for about a year of my life I thought this movie was a dream because literally no one talks about it.
It’s been on Netflix forever but I never got brave enough to watch it. The cover pic is scary🤣
I've seen this movie so many years ago, and i completely forgot about it until this video popped up. I remember liking it. Its a simple film that has some really good moments in it.
Mandela effect vibes
Maybe cause no one heard of it
KillBash same too dude. I remember watching it about a year after it came out with my cousins and we were genuinely unsettled by it.
I can forgive the lying about cancer, the scare in the woods, the general antisocial behavior, and even a playful ax blow to the head. Dude is just looking for a friend. *But I absolutely draw the line at furry masks*
yeah i 100% agree its one thing to be a a mass murdering psychopath another to be a furry
Full furry suit is cool though just not mask😂
Edit: this is a joke
It's important to draw a line in the sand.
@@whisperingdorito1456 it was a joke
I don't know I'm kind of cool with the furry mask. I'd be pissed about everything he's done but if he had a furry mask... okay, I'll let you off the hook.
Why doesn't the sister report anything, Jesus Christ...
She Can’t report it she didn’t know where her brother was because they didn’t have a summer cabin and he didn’t rape her. He set everything up so that only the victims know and lies to them constantly so they can’t tell either.
@@Arkdragonman she knows his name, that's a fucking start
There are many times families choose to ignore the mental instability of their loved ones, and choose to wait until they get better or- kill somebody 🤷🏻♀️
In my opinion, he has no sister. He either murdered her or never had one. He gets his kicks out of building a connection with his victims, terrorizing them, then killing them. Who better to start with than your own family. He's probably been chasing that ecstasy since those initial killings. The "sister" phone call is all a part of the game, almost as if he's salting the meat like Pennywise. Basically it's tantric murder.
Why didnt he leave once he knew Joseph where he lived? I would have withdrew all my cash and drove acroos country until i damn near passed out checking into hotels paying with cash and a fake name if possible not telling a soul where i was going then getting a name change

The entire time I was watching this movie, I kept saying stuff like “Oh come on, I would _never_ do that!” It wasn’t until the very end of the movie that I realized: That’s the point. Aaron constantly tries to look for the good in “Josef,” despite everything that happens.
Maybe because deep down Aaron is just as lonely as Josef.

What is extremely unsettling is the fact that the film felt "too normal." This could very well be a real situation where a person gets involved with a neurotic, unhinged serial killer. The lack of whizz-bang special effects immerses the viewer into a situation that they really do not want to be in. The director is insanely talented 👏
Not sure if you are aware but the director is Patrick Brice who plays aaron in the film
And Patrick and Mark Road it together but despite that there's not even an actual script and most of the movie was actually completely improvised
I figured that might blow some people's minds Especially Yours as it's your comment, in case nobody knows that stuff. But yeah, makes the experience of the movie all that much better
@riverhenriques8855 wow are you serious? I didn't know that! Unbelievable talent on both their ends. That fact makes me love this movie even more. Thanks for sharing!!
@riverhenriques8855 Wow - the fact that parts of the film were improvised. That certainly added a new dimension of character to the cinematics and plot of the film. I haven't watched the second film yet, but it looks even creepier. Especially the part in the trailer where he is running and screaming at the woman with the knife, all with a "strobe light" effect.
Him scaring himself in the end is fucking hilarious
