    People say that Kang in Quantumania was underwhelming, and I could see that the first part, but in reality Kang is weakened in this film. A lot of people don't really understand that. Kang is weakened because he is in the Quantumn Realm. Now, if Kang was outside of the Quantumn Realm and had access to time, then Kang would have been more capable and more powerful like traveling through time, manipulating time, and summoning any weapon from any point in time just like in the comics.
    And I liked how they did this because it proves that a weak Kang, or even the weakest Kang, can be a big threat, like how Kang conquered the Quantumn Realm, like a whole dimension basically, a weakened Kang conquered a whole dimension. It just goes to show the capability of Kang, and I hope that they can expand on this Kang stuff like every Kang after the one in Quantumania will be stronger and stronger just showing the danger of Kang as a whole.

      Correct, and not just that. Many people also need help understanding one more thing: ants are mighty creatures. Ant can lift 50 times more than its weight because of its bodybuilding. So, to make it easy, tiger vs. tiger-size ant, the ant will beat the shit out of the tiger. And here we had a man-size ants army. Kang, surviving that army, proves he's a beast.

    10:32 You may have misunderstood one another. *Jane* was correct when she said _Scott_ spent five years in the Quantum Realm. For him it was only five hours, but in our time he spent 5 years in the Quantum Realm. And given *JV's* response was, *_"They_*_ just got blipped out of existence,"_ I'm thinking he thought *Jane* was referring to _Hope, Hank_ and _Janet,_ because they were the ones that had been blipped.
    Unfortunately, by using the pronoun _"They"_ in his response, we don't know if *JV* was actually including _Scott_ in that blip comment. 🤷🏼‍♂️

    Janet being the hero, "Oh, you are killing people!" All of that sh!t, and Kang is over there like, "Oh, that doesn't matter."
    No BS, at the final part of the Multiversal Saga people will be routing for Kang, or saying that Kang is right, like as Kang said, and the other versions of his and those things, they will destroy the timelines, or the incusions will destroy the Universes and timelines anyway, so there is no real way to save the people that Janet mentions, because they are all going to die anyways, and so they would be left with, "it's either they die, or everyone dies," kind of situation, where sacrificing a few lives and universes means and ensures the survival of everyone else, or at least save as much as can be saved, because in this situation with Kang and the incursions and all that not everyone can be saved.

    @See Jane Go TV,
    51:21 Keep in mind that Scott's in the Quantum Realm, a universe extremely small. He's a giant there, but still so much smaller than his smallest form in the real world...er...his world.
    58:28 According to what Janet said about the Quantum Realm, they just saved numerous worlds. Earlier you asked about the evolution in the Quantum Realm, and while that IS likely a thing, the people all look vastly different from one another because it isn't just one world or galaxy, but a whole other universe! This new universe is the nexus point to all realities, everywhere and everywhen across the Multiverse.
    I enjoyed this movie, but found it odd that Kang wanted out! You'd think he'd want to stay here, and who knows, the one who wins the Multiversal War, He Who Remains, appeared to stay here. The TVA and HWR's castle looks to be in a place that looks very much like the Quantum Realm. End Game showed us the power of the Quantum Realm and what one can do with it if he/she really wanted to--Hulk believed that one could only make a new reality and that what one did in the past wouldn't change one's present timeline, but Kang likely knows how to make the past, present and future one and the same.
    1:00:57 the cake was bad because his former boss made it, the guy who hasn't made a cake since 1997, lol.
    1:01:14 Regarding Jonathan Majors, I think the court of public opinion should get out of his and his girlfriend (ex?)'s business. Too many people online are arguing this or that, and we know nothing--even with the little he revealed. That said, it's strange seeing a lot of folks online arguing against him despite his girlfriend's contradicting stories.
    Ezra Miller did a lot of crazy stuff, some of which was on video and proven! He still got to finish his movie and his movie is coming out and is on track to make millions. Jonathan isn't even accused of doing an 1/8 of what Ezra did. Guilty or not, he should be able to work as those who've been actually convicted of doing worse.
    $476 million globally, which it in 11th place of MCU films and ahead of Thor 2011, Shang-Chi, Eternals, Black Widow, Captain America 2011 and the Incredible Hulk 2008. So not the lowest money earner.
    The movie did poorly among diehard marvel comic heads because their expectations were through the roof! They wanted an Avengers level movie for the introduction of Kang, lol! Why?! The entire phase after Endgame was replicate phase one of the MCU: team building! Loki and this movie are setting up Kang in the same way GotG setup the Infinity stones! Before we can get a big Endgame payoff, we need to know the players and the stakes. Kang won't be the only threat though, though he's the much larger one for sure. We still have the celestials to worry about, but I think they're setting up Galactus for Judgement when it comes, sometime after Kang.
    Anyway, this movie didn't make a billion like more popular MCU movies, but it didn't do poorly. Info online says the MCU put $200 million dollars into Quantumania and it made $476 million--that's not a bomb! It's not a billion dollars, sure, but it certainly isn't a bomb! But as point out with other MCU movies, this did better than several other movies. There just some people online that want to bring some movies down just because =/
    1:05:12 Thanos was THE guy we had to worry about. We don't know which Kang is the real threat. This Kang, the exiled one is the one who pit Kangs against each other, not necessarily the one they all need to look out for. As we saw in this clip, all of the other Kangs are still pretty cordial, and we know from HWR that doesn't last.
    Kang is more interesting if you keep your mind open, looking at all the information you get on his personality from HWR, this Kang and the council at the end. Like all the Loki's Kang has a defined storyline, and we are at the beginning of his story. Kang's been betrayed, by his own kind, and once the others get word of this, they're going to start turning on one another. Things were fine when they thought they were working together sharing information, but now that they know a handful of them placed themselves above all the others, and lets not forget exiled one of them, they should all watch their backs. Kangs are going to start feeling cornered real fast and things are going to start spiraling out of control even faster.

