We went out to Sotogrande to the La Reserva Club to check out Golf Pride’s new Reverse Taper grip which is not your traditional putter grip.
The new Reverse Taper design helps keep the clubface squarer through impact so you can hit straighter putts on your intended target line.
Matthew Johns from London Putting Academy takes us through a putting drill putting the new Golf Pride Reverse Taper to the test.

Why does this video show these REVERSE TAPER grips with a RED end tip, and the ones in Golf Galaxy are White? Are there color choices to choose cause I'm not seeing this.

Gee I expected to see more about the putter grip than putting instruction. The instruction was good but the focus was supposed to be about the reverse putter grip. Kinda surprised.

Dont you believe it. Best grip Ive ever used and they come out in three styles and two sizes so one will fit you like a glove. And the bottom like is that my putting is a lot better. Putts come a lot closer to the hole so you avoid the dreaded three putt. But your putter must fit you in the first place. I like the semi mallet and mine is a good one. A Bettinardi that was fit for me. The reverse taper grip completed things. Its better than my old grip which was a superstroke flatso.

@shepardsmith3235 Bull shit, putters are over 100 years old, and all of a sudden they get the bright idea to widen the lower part of the grip? It is absolutely useless for golf but a gold mine for a company.
