You rock! Your camera work aside (haha), you talked me through this project and gave me the confidence to tackle it - AND IT WORKED!!! On mine, when I opened up the main case, the wire assembly connection box had burn marks on it. I'm really glad I clipped them disabling that part. I got my Braava second hand, so warranty was not an issue. It helps to have a specialty small screwdriver kit to unscrew those itty-bitty screws. Thank you VERY much! Mine had been sitting for months and I'd done everything imaginable to satisfy the "Fill Tank" message.
6:00 rewiring (just using for a reference) Thanks for this! Twist black yellow and purple together (will always think the lid is shut and tank is full). Just did it, bot working again. Thanks!
I had wondered whether the sensor in the tank was the problem -- I use vinegar and water and thought this was the price I was going to pay in rusting the sensor. iRobot Support suggested only that I order a new tank for $40. I think they might be wrong about that and that this video is correct. . . Thank you. I'm feeling uneasy about trying this but I guess it's better than spending another $500 on a new unit.
Use a thin piece of magnetic rubber, it worked for me thanks to your video. Of course, you will know the tank is empty only when the unit stops spraying.
I don't know why I didn't see this video before. It didn't work when I connected wires, some how it was showing same error. I got angry again. Closed it. reset the system. connected back to app. reset it again. Nothing worked. I take it back, in front of the base. (I didn't put it back to home) Disconnect from app, connected back, reboot the system with holding clean button 20 sec. when it is ready, send back to home with clicking home button on robot. Find its home. Finally, it erased the fill tank error. You might have same problem. Just reconnect robot, reboot system, send home. Done. Thank you.
Dare to do it, it worked! My mop was 1 year charging resurrecting and dying again for months. Thank you this really worked and solved the issue

I love it . Thank you .
okay, did that. pain. now is anybody's sprayer not working?
omg, there is a floater inside the water tank, it gets dirty and gets stuck on the bottom of the tank, hence the fill the water tank.
Wondering if anybody knows of a better machine.
