It's now crazy to me to see people who don't know ANYTHING Star Wars, to be asked about it only to reply with "who's that or what's that".... I literally laugh at them because they remind me of how CLUELESS my sister and I once were.

Jim Carrey has done for Dr Robotnik what Robert Downey Jr did for Tony Stark. Set him in stone as a live-action character, indisputably. Every Joker's got their fans who say 'No, THIS is the real Joker portrayal, none of the others hold true'...no one's going to argue about that for Iron Man, and no one's gonna do it for Robotnik now.
Even the dudes at Paramount have said as much, refusing to recast Jim Carrey, but keeping the door open for him if he ever wants to return. You've gotta love it. Something that I think is fun is how Jim Carrey here plays Robotnik, and now we've got Jack Black playing Bowser. Two of the funniest men in modern media, playing and NAILING the roles of the most iconic video game villains of all time.

Juice WRLD made a song (Keep Up) specifically for this movie but he passed away and then his label demanded way too much money for the track to be in the movie so it didn’t make it. it wouldve been beautiful