  • @TheGreater-ScopeVillain
    @TheGreater-ScopeVillain Год назад

    Although they're currently framing the threat named "Kang" to be the sheer number and diversity of Kang variants across the multiverse led by the Council of Kangs, rather than any one single Kang, I don't think they'll be the ultimate threat. After all, there is only one "main" Kang the Conqueror, and he was in this movie. Yes, he got sucked up into his Multiversal Engine Core at the end, but that's not an onscreen death that is definitive. The Council of Kangs claims that "the exiled one" is dead, but they could simply be wrong and not know it. If Darren Cross/Yellowjacket/M.O.D.O.K. can survive a similar fate, Kang the Conqueror certainly can.
    What separates this movie's Kang the Conqueror as the "main" Kang compared to all the others is that he is clearly the most dangerous and influential of them all. After all, the entirety of the Council of Kangs could not actually kill him; the most they could do was sabotage his Time Ship (depriving him of most of his resources) and trap him in the one place that could hold him: the Quantum Realm. They knew this was the only way they could stop him as none of them could take him in fight directly. As Kang said: *_"They're afraid of me."_* If all the other Kangs are afraid of this one, then you know he's the most dangerous of them all.
    Plus, this Kang also revealed himself to be the one who started the Multiversal War in the first place, and took control of the Multiverse from his variants who he saw as playing with time like children. We saw Kang in this movie at his weakest in every aspect. Even at the climax of the movie, his forces and resources were likely nothing compared to what he had at the height of his power in the Multiversal War. Additionally, Kang alluded to his past and that Janet had *_"no idea what [he had] lost,"_* and that he would burn the Council of Kangs out of time for what they did to him. All of this points to the possibility that this Kang will return later (likely around the time of Avengers: Kang Dynasty) to take his place as the one true main villain of the Multiverse Saga, potentially having gained spacetime powers or something from his Multiversal Engine Core, thus becoming the MCU's version of The Beyonder for Avengers: Secret Wars.

    As far as this movie is concerned, there are just so many ridiculous contrivances and plot holes that makes this movie difficult to watch without wanting to yell at the screen. Also, Modok, imho, was wasted on this movie. They took a villain that no one really liked in the first place, and gave him the role playing one of the most ridiculous Marvel villains -- Marvel has done amazing things in the past making ridiculous comic book characters actually believable and cool (eg. The Vulture, Mysterio, etc.) But no, they made him lame.

    People are getting burned out on marvel but not because they're tired of marvel, it's more like the writers and creators are getting burned out, the cgi was bad and they could've done better with the story. That's been the major complaint. Since endgame the quality has dropped some, now marvel has hit or misses. I heard that GOG did great, someone told me it feels like they actually put in the passion and effort for that movie, hopefully they'll hear what the fans are saying, everyone wants this story and kang but the execution hasn't been as great as it was in the past.

