Interesting to note is that they seem to be adding back a cut content feature from subnautica back into this game. The transfuser was meant for the player to use DNA they would take from creatures and use that to enhance themselfs. Speed, strength and etc. In below zero it was meant to be used in the old story where you would collect a sample of your DNA and send it to the vesper station for analysis. Im purely going off by the Steam description alone here. A lot of signs pointing towards DNA alteration tech being a major gameplay mechanic.
~ I'm so happy that you'll be covering the game progress once again when 2 is released in early access. 😊 Your coverage of Below Zero was awesome, exciting, and fun to follow! Can't wait for your insightful and entertaining coverage of the next adventure!! ❤
Been following subnautica since it was just the concept and a few fish. I love seeing how far it’s come. I’m kinda hoping it’s a new world and a new mystery instead of precursors. Their reveal in the first game is part of what made it special. If they are the big mystery in this one, I hope it has some great story telling to make up for the repetitiveness
@@1UpNerdcore for me, it feels like they are trying a little bit too much? LOT of color, weird vehicle, the hand jets thing? it's like it is forbidden to do anything like the first one. BUT, what worries me the most it's the "up to 4 player", how can you write a meaningful story that can be progressed like in the first games with 4 people for example? you know what I mean? unless the multiplayer is for a sandbox type thing and not the main story, it's limiting on what you can do with the story as a developer. we will see
They could take multiple routes on multiplayer with story being 2 people only and 4 people being a fun sandbox thing. Not sure yet. I think they want to expand upon what’s been done before but people would complain if it was just the same exact things from the first game. Keep what’s good and try new things in areas that they got feedback on.
@@Jokalido So a natural world is not colorful ? How exactly is the vehicle weird ? What's wrong with the hand jets ? You mention all these things yet bring no real constructive criticism. I get people liked Subnautica, but take the rose tinted nostalgia glasses off and give proper feedback, not trying to be aggressive or anything, I simply dislike when people complain without formulating a proper debate. It makes it look like complaining just to complain. We have yet to see what the game offers, and it's all early access, which means the game is going through development live in front of our eyes, people can give feedback at a moments notice and they can adapt accordingly which was what people loved about the development of these games.
@@Jokalido Multiplayer is a separate mode to the single player experience and I agree with Leo in the fact you seem to have rose tinted glasses, this is Subnautica 2 not a Subnautica remake. Colour is a huge part of the natural world everywhere you look, there will probably be a lot of dark areas to explore as well so I wouldn't worry too much, if anything colour just adds to the diversity and unique aesthetic of biomes.
Most likely something to do with how Below Zero was its own separate story line that was on the same planet, but not connected to the first game story wise. Maybe this means the story from Subnautica 2 will connect back to the first game? 🤔
@@kolache. Not really how that works, and also BZ is connected to Subnautica, it's directly connected, it's simply an expansion, this game is part of the same series and universe, but it's own stand alone story, it's not on the same planet, that was already confirmed.
Different world, different creatures, different characters, different vehicles, what would be like below zero? We have multiplayer now and unreal engine 5

Man those screenshots got me SO AMPED for this game! Multiplayer is gonna be a GAME CHANGER for sure!
The level of detail using UE5 is crazy!
I'm pretty sure the devs have confirmed, we're no longer on 4546B
I remember watching your vids for BZ, its gonna be great again!❤🎉

we are so back baby
We are backkkk
Nice Video mate!
FYI - Its confirmed SN2 will not take place on 4546b.
Yea I remember talking with Donya about that after I published the video. Skipped my mind during recording 🤦🏽♂️
apparently it's a new planet

Looking at the specs of the game I am surprised how much the CPU and RAM has increased over the GPU
Good thing to cover in a video so I’ll take note of that 👍🏻
it's 4 player co-op apparently
Hopefully up to 4 players at least
yup, co-op is 1-4 players
I really hope this isn’t going to be 2-3 years early access, like Subnautica.
Most early access games take that long or longer
@@1UpNerdcore Oh ok, well I’ll enjoy watching the game take shape until release. Thank you. 😊
SWEEEEEET!!!
Wonder if they dropped co-op from 4 players to 2?
Articles are saying 4 player co op
IDK man, getting BZ vibes (not in the good way) hope for the best 🤞
I don’t get that at all. Feels more subnautica 1. What’s makes it feel like BZ?

So they not calling it subnautica 3
Below zero started as DLC and turned into an expansion but not full fledged games from what the devs have said.

im sure bro never played below zero😂, this is not a new vehicle and thos 2 characters aren't new either
I’m in the credits of below zero
This is scraped vehicle but new to being actually in a game
Just looks like more below zero quality garbage fail...
