    People say that Kang in Quantumania was underwhelming, and I could see that the first part, but in reality Kang is weakened in this film. A lot of people don't really understand that. Kang is weakened because he is in the Quantumn Realm. Now, if Kang was outside of the Quantumn Realm and had access to time, then Kang would have been more capable and more powerful like traveling through time, manipulating time, and summoning any weapon from any point in time just like in the comics.
    And I liked how they did this because it proves that a weak Kang, or even the weakest Kang, can be a big threat, like how Kang conquered the Quantumn Realm, like a whole dimension basically, a weakened Kang conquered a whole dimension. It just goes to show the capability of Kang, and I hope that they can expand on this Kang stuff like every Kang after the one in Quantumania will be stronger and stronger just showing the danger of Kang as a whole.

    • @theamazingspooderman2697
      @theamazingspooderman2697 Год назад +18

      exactly, Kang was weak here bcz of the Realm, it's almost as if his variants sent him there bcz he is weak there

    • @buildaggedonarmanaziie4462
      @buildaggedonarmanaziie4462 Год назад +17

      @theamazingspooderman2697 It literally says in the movie that Kang was exiled to the Quantum Realm because it was a place outside of space and time, so it was the only place that could hold him. Not only that, but when Janet sabotaged Kang's multiversal engine core, she plainly said that she "cut him off from time." So Kang cannot access time, so Kang is nowhere near as powerful as he would be with the power of time literally being on his side. Do you see what I am saying?

    • @Matt-wb8ni
      @Matt-wb8ni Год назад +15

      At this point, it feels like people straight up didn’t even pay attention when it was explained that he was weakened. Because it was made very clear that Kang was at his weak point and the reason why it was so important to keep Kang in the quantum realm is because of he had access to space and time, he would be a billion times more powerful than he is in the quantum realm. The movie had it’s problems, but Kang carried the movie.

    17:19 -- that WAS the purpose of the TVA. Kang is a genius inventor from the far future, and Kang we met at the end of Loki won the multiverse war he started with the other versions of himself. And he was in control of the sacred timeline and created the TVA, and trimmed any chances of the multiverse coming back. Once that Kang was killed by Sylvie, it was the wild west again, no more clipping branches. So all the other Kangs can rise up again to fight for control. The Kang in this movie is Kang the Conqueror. Possibly the most violent one (or maybe not, there's still alot of MCU to be written) Phase 5 and 6 are gonna be wild.

