iRobot Braava Jet M6 spinning in circles or navigation errors. One possible fix!

- Braavas over time can develop problems navigating which often exhibits symptom of moving erratically especially moving around in circles and backwards. It may manifest only when sending it to a specific room to mop and eventually won’t work at all and doesn’t go past its charging station. We found one of the culprits is a build up of debris around inside the wheels causing resistance to when the braava moves. The wheels send important information to help the braava navigate and if the wheels aren’t moving properly, the braava can’t navigate properly. Our video shows you specifically how to remove the Braava wheels, how to clean them thoroughly and then how to reinstall them. We hope this fix will help you! Thanks so much!!! Mine could not leave the base and the wheels seemed to be slipery. I tried even new wheels and did not work. I cleaned again all the mechanisms like in your video and found hair rolled in the black cap. Finished cleaning it and everything went back to normal. Thanks thanks thanks!

Great video, thank you! So frustrating that iRobot won’t repair my Braava and asked me to buy a new one because I’m out of warranty.
I cleaned the wheels but unfortunately it didn’t help. Any other suggestions? Tried cleaning the sensors, factory reset, etc.
I did notice that one of the wheels is a bit harder to turn than the other one
Have you tried to factory reset the mop? You might have to do another map run
@@CoastalBluffRoomba I did and didn’t help. The problem is on the right wheel, it stopped working now. I wish there was a place to buy replacement parts for this

@@tcnasc-i3eyou can find replacement wheels on eBay for purchase but it’s not as straight forward as the roombas for replacement. However it might not be the wheel itself and could be the actual circuit board. Perhaps you can find someone near you for possible repair of your braava?
