No one talking about that 16 year old who volunteered he was a real one
nah it was easy for him bc he was abt to ar-15 his classmates
He volunteered twice so he didn't have to kill anyone and so he could give everyone a better chance to live.
oh yeah, scott
His name was Shawn

Respect to the Hispanic dude who didn't even hesitate when it came down to him and the little girl
He was a real one 😤

Just noticed that the Asian kid could’ve just shut up, not told anyone how to vote, voted himself and would’ve survived.
True, although someone may have also figured it out
@@klillym1461 yes I think eventually the others would've figured out what was happening. If anything Asian kid telling them how it works shows he's smart enough to keep around and willing to share that information with the others for their own safety.
Bro I just literally just thought that😂😂
Nekonomicon they never would’ve figured that out if he says nothing they would’ve just thought it was random
Jay i don’t think so, for a game that took 100 minutes maximum with 50 people and on a game of life and death, some would realize that Asian kid moving his hand, holding it and coincidentally at that direction is someone got shot next, some will point out and people like Eric and those who take this opportunity to test it, making the Asian kid the most vulnerable the next round

Yea
Honestly, why would they get so worked up about it..if only one person could survive, your chances aren’t as likely depending on your age, race, religion, criminal history if there is one, probably even the way you look, your sexuality. This move just brought out how judgmental people are and how it’s killing us, this could very much be related to real life events.

On god, I was laughing when he just glance at the person next to him died. He was probably just chilling.😂😂😭😭
I think he knows he was going to die no matter what happen since obviously he will never choose himself over a kid or pregnant lady. That’s probably why he chose to kill himself.
Although he didn’t know the manipulative guy at the end lied to him but at least he died not knowing that. He probably thought that at least someone will allow the child and pregnant lady choose at the end.🤷🏾♂️
I started laughing even harder when I thought bro what if this dude is deaf
WAs anyone else left with their jaw literally dropped at the guy tricking the little girl and the pregnant women? Genuinely shocked.

As heartless as the ending seemed. Imagine this. Dude dies like he was suggesting, and the little girl stepped out and died. Leaving only the pregnant lady. The light comes on again hovering over her. The game forcing her to choose between her life and her own unborn baby's life. It can always be worse folks.
That was probably the best twist in the movie, personally, I think he had good intentions at the start, but when the situation got more dire, he chouse better them then me. I think this since his hand was shaking in the final vote. And he kinda looked like he regretted his actions in the ending when he met up with the other survivors
@@doctorbleh4110 i found one comment stating that the reason why the unborn baby counts is because when the women fell, she lied on top of one of the circles which detects life symptoms (heart rate etc?). So essentially if everyone died she could go free. This explains why in the end there were plenty of pregnant women (if they were counted as 2 people they'd be all dead hey?)
I know right? I was watching this with the fam and all of us were just shocked.

Or put all the winners from other circles against eachother in a new one, with everyone already knowing the rules. Circle 2 Electric Boogaloo
@@coop6515 I really thought he was gonna wake up in another Circle, with entirely new people (The Winners) but with NO MEMORY of the previous game. Would they make the same choices again? If there are 6 little girls, how do you decide? If there are 6 pregnant women, how do you decide?
Wouldn't that kinda go against the whole message that the most selfish people are, unfortunately, the ones best off in the world?

My best hope is that the good people who lose this game get their brain harvested and put in a new body by the Aliens in order to have a human representative to aid them in their efforts. I know I'd embrace aliens fundamentally smashing the status quo.

