Thank you. And also wow no Number one blind? 😔
You are a god!!
Original Veruca, with new original music. This band is awesome in so many dimensions. Thank you Nina, Thank you Louise, Thank you Steve, and thank you Jim! Always love you guys- never stop making music- never stop playing your early stuff either! And god love you loving David Bowie! You make a 57 year old man into a heartbroken teen!
NOT the original drummer
My uncle (who is only 7 years older than me) introduced me to Veruca Salt back in the early 90s. I've loved them ever since. This is awesome!
I am 50 & was listening to Veruca Salt from the beginning. They have not lost a beat at all. I am very, very pleased they are back together, as they should be, the whole band are masters of the craft. Thank you Veruca Salt, I missed you tremendously.
+MrMagnusman Another commenter thankfully answered that question.. David Bowie's song Chant of the Ever Circling Skeletal Family.
It's always fun to revisit someone's replies on YT years later... and I see I was probably totally drunk the first time around, lol. I should give you a proper response... I can see and hear why you've missed them. I return to this video fairly often.
With you boomer... lol 49 here!
@@clivel5755 ha yeah! BRO!! That happens a lot to me too!
57 in 2021, agree with every word- really something special- VS fans are like Rush fans- Crazy Loyal- because we found something incredibly special
I'm so happy they're back. A band like them is exactly what the music world needs right now. ♥
Wholeheartedly agree!
I was at this show. It was sooooo good. I've waited nearly 20 years to finally see them live. I've been a fan since American Thighs was released. Still one of my fav albums to this day. Loving their new stuff too!! Hope to see them again on their summer tour :)
i grew up listening to them, but it's just watching their new reunion things that i'm realizing what amazing geniuses they are. keep going amazing band.
This rendition of 25 is super f'n awesome
I was big on a lot of 90s music but, sadly, I missed out on them the first go-around. Listening to American Thighs in full for the first time earlier this year I had that 'oh my god... oh my god, how did I *miss* this?!' moment. Thankfully I finally found them. Better late than never.
"I came late to an early game"
Female ACDC...
Maybe you didn't watch enough Mtv if you did you would have discovered them when they were a new band.
Im in the same boat. Just found theses guys a couple months ago. WOW! - how did I miss them in the 90's
There is something very reassuring about these ladies and gentlemen now being in their mid/later 40's still kicking ass like they were still 25. Nina's even still playng that badass P-90 loaded Melody Maker!
There is still hope for the rest of us 40-somethings!
Babes in Toyland is also reassuring. Kat Bjelland is in her 50s and rocks tf out. Maybe they're not always as sharp as VS, but there are some performances from 2015 where I'm really shocked at their energy.
Somebody is a serious David Bowie fan....Awesome band.....For me they are the very integrity of grunge.....so glad they are still kicking ass
"I'm a bad man, I do what I can" gets me every time.
This is so amazing. It's so rare for a band to take that long off and to come back sounding just as good.
Saw them many times in Chicago back in the early days....always crushed it live....so glad they worked things out and are still delivering the goods......such an underrated band.....Fucking love them!!
Living, rockin' proof that Generation-X is very much alive and well. Great to see them together and having so much fun!
26:23 LP, you absolute legend 🎤💔👩🎤
Almost cant believe how good they sound. One of the best at what they do & it's like all the time in between didnt even happen. REALLY hope I get a chance to see them live myself!
I've always been a fan of this great band! Very happy to see them back together and rocking out just as they always did. They've definitely still got it. If one didn't know them, they'd probably think these ladies were in their late 20s lol! But, older people know how to rock better than the young generation anyway. That's why all the great rockers like these guys and ladies are from the past.
thank you so much. been waiting for a full 2014 vid for some time now.
thanks for not getting artsy with the camera, felt like I was there! great show Nina did a good job holding it together even with malfunctions.
Australia, where fights are a common form of greeting.
Not long till Sydney is bleesed again with another concert...... thank you VERUCA SALT
I was almost going to say I saw them that night until I realised it was the following week, same tour same venue though. I was lucky they did the second show because I missed out on tickets to the first show and missed out on seeing them back in the nineties. So glad I caught them this time around and yes they rocked !
I went to this one and I'll never forget it.......... NEVER
I was at this concert and I was blown away..... whistled, cried, sang, screamed the whole kit and caboodle AMAZING !
I caught this tour in St. Louis, MO. It couldn't have been better. Such wonderful respect for the crowd and so much love. Thanks for the music!
Watching this concert coming out of the pandemic in 2021... and I have the same feelings as when I discovered this years ago.. "Love this concert!!"
Loved the warm up music. It took me a minute to place it. For you kiddies out there, the opening music is the last track on David Bowies' "Diamond Dogs" LP - 1974.
Thanks man!
Thank you! I couldn't place it..
Very nice - Welcome back, Veruca Salt!
Glad the girls are still Rockin!!
SEEEEEEETHER!!! 👍👍😁
I'd love to go and see these girls they really are very good such catchy songs
Absolutely killer set. Thanks for the upload.
how amazing a band actually stops a show to help someone! Love ! pure LOVE
A lot of bands do that, especially in Heavy Metal where people go to release some aggression and end up fighting.
Being a teenager in Chicago when they broke in 93 was pretty cool. It's really great seeing them playing with lack and Shapiro
that bit fracas there on 'spiderman 79' part.yup got a bit roughed up there however it's really shows that v.s. do seriously care for their own safety and their fans, the crowd.👍❤🙂.
Awesome! Just wish they had sung Volcano Girls towards the beginning when their voices weren't strained from the long set.
You are right.
Lov this band
Great big thank you for sharing this!
love that banshee yell from nina in all hail me. that stood out to me when i saw them last summer.
i just saw a show last week (potty mouth) and mid song while singing the vocalist says "hey stop that" to a kid starting a mosh. there was none aloud. that crazy moment reminded me of htat.
Great VS vid. Huge thanks and hope you get to see them again.
I love this!! Thank you for capturing this special moment. 💛
Thank you :)
Love the band since the very beginning, have been following for years now, and I like them even more to see how nice they are with that crappy incident. We need new music, has been a while now.
Thank you for uploading this!! I LOVE Veruca Salt!
The best female duo...love their voices together....how come they didnt played one of my fave MORNING SAD.... still one of my fave 90s alt/rock band during highschool...
Awesome! Thanks for the upload!
26:20 Louise - "We've all grown up a little bit." (Except for the people fighting.) :s
omg i love it thanxxx
Ridiculous quality.... And I'm super pissed they didn't play Stoneface in Philly but they played it over there... haha. Thanks.
Excellent video of an excellent show! Thanks for sharing it.
Oh my god, they started with one of my all time veruca salt songs. Amazing!!! Thanks for posting. Thankyou so much!
I want a new album. Been seven years since Ghost Notes - far too long.