    @Alex Hefner's TV & Movie Vault,
    12:15 Everyone and everything in the Multiverse is a variant of someone or something in a different universe. The MCU is Universe 616, and they refer to themselves as the Prime universe, which makes since from an audience point of view since we're seeing this story from their point of view.
    He Who Remains is the Kang that won; Kang at the end of his journey. The Kang we're seeing in this movie is one still early in his career, but one with numerous kills under his belt.
    What we learned from Loki's series is that every version of him was living out the same story because everyone has the same fixed story. This was shown to us via the various other versions of himself. They all told us about their nexus events and we all saw a version of them, not the way the explained them, but the way they played out for 616 Loki, still, we know exactly what they were talking about because we saw/heard about those moments while watching 616 Loki's journey. 616 Loki didn't get erased because he always did what he was supposed to do. Where he turned left, his variants went right, creating a nexus event.
    He Who Remains confirmed for us that everyone in the Multiverse is living the same story via his own story--he found his own variants because they were all doing the same thing at the exact same moment. He told us for a time that they shared their knowledge and technology with one another, and that he quickly learned that some versions of him where much more ambitious, thus dangerous--we saw this with Loki's variants. The only person who's truly different is Sylvie, as she was robbed of her story. She didn't create a nexus event. We don't yet know why she was removed from existence, but I suspect we'll find out this year when Loki season two drops. Was she He Who Remains trump card or was she the product of Miss Minutes' meddling that actually worked out in his favor?
    Sylvie broke the universe, and she's likely the one that has to fix it. She along with someone/something we're going to meet in the coming stories are likely the key to solving the multiverse issue.
    Kang, Nathaniel Richards is a man from the 31st Century. In the comics, he's a descendant of Reed Richards, the leader of the Fantastic Four. We don't know if that'll be the case in the MCU, but why wouldn't it be? Most everything else has stayed pretty true to the comics, though changes have been made--Star Lord's origin in the MCU is very different, for example. And we shouldn't forget about Hank Pym and Ultron either. In the comics, Kang wants to control time, and maybe that's true here too, but perhaps there is something important behind his desire to rule over it and to prune all branches trying to grow past a future date that he's been preventing up to the time Sylvie killed him. We saw the Eternals and what the Celestials wanted to do--Earth is on the chopping block! Did Kang do what he did to prevent that? The Eternals introduction, Celestials and Kang along with the Fantastic Four seem to be setting up Galactus! Is he the judgement we heard about in the Eternals?
    15:49 Do you remember what happened to him? Scott messed up his suit, and his Pym particles went haywire, sending him to the Quantum Realm at different points in time--his body collapsed in on itself. I think the MCU found a very creative way to give us MODOK.
    16:59 The Quantum Realm is why the Avengers were able to undo what Thanos had done. The Quantum Realm is the center of the Multiverse; it's everywhere and everywhen. It exists outside of time and space, which is where the Multiverse is. He Who Remains' castle was very likely in the Quantum Realm along with the TVA. They have to be right? How else would they be able to do what they do at any point in time without missing a beat?
    18:41 YES!!!!
    25:03 That's going to happen, but it won't be as bas as you think, because we know what his world looks like: one story; one possibility running in a loop for eternity for every universe, as it did before Sylvie broke it. He Who Remains doesn't want to kill everyone. He wants everyone living a very tightly scripted story, again and again and again, forever. The Multiverse ran in a loop, ending before the beginning of the 31st Century before rebooting because Kang was preventing his own existence. Every nexus point was pruned because every new event lead to a future with him in it. The War for time cannot be won so long as ANOTHER Kang lives. He who Remains made sure that he was the last one, the only one, and that's how he protected the Multiverse, by keeping himself out of it. A better solution is needed, but hasn't been found yet, but I guess that's what this phase is about.
    29:04 Is he really big though? He's much smaller than he actually is--he's in the Quantum Realm remember?
    38:33 I don't get the hate either, man. I think a lot of people built this movie up to be like Endgame, because of Kang's inclusion, and immediately felt let down when they realized that this is the beginning of Kang and not his end. Of course Ant-Man had to succeed--how else would we have gotten to the next chapter? I know some online are made because Kang was defeated by Ant-Man and I don't get that either because it wasn't just Ant-Man that brought him down. Kang's lieutenant along with Hank's super intelligent ants and the displaced people from the Quantum brought this Kang down. This Kang isn't even the worse one. He's just the guy building up to the real threat, and we haven't even met that version (variant) of him yet. The council of Kangs are bad news, but they too, are likely going to be insignificant when we meet the real threat. How do I know this? Well, the Council of Kangs weren't in Loki, were they? He Who Remains poked fun at what his variants where with the Time Keepers, which is what the Council of Kangs were when you really think about it. He Who Remains played them all.
    He Who Remains was bored, tired of winning. He had won, and he ruled over his winnings for a million lifetimes, remember? Nothing was a challenge for him. Sylvie did him a favor. He gets to do it all over again.

    No BS, at the final part of the Multiversal Saga people will be routing for Kang, or saying that Kang is right, like as Kang said, and the other versions of his and those things, they will destroy the timelines, or the incusions will destroy the Universes and timelines anyway, so there is no real way to save the people that Janet mentions, because they are all going to die anyways, and so they would be left with, "it's either they die, or everyone dies," kind of situation, where sacrificing a few lives and universes means and ensures the survival of everyone else, or at least save as much as can be saved, because in this situation with Kang and the incursions and all that not everyone can be saved.

    Scott’s book is actually something you can preorder now. It’ll hit shelves early September.
    My favorite funny moments were Scott’s audiobook, Quaz’s powers, “M.O.D.O.F.K.”, Veb running with the pack, and the Quantumnaut with the bridge code.
    Three things in particular that I liked about this film:
    1.) Scott and Hope now have portable suits.
    2.) No matter the situation, Scott’s driving force is his daughter Cassie. All of the possible Ant-Men including Baskin Robbins Scott formed an ant hill to help OG Scott fulfill his goal.
    3.) The final fight between Scott/Ant-Man vs. Nathaniel/Kang gave us an idea of how dangerous one Kang can be. Now imagine a multitude…
    They didn’t say her codename, but Cassie in her suit is known as Stature. I feel like the citrus scene is a callback to Scott needing orange slices after getting a double whammer from Iron Man and War Machine.
    We didn’t get to see Scott’s friends in this movie, but Veb was portrayed by David Dastmalchian - the same actor who portrayed Kurt.
    Parts of this movie gave me Star Wars, Guardians, TRON: Legacy, and Avatar vibes all at once.
    The first post-credit scene showcases the Council of Kangs. The three variants that spoke in order of appearance were Rama-Tut, Centurion, and Immortus.
    There was one variant who teleported wearing a suit and tie. He’s known as Mr. Gryphon.
    This paves the way to Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
    What I’m about to say is a rumor. I’d take it with a grain of salt, but in the event that they end up making a second season of Moon Knight they’ll consider making Rama-Tut the next main villain.
    As for the second post-credit scene, I don’t know if Victor Timely is a member of the council and I definitely don’t know if Mobius regained his memories or not, but for now I’ll take comfort knowing he and Loki are working together again.
    The adventure continues in Loki season 2, and you’ll be glad to know Marvel Studios finally unveiled that it’ll arrive for Friday, October 6.
    They also announced that Maya Lopez’ solo series Echo will premiere on Wednesday, November 29. All episodes are expected to drop that day.
    In the meantime, mark your calendar for Nick Fury’s solo series Secret Invasion. It’ll premiere on Wednesday, June 21st.

