Hey would you consider the EWG varient better than the weed gaurd version. Also with the consideration that it's hit or miss trying to set hooks on EWG's rigged in a fineness style. My ponds now own about 20 separate ned rigs that were once mine and they don't even know how to use them 🙃😭
Caught a CHUNK sitting on a bed last week with a ned rig and a YUM crawdad after trying EVERYTHING ELSE! My first time using the ned rig even though I have had it RIGGED UP for over a year. CHATTERBEEZIE'S BABY!!! What up Paul?!?!?
That’s a pretty good deal, I went ahead and ordered some for myself. With the 40% off think they were only 17 bucks and some change. Nice video, looking forward to more of these table talks
Found the Ned rig a few years ago. Always have one on hand when fishing. I have a 7 foot 6 inch med lite rod I use in mor open water and a 6 foot 9 inch med lite around heavier cover for more accurate casts. They work good for me.
Good info on the ned rig. Ive had some success with the hula stick on a 1/15 ewg head flounder fishing. And gald to here you mention sixgill rods. Ive switched all my bass rods and finess over to their rods. And I also use the buzbee tackle box.so far no issues with any of the zman melting.
Burly, I'm a new SUB and discovered the Ned rig about two years ago and it's the bomb! Your video was excellent and I'm also a YAK fisher. Looking forward to seeing your other vids...
Man I hated the Ned rig but the other day wasn’t catching anything bank fishing and an older gentleman said he was leaving and caught a few 6 inchers in a stop and wanting to avoid the skunk I went over and threw it and first cast caught a 4lb smallmouth then proceeded to catch 52 smallies and 3 spots in 3 days neve caught so many fish so now I love the Ned rig
Great video Jeff. I have really gotten into the Ned rig bite this last year with some good success. Wish Amazon Canada had that kit but sadly it doesn’t. Keep up the great content as always!!
You should try out the Savage Gear ned craws if you haven't yet (SG has ned minnows, goby, and salamanders too, but I haven't used those yet). They absolutely crush it. I just got a pack in my FTC box last week and I've already caught nine nice bass with them, including a 3+ pounder, my biggest of the year so far that I just caught earlier tonight. They're made of an elaztech-like plastic as well so they're durable and buoyant like the Zman baits. Zman's Finesse Bulletz jig heads work great as an EWG ned head option as well and they're designed to work better with the stretchy plastic.
So I dropped a good amount of money on Ned rig tackle and baits a while back, even bought a medium lite/2000 size reel combo and hoped to use for winter time fishing. But how much would yall recommend the ned rig to a central Florida fisherman, with pretty much no chance of catching smallmouth? I also bought it for speck fishing/light tackle fishing for largemouth
Picked up a pack of the madbite ewg neds. I’ve seen a few others say the same and was wondering if anyone else thinks the head is really close and doesn’t leave enough room to get your plastic centered up right? Believe it or not I’m really new to using the Ned and never used one with ewg. Am I just rigging wrong?
I dont like ned rigs because all of the ponds by me have algea 2 ft thick on the bottom and they dont work. When i change to a texas rigged senko it works rite away.also a craw a swimbait yep its wierd but i never caught a fish on a ned rig trd. But caught them on everthing else
Any promo codes? It's definitely a pricey box when customizing the C15 with 1x1s and 1x2. $64.70 is a bit too steep for a box. but I do like the setup.
Have you used the ned rig yet? Let me know if these tips help!
Yes they help!!! What up Paul!!!
Freaking smashed the Amazon purchase!

It’s been great to see how different weights/colors work and change the action! I stowed everything in a Plano Edge (3600).
Awesome deal. Thanks so much. Searched “madbite ned kit”. Bought ewg and original. Had to do 2 different orders to get discount
Tip for ewg hook. Bend the hook point up and out a bit. Improves hook ups

I ordered the same kit, my only issue was the hooks aren’t very sharp. definitely investing in a hook sharpener.

Kastking Ned rig kit by Madbites gotta luv it lol 🤙🏾🤙🏾
Check out the Strike King 3X super finesse worm. I believe they are elaztech as well. Saw them a few weeks ago and they seem pretty solid.
This was a fantastic how-to video on what to buy, how to use, where to use, and your specific rigs. Thanks for great content!

