This is one of the few times I completely agree with Penuel. What is ironic is that he was actually the one who hosted Rutendo when Rutendo was rubbishing black South Africans and claimed that the black people of South Africa are the poorest of all black people on the continent, which is not true because South Africa has the biggest and fastest growing black middle class on the continent, though much still has to be done to narrow the gap between the rich and the poor of all race groups in South Africa. Rutendo is an extremist who doesn't even view Julius Malema as a true Pan Africanist because he is not extreme enough for his liking. While I generally don't have a problem when black people are criticized and admonished to make use of the opportunities that they are presented with, what I simply cannot stand is unfair criticism even to the point of bashing them and calling them lazy, whether it is done by foreigners like Rutendo or by out of touch black South Africans who should know better. I am actually glad that Penuel is finally calling out Rutendo. The man is so obsessed with South Africa and what we do in our country. If only he could have that same energy and level of analysis for his own country. What a huge difference that would make. What amuses me is that suddenly there are so many non South Africans who are experts on South Africa and it's internal matters and are always ready to lecture South Africans about what they think we should and shouldn't be doing in our own country. The level of obsession with South Africa boggles the mind.

Penuel "is calling out Rutendo The Extremist South African hater, because SAns kept calling him out over his love for hostile foreigners instead of his people.

SA education sucks, you lack basic comprehension. Rutendo said SA blacks are poor because everything they own is on credit, they don't own any big items outright! And how is it these apartheidists have so much of a voice in shaping black opinion. Pathetic. Black SA its time to complete that revolution.

Not a fan of Penuel, he's too deep into the conspiracy theory forest.

people who decide to forgive does not have that moral authorithy to order others to forgive, and the coulured community have nothing to forgive with regards to the apartheid because they had some economic advantages compared to black people and to show that they really loved apartheid the NP won the western cape in 1994, so we won't be ordered to forgive wickedness

No dear, that is a common, popular misconception. Coloured people did not, in fact, have an advantage over all black people. There are 10 class groups in this country. Coloured people existed alongside black people down to LSM 9. The reason that coloured people acknowlege their RELATIVE privelge is because there is a LARGE contingency of black people who existed in LSM 10. Larger than anyone else. You said it yourself, "some" privelges. I will argue with you no further on this point but that is GROSS mischarqacterisation. Thanks for the inspiration for a new video though. The idea of "NOTHING TO FORGIVE" is patently false.

White people did make something of themselves primarily because education was the criteria. Everbody can have their own culture but without proper education and meritocracy it means nothing. Another aspect is that individuals are responsible for their own actions. This narrative of constantly blaming white South Africaners for previous generations misdemeanors without context for the concepts of the times must stop. it does not encourage dialogue of any kind. There is one factor you should research and it is this - those at the top of the economic ladder - even if you were to completely demolish all of their property and leave them destitute - they will rise to the top. One should ask why and the answer is - culture. That is the crucial difference. European, Asian and Indian cultures build their countries on education which in turn develops critical thinking skills and creativity. This constant victim narrative does nothing, serves nothing and produces nothing of any worth. All it does is widen the gap even further.

My channel never writes off the contributions of white people and I have videos in defense of white South Africans, however your perspective leaves out a heck of a lot of nuance. African countries invented education: Egypt, the kingsom of Mali etc. Musch of this has been written out of history, or relegated to the sidelines. "Until the lion learns to read and write the story must always be told from the perspective of the hunter." I am not just a proud African. I am Greek too, the culture which inspired all of Western Civilisation today. We had a deep respect for African cultures, and learned plenty from them.
