How do people even find these speedrun glitches? The only glitches I ever found were useless. For example, in Sly 2 in Black Chateau, there's a sink in the hallway towards the water pump where if you stand on it and run towards the wall, you'll clip through and fall endlessly in darkness. Why I was doing that exact action is beyond my current level of understanding, but those are the glitches I somehow find.

I think the reason so many people wanna get the new ps5 immediately is the anticipation of the new games it will get (which is exacerbated by how much more hype the ps5 built up and how lacking the Xbox seemed in their potential for a stacked library of game)
Mz Ruby has 4 points of health, one for each phase. When we jump out of bounds on the first phase, we skip the cutscene and respawn on the turtle. The game assumes that we've hit her and she now has 3 points of health. We ride the turtle and hit her once more, leaving her on 2 points of health. On the last phase, we can perform a double hit, which is essentially just spamming square to get Sly to do a quick double cane swing animation. This attack hits twice because her hitbox lingers for a bit. I load the game at the same time to also skip the after-boss cutscene.

It's known as a proxy. Sly gets stuck in a tight space and the game launches him out so he isn't permanently stuck there.