Burly fishing beat show hands down
Thanks to you, I kept trying the Ned rig and now it's one of my go to rigs and it's caught me 90% of all my catches this year!
Nice!

Great, and timely, update! Managed to snag a pack on sale to replace the ones I lost early today fishing.
Hey Jeff this is Moe Moses I came over from Monster Bass love your videos very helpful buddy.
Awesome! Thanks for stopping by! Happy to help!
Thanks for the tip, bought the ned rig kit on Amazon!!
I love that idea Table talk. What about tackle talk?
My goodness, you gotta be on the Great Lakes with all those spoons on the wall!
I've been using the ewg ned hook for a while absolutely worth it!!
Watched the video and ordered the EWG kit before work.
ned rig is one of my go to baits
Bought my Madbite kit as I watched! They ought to sponsor you!
good idea, lol...
I bought myself two kits the regular and ewg
The ned rig master lol
Nice job 👏 brother !!!
Watch the MadBite bladed jigs, they're cheap for a reason. They come 5 to a box, and they are very small. Those ned rigs look decent though.

i got the salamanders and fishing them up north next week
@@googanslayer6675 Yeah I want to get the salamanders to try next. They look awesome.
I have seen that madbite also sell bladed jigs. I am going to try there stuff out. I have been looking at there stuff for a while
I was looking at those too. But then I saw how the blade is held on. Looks like it will come off. Let us know how they are if you get them!
Burly! I love the vid. You make my day every time!
💯🙌

What your go to rod and reel?
For neds? I mentioned my two set ups in this video. Okuma Cerros with Okuma Inspira reel.
Great video!! But when you getting your hats into your store!? Lol want to buy your black and grey burly hat!😁
We sell them through monsterbass.com
@@aaanglers thank you!!! But unfortunately do they don’t don’t ship to Canada.
do you use those texas rig jig heads with your light spinning set up?
YUP!
You should try the zman trick shotz, both sizes work amazing as a ned rig bait!
I have some, definitely dig them
I’m wanting a summer hoody

It is smaller, but I haven’t had that issue rigging. Just hook it a little shallower than you would think

I mean on just the trd ..i caught them on a goat ned rig and mini creature bait z-man but i still cant use them in my ponds
Has anyone stored Elaztech baits in Plano Edge boxes? Do they react with the box?
I have and it holds up fine
What size is that buzbe box? I really like that set up
Its a 3600 size
@@aaanglers thanks bub. Love the videos. Keep it up
When would you give away any lures ? Like to always try new stuff...I pay for shipping 🚢
I do giveaways monthly
@@aaanglers cool 😎I will watch all your videos 📹😀from now on.i love 🎣
Any specific time for the videos ? Or random time ?
Would u recommend these for someone that needs to get Ned rigging
Theyre not bad, but i would invest a little more into zman ned lockz over these
Did you try to rig one of those ewg neg hooks they look like there’s no room from the weight to the hook
I have used them now. They rig fine, the space works
@@aaanglers thanks man bout to put my order in
What knot do you use to attach your leader line?
Alberto knot
@@aaanglers thanks love your content I'm from Michigan myself in the Houghton lake area.

Hell yes
Hell gaw mite
I'm convinced there's no bass where I fish so I don't think a Ned rig would work 😂😂
Ned rig will catch all species. I catch 8inch creek chubs on them
Just caught two bass on Ned rigs this weekend. First time ever catching anything on a ned. I'm addicted to using them now!
I'm always catching blue gill on them out of my pond. They seem to love to coppertruce zman.
@@bassmedic I got my two on the hot snake color and green pumpkin color.
I haven't been able to throw a Ned rig more than 4 times before losing it
Snagged or bit off? Try burying the hook instead of texposing it. Tie a palomar knot too. I almost never lose my neds even in the river
@@aaanglers that's my go to knot. I got some NedlockZ and they just seem to get snagged anywhere I throw them. I'll have to try some offset heads
The Ned gets em off the bed. For sure.