    Thanks for this reaction.
    Important things to keep track of going forward in THE MULTIVERSE SAGA:
    1. All Kangs are variants of 31st-century scientist Nathaniel Richards, descendent of 20th-century Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, the leader of the Fantastic Four.
    2. In the 31st-century, Nathaniel Richards discovered (not invented) the Space-Time Platform of the most dangerous person ever to walk the earth, Victor Von Doom. We have seen this devise, or advanced versions of it, used repeatedly throughout THE MULTIVERSE SAGA: LOKI SE01, it is used by both the TVA and by He-Who-Remains. In DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS, Earth-838 Reed Richards enters the Illuminati Hall by means of it (confirmed by writer Michael Waldron as being Doom's invention). At the end of QUANTUMANIA, we see all Kang-variants using this device. Therefore, all of the Kangs owe their claim to fame to Doctor Doom.
    4. It is very likely that Doom will discover that future descendent of his hated enemy, Reed Richards, is dominating the Multiverse by means of his greatest invention. This will be intolerable for Doom. He will probably discover this from the Loki-variant who is seeking a way to stop all the Kangs. Loki will discover the prime-Kang Nathaniel Richards and his 31st-century find of Doom time-travel tech, and will seek Doom out by means of the TVA. This is likely how Doom learns about the Kangs.
    5. Upon learning about the Kangs and their transtemporal, Multiversal dynastic reign, Doom will spend all his thought into preparing to usurp their rule. The Kangs become his greatest priority. This explains Doom's absence during the Battle of NY, the Battle of Sokovia, the Battle for Earth on the Hudson Valley, NY, the Emergence of the Celestial Tiamut, and the secret invasion of the Skrulls.
    6. In addition to being an almost unmatched scientific and technological genius, Doom is also a powerful and learned sorcerer, the greatest student of Cogliostro. His mother Cynthia was a witch. Therefore Doom knows well of the Darkhold and its prophecy regarding the Scarlet Witch.
    7. To destroy the Dynasty of Kangs, Doom will use his Space-Time Platform to prevent Wanda Maximoff's suicide at Wundagor.
    8. Doom will convince and use Wanda to obliterate every Kang in every universe as easily as she did to every Darkhold.
    9. Dispatching the Kangs will trigger the Final Wave of Incursions annihilating the Multiverse. But Doom, Strange, and Wanda create Battleworld from salvaged pieces of dead universes, and Doom becomes God for AVENGERS SECRET WARS.
    Probably.

    The only way to watch Star Wars is 4, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3, Rouge One, Han Solo, 7, 8, 9 (For live action). If any one else says different, their wrong.

    My favorite thing about kang is how they edited his hits. Thanos was more impactful but kangs hits so much worse and as a "human" it makes it that much scarier

    Its the details that slide by that show the depth of Kang in this movie. Simple things, simple phrases that get taken way out of context yet mean so much more.
    "Me, a lot of me."
    Not a reference to himself,but to his varients.
    If this Kang is ruthless, then a lot of him is a lot more ruthless.
    Killing trillions "As if that mattered."
    When the universe is gone..we all are. 1 timeline as He Who Remains had finished crafting. Means all other timelines have been burned away. Not killed, just never existed.
    Think about possibility for a second; each and every timeline Kang has already burned, each time he has had to kill Avengers/Heros/Villains. But not once did he care enough to learn their names.
    This Kang wants to win. And he will. Always.

    Why are you skipping things?? You've skipped Ms Marvel, She-Hulk, Werewolf by Night and GOTG Holiday special. No matter your opinion on the quality of these they are still part of the main MCU and are required viewing to understand what is going on in future shows, films and special presentations.
