I use the SuperStroke Traxion 2 on my Cobra Vintage Nova 40 and it works for me.
Excellent review of the putter grips, appreciate it.
Thanks for taking the time to say so Marcus, appreciate it.
Informed, personal opinion -- helpful. What you see the pros use is not enough.
Great Video! Thank you 🔥👏💪🫶
The Flatcat "Pistol" model is often overlooked and it is phenomenal. Better than the typical flatcat in this review, IMHO.
Just put the even roll gravity grip onto my Scotty, feels fantastic
Nice choice.
Lamkin fit straight ….for my Scotty Cameron X5 2022 ( almost face balanced ) is my best fitting.
deciding from a
SuperStroke Traxion Tour XL+Plus™ Golf Putter Grip, White/Red/Gray (Tour XL 2.0)
or a 2Thumb OG Lite Black Putter Grip 31
Hy, thanks a lot for the comparison. I bought the Evnroll grip, and i am very happy with it. One question: Why does Simon spell Putter with “a“ and Neil with „u“? I thought a lot about the spelling but i have got no answer. Whats the correct British english pronounciation?
It's just an accent thing David. Neil is from the North of England, Simon is from the South.
Quick question, I’m looking to change grips on my phantom X5 Scotty Cameron, how thin of a grip can I put? Can I go all the way down to a pp58? Or would it be too thin? Thank you
There's nothing to say you can't Nicolas. You do you, it will definitely fit.
Which putter grips would you recommend for an arc to straight putting stroke?
It's just a guide Christopher, not hard and fast rule, but smaller tends to work for more arcing strokes, where bigger is often a good fit for straighter strokes.
Hope that helps.
Hi, I am a right handed golfer, and putt with left hand below right. Does this make a difference to grip selection?
Hi Malcolm.
It really does come down to personal preference, but there's a few things to bear in mind.
Is your putting stroke quite straight (back and through)? Are you using left hand below right to stop the wrists from breaking down through impact?
If yes, then it probably makes a lot of sense to use a slightly larger sized grip that inhibits wrist movement. And if you like the size of the grip under your right hand it could be worth looking at a parallel grip which doesn't have a taper. So you'd have the same size of grip under both hands.
Hope that helps.
Any idea where you can buy the ping pp60 grip?
In the UK at least it's worth asking Adore Golf Grips, they usually have a decent selection of Ping models.
will you be doing something similar with shafts?
Great question. We are just in the process of organising hitting all the KBS iron shaft models within the same video and explaining which is best suited to which type of player.

If you struggle with distance control what grip would be good?
Obviously you want something you feel comfortable with. Don't though go too big or heavy, a slightly lighter putter can help with distance control.
Hope that helps.
The best putter grip wasn't even mentioned in this video. PURE Midsize
“The softer grips give you a softer feel”.
There is no doubt that you guys know your stuff, but your content is always like watching a 1970’s slide show with commentary. Sorry…..
Bit of a click bait style video unfortunately.
If your going to show alternative grips on your post photo and then only review the major brands shown, like Golf Pride, Lamkin and so on then really why bother.
I use the Kotahi Putter Grip - Undersized and it's transformed my putting, but Golf Monthly didn't review that.
Great Video! Thank you 🔥👏💪🫶
Thanks for the feedback, appreciate you taking the time.