thanks for recording this !
TOUR THE STATES! 2O20
love eight arms to hold you songs played here!!!
These 2 Growling Jowls are a great, great band!
Best live video out there! Thank you!
Awesome!!!
Didn't see this tour, but saw them on the Eight Arms tour 3 times at the Prince Of Wales in the mid 90's so no biggie. Got to see them at their height, so I'm happy.
Louise you are the master of feedback.
Girls and guitars always a good pairing.
You all still harmonize like it is 1994.
Amazing
God, I love this...
WONDERFUL VERUCA SALT my favorite song is Shutterbug…
I want a ticket to this show!
Just got tickets to the Tor show =D =D =D
I'm so happy I could cry!
I WAS THERE!!!!!
It was a great gig!
The newer album is really good. Wish I saw this show.
A footnote sadly. Just like so many great bands that we all haven't heard of(after their time had come and gone). Hell my kids don't even listen to anything rock, not on my account either.
Like the Bowie intro. I think from Diamond Dogs
glad there back together !
so them at the vouge in vancouver back in the days and lost my shoes in the mosh pit !!! lol bad walkback to skytrain !
Thank you
HELLO! THEY ARE A HARD ROCK BAND.... SO FIGHTS CAN HAPPEN.... GREAT RIFFS...
Rock isn't an excuse for fighting, ever. What's rock about this, is that they stopped in the middle of a song to make sure everyone's okay.
thanks for sharing
I LOVE LOUISE POST!!! She's PERFECT, my 'realistic' fantasy girl!!!
What song opened was the intro? Sounds like Bowie or maybe even Urge Overkill.
The fight breaks out at 19:34
So amazing
There are so cute talented from ocean side CA fun surf city
Louise = Angus 🤘!!
Pure alternative-rock!
LOVE IT!!
I have VS photos which I took at The Forum in 1996. They opened for the band Bush.
These photos are included in my 2 books on female rock on Amazon.com:

I Wish I Was There !!
timeless
LOL, at Spiderman!!! Nina & Louise were so cool. The woman who came up to the stage was as hot as the veruca girls, give her my regards. :P
Nice video Kemayu, thank you for posting!
Yeah, dude...she just got groped at a show. Maybe ease up on the "she's hot" talk given the circumstances?
Nina still just as good if not better with Luise she still has not missed beat and her voice is still just as it was years ago just little deeper also age plays but she is just as good kinda glad they are back making music and rocking out again with newer generation of fans just now getting into it still awesome !!! Luise still got it too!!! Has not missed her notes or voice still awesome.
GUTTED I missed them in my home town here in Sydney :/
well that was awesome
Supercool! ♥
I really wish they would have performed sundown, that's one of my favourites by them outta many though. Haha Sadly, to be honest I never really cared for celebrate you...
the info says 2005 ? im guessing that's a typo. im guessing 2015.
Actually it was in 2014, but this was their first time they had played in Sydney since their 2005 shows. This was a very good show too! :)

Nice! Missed them doing the "AHH-ahh" in the chorus of 'Celebration.' Not sure if they ever did it live anyway though.
O My Gawd! !
You held your phone up the entire time? Did you use your own eyes at any point? Have your youtube likes given you a confidence boost?
Haha. Well I did glance at the phone screen from time to time to make sure it didn't shift. I was also on the edge of a step that gave me a hight boost, made it easier to hold and meant I was not annoying anyone behind me. I've filmed things for years with much heavier gear, so a phone for 90 mins is doable. I just enjoy making something that hooks and sounds good for my own benefit, if anyone else likes it or not, well that ok. Check out the NIN vid, that was a hoot to make with several cameras! :)
Yet here you are looking for live performances. Don't be so fucking elitist.
What is that son playing before they came onstage?! So cool!
That's a Bowie song. Chant of the ever circling skeletal family. 😊
Thanks!
They both need some sort of lock system on their guitars based on how much retuning they need to do throughout the show
