I love the quote, "my Scotty Cameron putter," versus just saying, "my putter."

I have been playing golf in Canada recently and whilst there I came across a new brand of Putter grip called a Forward Putter Grip and WOW they are BRILLIANT! They have a special asymmetric design/shape which I couldn't begin to explain, all I can say is that from the moment you put them in your hands they feel so comfortable and you feel so confident that you feel as though you can`t miss the Putt. I highly recommend golfers try them out, they will improve your Putting guaranteed!!!!!!!

I recently put a superstroke Fatso 5 on my spider tour putter. I am hoping to take the wrist out of it and be more consistent from 7 feet and in. I have seen some pros say that with this grip they strongly recommend a 2 thumb grip. What are your thoughts? Is 2 thumb definitely the way to go or can conventional be as effective on this larger grip? Thanks!

Interesting Vid Gents, many thanks. I few years ago I played some golf with a one handed player,. His overall game was remarkably good, but what was most noticeable was how good his Putting was, (basically he never missed a Put from around 10ft and in). I was so impressed that I started experimenting with Putting with just my left hand on the Putter from around 10ft. The improvement in my Putting was amazing, as long as I read the break correctly I rarely missed and my distance control was way better.
Next time you are on the Putting Green give it a try, I don`t know why but Putting with your left hand only (for Right handed Golfers) works. On longer Puts I revert to Putting two handed as I find it harder to hit it hard enough on slow long Puts.

Very interesting. I know a lot of golfers also swear by chipping one-handed. It goes to show that if you're struggling with your putting, there is no need to suffer in silence - give another method a go. There is absolutely no reason to feel self-conscious about trying a different approach!

Nice overview, gents! I've even tried the Garsen grip, which has an upside-down V-shaped top surface, instead of the normal flat surface. It worked for Stenson, but, sadly, not for me. :(

Thank you for a very helpful video.
I use the CLAW grip which I really like.
The claw grip suits my Golf Pride TOUR SNSR 140cc soft grip on my Odyssey 7 WORKS TANK putter.
My other putter is a Taylormade SPIDER PLATINUM & RED TOUR putter with a very large, bulky SUPERSTROKE
COUNTER CORE grip. This putter is 20 grams lighter than my TANK putter.
The SPIDER is good on fast greens in the summer.
I find the SUPERSTROKE grip rather too large for me when I use my favourite CLAW grip.
I AM THINKING OF REPLACING MY SUPERSTROKE GRIP ON MY SPIDER PUTTER WITH A GOLF PRIDE TOUR SNSR GRIP.
THIS WOULD GIVE ME THE SAME GRIP TYPE ON BOTH PUTTERS.
DO YOU RECOMMEND ME TO ALTER MY GRIP?
OR AM I JUST WASTING MONEY?
I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR EXPERT OPINION & ADVICE.
I HAVE SUBSCRIBED & RUNG THE BELLL AS I APPRECIATE YOUR ADVICE.
I KNOW IT IS AN OLD YOU TUBE VIDEO BUT I HOPE YOU WILL REPLY.
    THANKYOU.

I have used conventional grip since day 1. Tried cross-handed and it was a disaster as the distance control and speed was completely out of whack. I would not change the putting grip unless you were instructed to. Putting is all feel and changing the grip disrupts all that. Unless you wanna spent countless hours on the practice green redeveloping the feel with the new grip, leave it alone

Using the grip as the shaft between your legs isn't an elegant look.😂😂😂👍

Most amateurs cannot putt consistently no matter what size grip they have, it's called lack of technique, lack of skill and lack of practice.
