Great info. Wish I would've found this before ordering my new putter grip. But thankfully, by your description, I think I ended up with the grip that supposedly fits my style.
I used the 5.0 for a couple of years and really liked it. However recently chnged to arm locking which is working really well especially under pressure.
@@severimakela3141 I think I got better in my short putts but the lag putting i have gone down because theres less of a "feel" i guess but so far i do like it
@@agoodbogey yeah I'm really good in the "scoring range" now which is so important for my confidence. My lag putting hasn't really improved or gone worse. But I guess I never had that "feel" anyway lol.
@@severimakela3141 yes In the manageable range I feel confident. I also have a protype 2 ball from odyssey and I do better lag putting with that one but it’s a face balanced putter so my stroke doesn’t fit it well
I pretty much have that same putter with the 3.0 grip. First time out with it today and it didnt go so well. It might be too big. Ill give it more time and see.
This is actually considered cheating, you are not aloud to a flat part on your grips on any of your clubs except your putter. You can have the jumbo circle ones tho
I have a 3.0 and I love it
same here ! When I use putters with 1.0 I feel that I do not have as much control of my swing path as I do when I use my 3.0
I got the tour 1.0 for my Newport 2 no regrets 💯 satisfied

I just got the 5.0 and Im deciding if i should make the change to my scotty, i put farily well but maybe this can help my putting game a little
Haha yeah I’m thinking I should have gone smaller. I have the 5.0 as well. It’s still way better for me than the stock trip though.

I found a ping eye 52 putter with this grip at a thrift store and better I paid .99 cents
use the super stroke grip with the flat side up on your driver is fantastic,,,, all fairways hit (2.0)

@@peterwojcicki Cheating? Like people anchoring putters to their forearm?
Lol first 30 seconds couldn’t have been more on point
Do these grips come with the counter weights?
Sold separately I believe
Tried it and wasn't impressed. I prefer the pistol grip on my Ping Anser.
The worst grip ever created. Impossible to clean because they retain water. Once they are dirty they are worthless.
So no swapping grips you’d rather just bin your putter?
