While this is a decent start, I do hope you watch Sonic 2. I think the stigma behind videogame movies coupled with the awful reception of the first Sonic CG model kind of led to them playing it a bit safe. Sonic 2 really brings characters and elements from the games to what we are now calling the cinematic universe (because this is like the 5th origin story for sonic) and gets rather hyped. This was a brilliant starting point, especially with all the twitter shenanigans when this first come out (if you haven't heard of Sonic vs birds of Prey..... seriously go look up some videos. What I don't get about this movie is HOW did they make such a fun script for the movie, execute it so well, and then for no reason they butchered the cgi models?? I know they didn't pull a publicity stunt cause they threw a lot of money for the rework but Damn how the movie would be worse just because of the model...

46:48 poor home owner lady
I have mixed feelings
50:11 surprised y’all missed or didn’t comment on them catching up to present day
I dreamed of a Sonic the Hedgehog movie when i was seven years old. And no matter how many times i watch it, i still kinda feel that seven year old cheering that it finally happened.
I know it's not held in quite as high a regard as the Sonic duology, but I'd love to see you guys react to and share your thoughts on the Detective Pikachu film
Not To Dectetive Pikachu After To Legend Of The Guardians The Owls Of Ga'Hoole

ok, we got:
Sonic 1
Sonic 2
Sonic CD
Sonic 3 & Knuckles
Sonic Adventure
Sonic Adventure 2
Sonic Riders
Sonic Heroes
Sonic Advance 1
Sonic Advance 2
Sonic Advance 3

Sonic Rush Adventure

Sonic Frontiers
(and I think we all know Sonic Superstars is going to be really good lmao)
Jim Carrey is also doing sonic 3 in November 1 2024 if you guys didn’t know that’ll be his last movie he’s doing
LOL when ya'll froze I was like "Man, Boom is holdin that smile-" 😂😂
It makes me really happy that Ruff likes Sonic
Thx for the reaction
I always love the mime scene in this.
The sonic before the backlash looked like either somebody in a mascot uniform or sonic as a drug addic.🤣
I'm really glad the producers took the time to redesign Sonic from the monstrosity they had before. I also really love the casting of Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik.
Sonic the hedgehog: gotta go CRY
39:55 This part of the movie, Ben Schwartz sounds so much like Jason Griffith!
I was there for the Twitter Revolution, that was wild _AND_ it released just before the pandemic went full=force
This is my comfort movie, I love it so much! I hope you guys react to the second one soon!
Knowing this Sonic and Dewey have the same VA is so funny to me and i don't know why
Aww man! Just wait till the Mario Bros. movie comes out!
That VA of Sonic also played a character that's a ninja.
It's HILARIOUS)
54:35
I wanna believe that the drawing the power thing is a play on
the Lightning Power up from the games
I think if I remember correctly they wanted to make sonic more realistic or something like that
Man the times when this movie was made were insane with the original designs and stuff 😂
What I don't get about this movie is HOW did they make such a fun script for the movie, execute it so well, and then for no reason they butchered the cgi models?? I know they didn't pull a publicity stunt cause they threw a lot of money for the rework but Damn how the movie would be worse just because of the model...
18:20 you’ve been outsmarted HES IN THE THRID
Steve Urkel actor Jaleel White voiced Sonic in the 90's animated shows Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic SatAm and Sonic Underground
3:20 Yes, they are Echindas.
Saddest thing abt this is that the animation studio went out of business in order to fix how Sonic looked
I was not expecting this to be a good movie... then I watched it.
Much better than I hoped.
GREAT GROUP REACTION - TO SONIC THE HEDGEHOG (2020 ) FILM !!!
51:50 bro used his batman voice 😂
In the comics sonic has the ability to drain energy or I guess syphon it and when he goes super sonic in the coming he can basically destroy the universe if he wanted to he can also manipulate time and space
