch my video on the pump fix? If so, and it doesn't spray after doing everything in my other video, then the issue is a water delivery issue, most likely the tank or filter screen is clogged
@@brobots240 yea i watched your other vid on the pump. When i spin it with the screw driver water shoots out when i put it all back together nothing happens…this machine is so frustrating.
@@Morettijw1 either the tank or the filter screen that the tank sits on. Something isn't letting water in. Trying filling the tank and pressing the button on the bottom over a sink and see if it dispenses water...if it does, it's most likely the filter screen
Do you have a spray nozzle for sale? I am in need of the nozzle. I got mine from a liquidation place and looks like the previous owner used mop and glo or some kind of wax. I was able to clear out most of the nozzle and got it to spray again but its not a wide stream it sprays more to the left.
You can try alcohol or almost boiling water. You may have to try a few times with the hot water. It's usually hit and miss depending on how clogged it is. Irobot won't sell this part, so ebay is the only choice, and they are hard to find usually.
@@brobots240 same issue with me, nozzle is clogged. I tried soaking it in hot water for like 15 mins but didn’t help. Do you think blowing into it with something powerful would help ease the clogging?
You can get them here on Amazon. Made, sold, and shipped from U.S --- Spray Nozzle for iRobot M6 & 240 Braava Jet - Replacement Part - Robot Mopping Vacuum a.co/d/0Van1BS
@@chuckschneweis9508 yeah they usually run 35-38 with free shipping. If available. You need to take into account most parts are pulled from working irobots that could easily be sold as a whole. So the sellers need to make the same amount in parts if they sold it as whole irobot. So the most popular and needed parts are usually the most expensive, but still alot less than purchasing another irobot.
@@brobots240 Yeah I am thinking about putting this back together and sending it back to the company its 8 months old. I wish I would have never gotten this one, it takes a shile and not hugely pleases with the result. If they dont take it back f it.

You need that filter because the middle of it presses on the bottom of the tanks valve release the water, without it, it won't spray
Where can I get a filter? I’ve never had one and it worked for a long time but could explain my repeating not spraying issues!

How do you replace the water pump
I have another video on that if you look at my channel.
Can the plastic piece around the sprayer be replaced? Does it cause it not to spray if it fell off ?
Yes it can be replaced, it is mainly cosmetic but protects a small proximity sensor behind it as well.
