      Roborock hands down! The mop lift function makes it completely hands off vs having to remove and add the pads or just vacuuming or mopping. They have the dryer function as well, it’s just an add on.

    • @xloweric
      @xloweric 2 года назад +5

      @@wildone3c The L10S also lifts its mop pads, so equal to Roborock on that one. And L10S includes a heated dryer with the vacuum, Roborock charges extra for the dryer, so that's a win for DreameTech. Both seem great, but the L10S has the slight edge at this point in time.

    Wonderful review, thanks for your effort @Tech4All. Particularly liked the fact that it has (1) rubber brush to avoid hair tangles, (2) auto drying mops to avoid bad odors, (3) floor cleaning solution to leave some good smell post mopping.
    On the branding, I guess its the same like BBK electronics, i.e. Vivo, Oppo, Oneplus are all part of it. Most of the consumers does not know about the parent company and that's how they are cluttering the market with their products. But as a consumer, I believe we should only care about how well their products are doing.

    Definitely the best robot cleaner on the market, just strange they are yet again not releasing the Pro version, with the addition of auto fill and empty base station, so you don't even have to remember to fill and empty it other than replacing dust bag, outside of China.... Does it have the ports on the back of the station to retrofit the auto fil/empty unit?
    It is also funny seeing the one factory making multiple units under different brand names (X1, L10s, T10), these are all Xiaomi made units, even stranger they dropped the Xiaomi DreameBot brand name on the latest release and just market under "Dreame"...

    • @TechMishka

      Very good points! I also am wondering why Xiaomi have so many brands... Dreame, Viomi, Roborock, etc. But this seems to give them a pretty good choice about selecting whatever they use for their "Xiaomi" brand.

    What are your thoughts about the camera and privacy? You mentioned putting a tape on it but I believe the robot would not work as intended. Do you feel comfortable with the camera on the L10S?

    TY for the review! IMO another drawback, and dealbreaker IMO, is the water tank in the robot itself is not removable- only the dock one is. That means there’s no way to really clean it and it’s inevitable it will get all moldy and gross and be spreading that water on our floors. Unless there’s something I’m missing where we can get soap and hot water into it?

    Hello! How long does the water last when mopping? I am not sure if mine is working. I currently have this robot and I’m not sure if the water is coming from the robot or the station. For example, I see the wetness on the floor, but have it set up during cleaning to the clean pads then go back out. I’m not sure if the cleaned pads are wetting the floor (from the pads being wet from cleaning) or if the robot is releasing water to the pads while cleaning. When I check the clean water, it is going down and I can see the dirty water. Does this sound like it is work? Or is the dirty water only coming from the pads being cleaned? Hope this all makes since what I am asking.

    • @TechMishka
      @TechMishka  2 года назад +1

      Sounds like it all works fine.
      The station "feeds" the robot with water (there's in-built tank with capacity of 80ml).
      The robot cleans the pads every now and then (the period is configurable too) and while it gets the pads washed, it also refills the in-built water tank.
      In my case - I had to refill the main tank every week if the robot cleans every day.