      MCU To Make Sweeping Changes After Phase 4 Disappointment Claims Report
      Here is some chat about this as well below
      erikthered25 quote-
      I'm sick of all this fan fiction surrounding phase 4. It took 14 years for Marvel fans to become just as nitpicky, entitled, and unsatisfiable as Star Wars fans lol I get it You didn't like some of the content, You don't have to. Some of the content did not totally link up together, so what. Feige has already said that was done by design to take some of the pressure off the fans and their creatives so they wouldn't have to watch everything that comes out. It was clear to me that the overarching theme was the rise of other heroes to fill the gap now that the avengers have been disbanded after The Infinity war saga. After such a successful 10 years this was the perfect time to do such a thing. I'm so glad Marvel isn't run like WB or else they would have canceled everything based on a few fan videos and Twitter complaints lol I personally enjoyed all of it. I enjoyed all the movies and TV shows. If you ask non MCU fans they enjoyer the movies they even enjoyed Thor love and thunder. It's only this very loud MCU vocal minority that's running around screaming the building is on fire. The Marvel Universe has gotten to the point where they're not living and dying on movies ergo they can now experiment, do different things, even reach for the sky and fail in order to figure out what works and what doesn't work. Phase IV was an experimental phase for the MCU. This experimental phase was needed in order to grow the brand. If you look at it that way you'd realize that phase four was much more successful than people give it credit for. People are saying with the Ant-Man trailer phase 5 looks like a return to form. It only looks like a return to form because phase four was the experimental phase and now they've returned to The old Marvel way of doing things. Phase 4 was a great phase. I believe folks Will eventually look back on phase four years later and see it was a pivotal time in the MCU and it was needed to push the MCU brand into different directions.

      Kris Hite quote-
      This whole "everything has to fit together" thinking is the main problem. People have that mindset and it is just ruining everything. Yes the first 3 phases were leading to something, but even then alot of movies really had nothing to do with the ongoing plot outside of a post credit scene. Phase 4 was about setting up new heroes and villains for phase 5 and 6, but people have no patience for this
      _________
      Joshua Engelmann quote-
      Phase Four was fine. It was just a very vocal minority that decided the MCU was over after Endgame that was the complainers. However it did feel like too many projects as much as I liked them all.
      ___________
      Johnny82Utah quote-
      It's funny I'm sure those who are complaining about the volume of projects in phase 4 were the ones clamoring for them to explore more things like phase 4 has. I'm certainly all for volume the more the better as far as I'm concerned as long as it stays true to what the MCU is as a whole. I disagree with John in that the connectivity is what makes the MCU special and can really enhance the experience. Spider-Man No Way Home bringing in the past Spider-Man films as Canon is not only fantastic as a viewer but gave a lot of hope as to what was to come.

      I have a few criticisms but over all I thought Phase 4 was awesome. It is the most creative and unique the superhero genre has ever been and for that alone I give Marvel so much props. All i can say is that I will be there for every show and movie they release.

      Yeah I don’t really get the people complaining. If you haven’t liked most of the content lately that’s fine but, to act like phase 1 told us everything that was coming is some revisionist nonsense. Phase 1 was Thanos as big bad and infinity stones. Phase 4 is Kang as big bad and the multiverse. They’ve literally given the same amount of info. Just have to wait n see how it comes together

    • @bricktwo5849
      @bricktwo5849 Год назад +1

      Folks are who saying the mcu is in decline are the ones i seen so far with a agenda.
      The mcu maybe a decline from phase 3(because phase 3 Has made more money )but phase 4 is clearly making more money then phase 1 and 2 and the rt scores are higher. In fact the rt audience scores for phase 4 is higher then phase 3 if carefully take a look at the recent scores. Phase 4 is the most creative phase so far as well. The ones who are saying the mcu is in decline are those in the loud minority on the internet. You know the ones who say star wars is decline and clearly it's not,compared to prequels.It's clear as well that disney star wars has higher scores on average and made more money.
      Anyway the mcu is not in decline and most folks are enjoying phase 4 on average more then phase 1 and 2 and even 3 for example and it's not even over yet. The average rt score agrees and Phase 3 and 4 are the best mcu phases on average so far.
      Anyway phase 4 is doing way better on average then the dceu post justice league for example.
      Overall mcu quality has gone up IN PHASE 4 .Anybody remember ironfist and inhumans for example?I guess some folks here do not.

    They said early on when the MC you started that eventually it would run out of steam. Especially as they killed off for retired old Heroes and brought a new ones. Since the end of Avengers endgame, the amcu has been slowly losing Steam.
    The movies and TV shows are getting worse and worse reviews, people are getting more and more confused, and having TV shows that are also required to watch in order to keep up with what's going on is also killing the MCU.
    I said it would end up being this way and I was right. Do I think they can maybe pull the MC you out of this rut? I honestly don't think they can at this point. Especially with King not being someone that everyone cares about as much.

      @@LaCheeserie I'm still enjoying the MCU, but you're right about them needing to find a strong link between movies again. One of the problems now is that they've intentionally broken up the MCU into 3 separate parts (cosmic, supernatural/mystical, and street-level), and it seems like each part has it's own separate ongoing storyline (such as Falcon & Winter Soldier, She-Hulk, and the upcoming Captain America and Thunderbolts movies all being part of one storyline, whereas Loki, No Way Home, Multiverse Of Madness and Quantumania are exploring a different storyline).
