trust me, you don’t. i am 13 years old, a type 1 diabetic. i got my diabetes at 8 years old, and ever since then, my life has been.. basically fucked. i’m currently having a diabetic burn out - i’m not doing any of my insulin. my blood sugar is always high, which makes me moody 24/7, and it fucking sucks. i now have a social worker, and i’m in hospital from wednesday-saturday. at one point i had no control of my life, due to me being hospitalised. i can’t say that this is for everyone, but most of people my age; it really happens like this. every diabetic is different.

Diabetes Type 1 is actually a chronic illness that you almost only get in your younger years (it’s very rare that you get type 1 at an older age). The type 2 diabetes is the one you get at an older age but that’s actually very different to type 1. even though i don't have diabetes i would love to see how you handle it as a "day in the life of a diabetic" just so that I guess I can have a bit more motivation, it would also remind me to do things every day which will help me in the future.
When you said you had to give a presentation to your class when you where in elementary school it bought back memories for me. I have hearing loss and its not that significant that you would notice at first hand. As a child I had a special hearing person come to my class every so often. She would bring this really cool big model ear and teach my class about my hearing disability and what its like for me. This helped a lot as my classmates would understand and know how to react around me if I had issues hearing. A lot of kids where in my class 3 years in a row and all talked about how exciting it was for the women to come and bring the model ear. Each child could take out pieces of the ear model out and learn a lot about the ear and hearing itself.

omg girlll I'm soo happy you made a video about this. I also have type 1 diabetes and I don't know anyone around me who has diabetes, so this video helped me not to feel so alone. It's like I have someone who can relate to my struggles and talk to about this. Love youuuuu
when Sadie post two Tiktoks and a RUclips video in one day 😁
The beginning is so aesthetically pleasing
Never been this early all for the queen
It's crazy how each diabetic is different! I have been able to eat anything and everything I've wanted since I've been type one diabetic. I've had it for 8 years now and I've never really had problems with A1C but I know that some diabetics really struggle with it. But Yes I love the diabetic content!!
POV: you get a notification from sadie and ofc you click it 🤠
I can't belive I'm watching a girl my age with type 1 diabetes. I also had diabetes when I was 3 years old. Sometimes I can't explain how important is my health to others and I looooveee this type of videos.
Hi
I'm a type 1 diabetic also. I found when I was five so I was terrified but now I'm fine. Your very strong and brave. 💖💫
I love youuuuuu❤️❤️❤️
I have been diabetic for 8 years now and I was told that I had a virus. That doctor almost killed me. As I was growing up my teachers didn't understand except one and it was difficult making friends and keeping them. You have showed me that I don't need peoples permission as I am now in grade 9 and this is a big year for me bc I have so much going on it is gonna take its toll on me and my levels. Thank you for being that friend I have never had
First one :)
second :)
Wait why does it say in first too... 😂🥲
Congratulations 🥳
*Idk if this sounds weird hehe, but I feel really lucky for your future kids. Like, you're so enthusiastic, so filled with energy and so inspirational, and not to add that U ARE ABSOLUTELY gorgeous. You've been a great inspiration for me(I'm 12) and I kinda think of u as my "RUclips big sister" lol cuz ur so motivational. Luv you Sadie❤️❤️*
OMG EARLYYY
even though i don't have diabetes i would love to see how you handle it as a "day in the life of a diabetic" just so that I guess I can have a bit more motivation, it would also remind me to do things every day which will help me in the future.
First 🥰

Sadie thank you for being so strong and brave to show us this side of you. I am so grateful to have found your channel love ❤️
Early
When you said you had to give a presentation to your class when you where in elementary school it bought back memories for me. I have hearing loss and its not that significant that you would notice at first hand. As a child I had a special hearing person come to my class every so often. She would bring this really cool big model ear and teach my class about my hearing disability and what its like for me. This helped a lot as my classmates would understand and know how to react around me if I had issues hearing. A lot of kids where in my class 3 years in a row and all talked about how exciting it was for the women to come and bring the model ear. Each child could take out pieces of the ear model out and learn a lot about the ear and hearing itself.
only the real ones know double arrow down ❤️ #dexcom

I really want u to make a day in a life of diabetes. (Got diabetes a month ago) It would really make me feel not as alone. Just this video I could relate to so MUCHHHHH!
I was just diagnosed 2 days before christmas with type 1 and it's been so difficult to learn about what I have to do and how to cope and manage with this huge life changing thing, so I thank you for making this video and I can't wait to see more videos like this because it's so nice seeing someone my age dealing with it so well :)
Tbh..I’ve had Type one Diabetes for about 6 years now, I would love for you to have more diabetic content.
Ur soo close to 1 million!!!! Im proud
i’m almost 17 and got diagnosed with diabetes when i was 12. and i just can’t get myself to be so strong and motivated about it. seeing how you live with it makes me wonder why i can’t live with it like that.
I totally agree with you, what you wrote is something that I would of wrote, stay strong bro and be positive! Somtimes you gotta learn to live with it.
I'm also T1D and I loooove this kind of videos. Or even a little chat in any of your vlogs talking about your glucose levels that day
I love that you’re making content about diabetes! I’ve been wanting to know more about your personal experience since I also have had type one for most of my life!
I’m genuinely happy that you posted this video Sadie. I’ve learned a lot from this and it brings so much awareness. Love you girl. Sending love from Toronto 🇨🇦
I turned 18 last year and was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. And my blood sugar was so high that I was so close to having an attack. I just found out about Sadie and I am so inspired and motivated to just live my life since you don't really know what's going to happen to you having a diabetes. And I LOVE YOU ❤️❤️😘
no don't worry about what other people say or think bc that is who u r I know I want to change that just be you and there's nothing wrong with having diabetes because I have it as well and k understand the struggle 🥺🥺
I also have type one and this makes me so happy because there isn’t much representation for diabetes in social media. Thank you❤️❤️
I am also diabetic, I got diagnosed when I was 2 years old and I am now 18! I understand everything you sayyyy!!🥺❤️
I'm a medical student... I used to hate this disease.. the drugs and doses 🤕😵😩😩😩 ..but because of you I'm more than intereste to know all of thing about it ... because I love you u made me love it 😅❤
My best friend has diabetes and I support her a lot and care for her so much and I just don't want anything to happen to her EVER. So, can you make a video about how other people could be aware and take care o their loved once with diabetes and what to say and what not to say to them? Pleaseeeeee
I have type 1 diabetes I was diagnosed with it when I was at 4th grade and right now I’m at the 11th grade my confidence really went down when I got diagnosed with it especially that I have a twin sister although I can do everything from eating to exercising but just the different treatment that she has I just felt peathic because people pitied me and I still face confidence problems with my life I even don’t take care of my blood sugar at all because I became tired of it which is REAlly bad but just seeing you here talking about it so naturally and seeing that you lived with it is so encouraging I really really thank you for that you are an amazing person
I wrote a lot I’m sorry lol but I just wanted to say all this since I was at 4th grade I really wanna start talking care of my blood sugar although I don’t even know how
same girl, I am such a BIG people pleaser, I feel so freaking bad and I feel hurt saying “no” to people
I have PCOS, because of that I have been teetering over & under the line for type 2 diabetes for years.. even though they’re not the same, the fears of the eye sight & limbs, etc. is so scary! I felt you on that because I’m only 22, so being so young with such a higher risk because of health issues is so hard! You are an inspiration & even though we don’t have the same type, I felt so good watching this & knowing someone my age understands 💗
