I used to rock a Matador grip on my 5.5 and the texture and material that GP uses on this grip is exactly the same! So I’m absolutely thrilled when they came out with a Pistol version that I sped to the nearest PGA Superstore to get my putter regripped. Now I’m just waiting for my Tourlock modifiers and I’m gonna Frankenstein the heck out of my flatstick! 😂
After checking and analyzing various reviews and trying the options I settled on the round reverse taper grip. I really like the way it feels. I have a Ping Fetch putter and I did like the Ping grip but immediately felt the difference to the positive side when I had the Golf Pride Round reverse taper grip put on. Less tension on the hands and feels effortless. Very relaxed putting . Golf Pride made a good product. I will be interested to see how the 3 options work out for people. You did a very good review. Thanks. Joe
I think I would prefer a rubber grip to poly, but will try one of these in my backup putter. It has a seriously worn SuperStroke grip. I use a Golf Pride SNSR in my gamer and the texture of the rubber on that grip is just better. We'll see which one wins out.
I tried the Reverse Pistol this last weekend and it feels very nice...I'm going to give the others a try and see how they compare against my SuperStroke 3.0
Wow these were a big surprise. I like the Flat and use the large. Its like a reminder grip for use on the course. Cant wait till they come out with a full set of these. Ought to be interesting. You really should go to PGA Super and try them. There are three. I liked the Flat by far.
I'm using Winn X Pro 1.18 ", the 1.32" on another, and the Winn Jumbo Lite pistol on another. So I'd like know the diameters of this GP model so I can consider trying a couple at a shop first.
Its the Thermoseries quarter-zip: www.footjoy.co.uk/en_GB/sale/previous-season-apparel/thermoseries-mid-layer/13AW22.html however it's last season's which I don't think they stock anymore!

Going to my course tomorrow and try it out as I am in need of a new grip. Thanks for the info.
Good luck and make sure to let us know how you get on!

Works amazing for me. For 30 quid, what do you have to loose?
Exactly, I think in the context of how much difference it could make to peoples game compared with the price, it's a no brainer to try it out.

Sounds like you have some testing to do Chris!
What is the FJ top - very cool?

Cracking mullet mate 👍
Not sure all of our subscribers would agree but thanks for the message! 🤣😂
A quirky grip. Expensive at £30. Too much for me & I won’t be buying with all tat white on display. It will look grubby in no time.
Gimmick like ya tash.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 much appreciated!
Sorry this is the real deal. A lot better than the superstroke.