If only the Asian guy had the manipulative nature of Luke, he wouldn't have told any anyone how to vote, he would've just killed everyone, including Luke, outsmart them all and take the chicken dinner.
Is surviving this game even actually winning though? A coward dies a thousand times before his death
Con Fidential depends on ur morals and how much u care
He Thirst think that it can help to get out of there
Hollywood wont let him live
I think the group wouldve figured it out..but just not quite as soon..mistake on his part..
You missed one thing though at the end you can see that when he joins the other people they are mostly pregnant women and kids. This means that most of the games ended with people who had morals and didn’t throw them out the window. So I don’t think it was survival of the fittest.
Yeah he seems to do that quite a bit. Sometimes it's something small. Sometimes it's something that changes the meaning of a scene or film.
Theres also a couple holding hands in the end ??? Wtf
Actually we don't know how many games there were, so there's no saying if that's all the survivors. We can't even tell if all the women are pregnant. Women can be like Luke and trick others for their survival. I feel at least half of those people are ambiguous whether they tricked others or not. So it shows that the games had a mix of both good people winning and bad people winning.
Anthony Nguyen I can understand that but the guy in the video made it seem like everyone just threw their morals out the window and wanted the strongest of mankind to live. I also believe since they didn’t know what was going on when the game first started nobody could really fake a pregnancy and they were visibly pregnant but your right anything could happen in other games.
@@blackhoudini7070 Well actually it makes sense that we would want some of the strongest to live because they can fight back against the aliens who are hostile and rebuild society because we have leaders. It's actually a very moral choice to pick Army men or police officer who are combat trained and ready to fight and lead.
One interesting thing is that since the "winner" knew that one guy was skipping votes every round means he had to offset the votes by either skipping or voting against his own team to rig the game the entire time they were divided into teams.
I hadn't though of that, holy crap. Really puts his plan much much further back than I had thought.
The main not voting does raise another question: If everyone had voted for the person next to them properly in the beginning, given that The Guy doesn't vote, that means that everyone would have tied but him. I feel like he might have been outted a lot sooner if that plan had worked.
@@isaacgruver7061 Almost, he would have still tied because he would have been voted for, it's the person to his right that would not have tied, I guess it would be possible for some people to figure out he wasn't voting but I have a feeling that in the commotion while everyone else had a spotlight over them most people would be too panicked to notice one person not having a spotlight.
Why? So he could make it seem like the voting was closer than appeared?
@@DeadEndScreamer I consider what you said to be one of the big take aways of this movie. "Say nothing do nothing be nothing" yk?
To me the end him killing the baby, hinted at a really sad possible other ending, where the pregnant lady is the one chosen to live, then she has to kill her baby to live.
This is what I thought too! I was also thinking that even though Luke made some bad choices prior, killing the unborn baby was probably the best thing in the end, because how the hell would the literal fetus survive just being dropped down back to the city? Would it be dropped down within the womb of the lady? Would it be teleported from the womb? Would it survive the shock of being born without preparation?
@@Jabberwocky7890 These are the important questions.
Better for her to go to heaven with her unborn child than traumatized to kill it for a few more years of survival(i dont think a mother like her would be mentally stable being forced to kill her chold)
Well at the ending, you can see that there are other pregnant women who survived the game, so that may not have happened
No it wouldn’t have happened because you can’t vote for yourself
Imagine everyone that got zapped just got knocked out and were put back into the world and this was just an experiment

This movie has taught me one thing: circles are truly the most evil of shapes
So true! Ever heard of preachers and such using a logical fallacy that's circular. For you see, one of the strongest shapes in nature is a circle; if they make their arguments using circular reasoning they can believe anything. Ex: The Bible is true because the Bible says it's true, and it's true because it's the word of God and we know it's the word of God because the Bible is true; because the Bible says it's true and so on. Same with most religious text haha.

Actually? I think thats actually precisely what happened....but hear me out.
No one was able to actually leave their circle they were standing on and when someone was eliminated they were eliminated by the alien technology and no one could really have an opportunity to investigate their bodies more closely before they were removed. I think the technology wasn't actually doing what they make it look like its doing. I mean if you want to kill people off as a means for "population" control? There are certainly more efficient ways of doing it rather than have them go through this insanity. There is also the fact that its fairly obvious that the aliens are capable of seeing whats going on and understanding their responses.
I think this was after all a test to see what Human beings would do under such a pressured environment. Would they descend to their baser impulses or would they ascend to protect the most vulnerable as long as possible. Since we only got to see the last 'survivor' for a few brief moments we have no reason to presume anything as to why he among others were apparently put back on Earth together in that location, but I am supposing that if their invididual locality, which ship they are on and their return to the ground has no bearance on it then perhaps those who were "killed" (though no really dead) during the test were disseminated similarly based on the nature of their actions during the test.
Its entirely possible when we see The Last Test Subject standing there with others it could be quite possible that He and the others with him have been returned to Earth because they didnt "Pass the Test" sufficiently. I am aware there was a pregnant lady there and a couple of kids and a smattering of other types but in the long run psychopathy, cruelty, self-preservation at the cost of anyone else is not necessarily limited to just guys like him. A kid could have chosen to kill the last other person or betray them. The pregnant ladies on the ground could have been just as self-serving. Their being pregnant doesnt just automatically make them "Good People".

The fact that he manipulated a child into sacrificing herself in an act of deceitful self preservation was probably worse.

