Love the build out on the truck.
Marketplace is great for anyone getting out there for the first time
Thank you! I’ve definitely found some great deals on lots of stuff on marketplace!
Love that this is also your daily. I'm about to buy one and will also be my daily as well as an overlander here in Colombia.
Hopefully I was able to give you some ideas!
@@Upnorth_overland yes, especially the lower rack for the tent
Grat set up. Thank you for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed! Hopefully you got some ideas.
Thanks for sharing your video
I hope you liked it! What was your favorite mod?
It’s practical and I appreciate that. Who makes the running boards you’ve got?
Go Rhino
Great video and thanks for making brother! New sub here.
Not quite the (IMO) "ultimate" silverado overlanding build but a good overview of having everything you need without throwing insane $$ at it. Can definitely spend some days confortably in the wild with everything you have.
Quick safety suggestion, if the roll top tonneau isn't focused on being watertight (your words), I'd get the ecoflow better protected in some sort of an enclosure and away from the bed rails.
another suggestion, can you itemize the list of the parts and kit that you run through? I hit your amazon link but it doesn't have everything.
🍻
Another great video. 👍 what made you go with a Trail Boss for your vehicle? You ever do trips up to Canada. BC has some of the best mountains
I actually got this before I was interested in overlanding. I got it in May of 2020 and chose Chevy because they were the most affordable at the time. I chose the trail boss model because I wanted to get more into off-roading, I love how it looks, and I couldn’t afford a raptor 😂 overall I’m happy with my decision.
I have not been overlanding in Canada, they do have some great skiing though!
Great video man! Sorry if I missed this, did you end up doing a level kit to fit the 33’s ?
I did not and the 33” fit very well. After this video, I put the Bilstein suspension on and that’s a 1.2” level. When it comes time to replace these tires I’m going to 35s.
@@Upnorth_overland appreciate the information man!
What state do u live in. I noticed the shirt looks like it’s
From Smokey mountains and I live in TN about a hr north of there
I live in Ohio right now. The shirt is actually from Old Navy and this was the last time I wore it actually. Shortly after this was filmed I dropped a piece of my steak and stained it badly.
what bed rack is that?
Xtrusion Overland XBRS
Did you get that shirt from old navy?
Sure did!
@@Upnorth_overland ha almost that shirt lol
A g80 is a true locker and it's an Eaton sir!!!😅
Ehhhhhhhhhhhh… I’m not a fan. I would much rather have something that I can lock in and not have to rely on spinning my tires for it to engage. I have not found it to be very predictable, and it can be violent when it finally does engage. Not to mention I always find myself sliding sideways as I spin my tires. Luckily I haven’t run into or fallen off of anything but I can definitely see that happening when you are waiting for the locker to engage.
how do you get your bed rack to work with your tonneau cover?
Can you be more specific?
@@Upnorth_overland im tryin to build out my truck similarly to yours with the bed rack and tonneau cover so that i cant take my bed rack on and off as needed while still having the ability to use my bed cover regardless of having a bed rack mounted or not and it looked like to me thats how it looked for your vehicle and wanted to know how you were able to do that
@@Upnorth_overland like does the mounting rail have some type of mounting point or system you can mount the rack on or did you have to modify the side rail itself?
I just put a couple videos on my instagram story going through it. If that doesn’t answer your question, send me a DM and I will get more specific.
@@Upnorth_overland thanks bud
Don’t you need to be licensed to operate on gmrs?
There is a fee the fcc charges to use the system that they do nothing to maintain, There is no test involved, and your payment is good for 10 years.
You need to buy some camo spray paint just in case shtf
You say that like I don’t already have it…
