Growing up I remember the black locusts in the yard. The flowers they produced smelled heavenly. Sleeping at night with the windows open and the scent of the locust blooms made you drift off to sleep happy. I miss that house!

I love your clips and have been a very loyal follower for a couple years, now. We love watching the animals and I can escape from my loneliness. My husband would watch before he passed away. I remember helping my grandpa milk the cows.

Can't get over how tall the grass is, I don't remember that from years before. Lots of flies, guessing it's time for the tape. Pigs are growing like weeds,lol, amazing. While you were swatting at all those flies, all I could think of is one of those old cartoon beanie hats with a propeller on top.. but with fly swatters instead.

I absolutely love your relationship with your guardian livestock dogs-- I’ve seen some other farmers that seem to have no control over their dogs at all. They even seem kind of afraid to discipline them. Your dogs are fantastic!

I do enjoy the videos where you talk more about the farm and updates than these quiet no commentary ones but i do get that not every day on the farm has things to talk about.

This is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE! I totally love when you're storytelling, but these quieter ones really give us such a wonderful sense of your farm and you as a farmer. When Astrid was approaching the camera, I got an instant sense memory of hanging out with cattle and horses as a kid over the summer at my grandparents farm. I'm so happy now. ❤❤❤