@Brittany Quast From what I remember, the cousin was just a teenager too.
@Brittany Quast You should. They're humans. Not all crime is equal and there are victimless crimes. Criminals are people just like everyone else.
The cousin was the teenager and he was shot by a pig like you, so not that exact cop, just a cop
@Brittany Quast Then you have a warped viewpoint of how crime works and how someone that young gets into a life of crime

@wikwok bingbong
You'd think so, but at this point I've seen more than one sci-fi death totally discintigrate a person -- in one case down to a pile of ash -- and they were totally fine afterwards. It really just comes down to whether the aliens want to kill people, or just to trick and study them.
I feel like saying humans are inherently selfish is the wrong take - dozens of people sacrificed themselves and tried to protect other people throughout the movie. Just because they didn't survive doesn't lessen their attempts to be good
It however does have the cynical message that such hero's are forgotten or used as propaganda
It's just like real life, the best people are the ones who end up dying in extreme situations.
I think this is actually a flaw with life in general, think about it. These selfless people help humanity as a whole survive, but only the ones who survive pass on genes and thrive.
GameDogReiku so could someone explain to me why the black guy is “usually” likeable, and die in the most annoying way?
@@GameDogLeader21 a flaw? sounds more like a feature. think about it. 2 selfish people in a life/death scenario and they only help themselves/hinder the other, resulting in both dying and no genes being passed.
selfless guy and selfish guy in life/death scenario, selfless guy sacrifices himself = genes get passed on.
pretty smart from a genetics perspective. maybe the only reason we even exist is because our species was preserved by millions of selfless apes
As they say you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.
But you are right. Lots of good people in that killing game.
Gotta be honest, I loved the twist at the end, I never would have guessed it, he was always looking out for them just to backstab them in the top 3, then when he wakes up he sees that he was right, the pregnant women and children mostly won the other circles
Same. I was rooting for him actually.
Though I didn't know who was going to win I had a pretty good feeling it wasn't going to be the girl or the pregnant woman, that would have been WAAAAY too obvious. I did expect them to last towards the end as they did because the go...well maybe not good but better people probably weren't going to vote for either but considering this was always a commentary on society it was pretty clear whoever was the most ruthless was the one who would survive. I just didn't guess it was him until it was just him and them and then it was like "Well how's he going to change this?"
There were 15 survivors counting him and only 40% were children and pregnant women
@@yellowlemon8765 Rooting for him??? Huh. Someone that has 0 morals, justice and values? But then again this movie proves evil people like you exist that would be so selfish to choose yourselves with no understanding of honor & sacrifice for others. It is what it is
@@coochmcgooch420 That's still a high percentage, at least based on the game we saw, which only had 2 kids and 1 (obviously) pregnant woman in it. On average there should have been at least a dozen kids, so we have to wonder about that. It would suggest to me that people were just being grabbed from narrow areas, so a different ship might have mostly kids and few adults if it was near a school. Likewise pregnant women might be more common in hospitals, dr. offices, or support groups, but otherwise pretty scarce. I can't help wondering if the adult/kid ratio were reversed, would you have a group of kids trying to protect the adults?
Bro this shit is stressful, I'd just walk off the circle rather than spend more time around those people
Exactly, if I’m going to die, why spend my last few minutes with a bunch of sore losers who are being judgmental as hell. UFOs will come next year. I mean perfect time for one. 👌
Most underrated comment of the year.
There is a theory that the establishment pushes alien invasion and sci-fi entertainment to slowly ease us into not being shocked when they reveal the truth. Yeah, the internet thinks of everything.
i like to the think the actionless man in a sense removed himself from the game, not giving in to an urge to live by voting, submitting to hopelessness by stepping off, or attempting to sacrifice himself (by stepping off) which would literally mean nothing in the end. he accepted the fact he was going to die and refused to even give the aliens a response to this. a protest of the twisted game in some form.

Yes this & The Platform
I’d love to see a sequel where all winners return and understand the game dynamics from the jump. I think it would make for ‘smarter’ players since each won their previous time and it would cause alliances and backstabbing like the reality show Survivor. There would be an interesting dynamic between the people wanting to chime in their opinion but not become a spokesman and draw too much attention to themselves as they’ve all seen how bad that can end.
Yeah that would be interesting to see but just like The Belko Experiment this works better as just one movie and not a fancies.
That would be even worse SJW playground than this movie.
Yeah, this could become like the Saw series which basically has the same premise every movie, but improved stuff.
Idk. I think this is best as a one off movie. The point was not to have teams and stuff, but rather to gain an insight to Human society.
There’s a manga called “As the Gods Will” it’s basically about some aliens making humans do schoolyard games but with a deadly twist to see how willing they are to survive and who’ll be the next god.
The "dead" are actually partying with the aliens while those on Earth are starving.
This made me feel better after watching the movie 😂
Why not?!
Everyone think, once someone is zapped they are dead. Maybe just stunned and get out out of the game and the winners are the toxic one's

You have to remember that these are extremely intelligent aliens. When you think about it like that, it would honestly make sense that they are all just knocked unconscious instead of killed. But that’s just a theory, a game theory.

There was blood coming out of the people who got “knocked out” so I’d try and win with manipulation.
