So i have this unit and am receiving an error 9 message on the app. I just did everything in this video to take it apart and bend out the metal springs a bit thinking that may be the issue. Once i reassembled it's still doing the death spin. Should i just replace the front bumper entirely or is there something else i should be doing? Unit is just over a year old (just out of warranty) so surgery on it is entirely acceptable with me.

My S9 thinks the bin is not installed. Can you share any info on how the bin sensor work and where they are located in the S9?

Thanks! This robot is trash! The design is terrible: extremely difficult to repair, and spare parts are impossible to find. After buying it, I’ve reassessed the iRobot ecosystem negatively, and I’ll probably never buy their products again. The 6xx series is definitely better, much easier to fix!

I have this same error 10 on my Braava. Unfortunately I am not this savvy to cut the wire or shoulder anything :) Why do they have this model with such complicated assembly to replace wheels. !

My shark is an rv990. The connection for the wire cable has broken off. Can I replace that part or do I have to replace the whole wheel and motor?

I tried this and when I put my drill on the pump to check if it would pray it's not sucking the water out of the little water holder that's in the middleany ideas why ? It acts like it want to suck it out you can see the water wanting to suck up but just stay in there , I already cleaned the hoses and the nozzle and everything is clear?

Helped me out! Thanks a lot. I unclogged the nozzle and used a coffee machine descale tablet to remote the limescale. Robot nozzle is spraying like brand new now 👍🏻

I can confirm this worked for me as well. My hose wasn't pinched, but forcing the motor to spin fixed the nozzle and it now sprays. Probably still returning this thing since it's brand new and barely works.

This things a real piece of trash I swear, I replaced the nozzle, I cleaned the tubes, I messed with the motor and what happens is it goes for a minute then barely sprays at all

I was able to solder a new wheel to my Braava using this guide. Using the heat gun on the plastic bracket was a pro tip. Working great now!

My m6 wasn’t spraying and I think it’s the nozzle. But when I took it apart I noticed that I don’t have a filter (where you poured the water). Is this a defect? Do I need one? I’ve only ever used iRobot cleaners so the clogged nozzles a mystery. Your videos are great and if I can’t get my nozzle clean I will definitely order yours.

So i did all that, replaced the nozzle and it's still just drizzling out. The tubes all seem OK. Could that round piece with the gasket on it be the culprit? What is that piece called in case i have to replace it?

What I need is the tubing that goes from the pump to the nozzle and the pump to the round thing in the middle that the tank sits in. Love your videos btw

This is awesome. I just got my m6, and now seeing that it's a simple peristaltic pump, i'm confident I can use the soap i like, and if it clogs any of the tubes, i can either repair or replace them.

Thank you for the time you spent on this video. I just purchased a 'new/never used' M6 from FB marketplace. Despite its described condition and pictures on-line, I could tell that it had been used at least 1 time. Got it home and no squirty squirts were happening. A quick search of Ytube and yours was the first video to exactly match my issue. It was exactly as you described the hose and I was done in less than an hour. YOU ARE THE MAN!!! Saved $325 vs a retail M6.

My m6 was throwing a "wheel stuck error." I've torn down the wheel on the robot to find out it was the electric motor inside that burned. Replacing it was much easier than soldering wires together, I would definitely recommend looking into that before cutting any wires

Thank you for this! iRobot sent me the wrong instructions and given they wanted me to fix this myself, I instantly brought up your video and went to town. I had to take the top off 3 times because I kept forgetting to do something, and the third time, go to so fed up, I ended up breaking the connector on the board. Doh! I'm hoping iRobot will either send a replacement board or let me buy it. Though, I might try my hand at surface mount soldering.

Can I bypass the lid sensor so it thinks it’s down all the time? I don’t want to get this involved.

I followed everything to the letter like you. the pump works, the filter was changed and still the same problem.
