The end there triggers the light bulb of "ohhhh this is why it's important to endgame" and also helps drive the point home that it wasn't just the Avengers that lost people, EVERYONE did. Captain Marvel (and its' post credit scene) has similar plot points for Endgame. Endgame is epic enough that you don't wanna get confused with a lot of "wait, why is that there and why is that happening?" stuff. So Alex I found you through the Marvel reactions and have been really enjoying them, thanks for staying so consistent with them and making my Mondays. I wanted to ask if you knew about the Agent's of Shield TV show that was running alongside these movies at the time. It started immediately after the first Avengers movie and ended shortly after Endgame. How much of it is 'canon' is debatable in present day, but it's got some of my favorite MCU stuff. Not expecting you to react to seven seasons of TV, but if you're at all interested, I can edit together some highlights, especially the things from the first few seasons that tie directly into the movies.
@@alexhefnerstvmovievault It's a really great show that you might want to react to once you get caught up. Absolutely no one can deliver a righteous monologue like Boyd Crowder. He was supposed to die in season one but they couldn’t lose that oration so there he was all the way to the end. Love me some Walton Goggins
I think you're the first reactor who identified Lawrence Fishburne as "that guy from John Wick" and not "Omg! It's f*ckin Morpheus from The Matrix!" Fun fact time 😁: Lawrence is one of the few actors who have flipped flopped between playing Marvel and DCEU characters. In the MAN OF STEEL movie he played Lois' boss Perry White too. Ryan Reynolds as a character in the third BLADE movie (M). BLADE will become a part of the MCU soon. He was DEADPOOL (M) and Green Latern (DC). Russell Crowe as Jor-El in (DC) MAN OF STEEL and Zeus in (M), and the legendary Michael Keaton as the best damn movie BATMAN (DC)out of the bunch, and VULTURE in the MCU. BATMAN RETURNS IS THE BEST ONE EVER. Coincidentally, Michelle Pfeifer played Catwoman in it with him...and now she's The first Wasp to her husband's first Antman in the MCU. Next is the very first stand alone female superhero getting her own movie...Captain Marvel. Countdown to Endgame. 😁
He also dubbed over Doug Jones for Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer so he actually did Marvel, then DC then Marvel again lol. Kinda overkill as Doug's voice really fits Surfer, but Lawrence did great too.
This was the 2nd time actress Michelle Pfeiffer has portrayed a comic book character in 26 years, the 1st being Selina Kyle/Catwoman in 1992's Batman Returns!!!! Amazing to have her in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Janet Van Dyne/The Wasp, the OG Wasp!!!!🐝

Just thought I would let you know, I am going back to see your reaction to when Thor comes to Wakanda with Storm Breaker, that was pretty damned epic!!!!!
Always!
Definitely heard of it and I plan on visiting some tv shows for sure.
@@alexhefnerstvmovievault It's a really great show that you might want to react to once you get caught up. You pretty much HAVE to watch most of the Disney+ shows (in order) going forward as they tie in directly to most of the Phase 4 and Phase 5 movies. Skipping them or watching out of order will leave you with more questions than answers. SHIELD is more of a companion piece, but not necessary.. yet..
@@alexhefnerstvmovievault the early Disney+ shows are really not optional when you get to one point of the movies (post endgame). You really should add them to your queue before continuing with the MCU following endgame or you’ll be lost.
I loved the agent carter show
@@alexhefnerstvmovievault Watch Agent Carter before Agents of Shield
M so glad that you did a reaction video on antman and the wasp which one of my favorite MCU movie and did an excellent job 👌👍 kudos to you and your channel.
A movie that should've gotten more attention.
"Those things" are tardigrades, aka water bears, microscopic organisms that are quite possibly the hardiest creatures known to science, able to exist in the harshest environments, including space.
Well you watched all that in a few months ... we had to endure it for about 10 years. And dude, that was amazing, the time to let things rest and digest mkes wonders, I think it is muche better than just marathon all the movies.
"I know this guy, is he from John Wick?"
That's MORPHEUS for you, son.
Has Alex seen The Matrix movies?
Yeah, Morpheus plays the Bowery King in the John Wick movies, both characters are played by Cowboy Curtis aka "Fish".
"It's the little things." In this movie, that's very true.
I just found your channel. I subscribed and I'm super excited for when you reach endgame. Oh and honestly, Luis is in contention for my favorite MCU character
Has anybody revealed whether Ghost got Snapped out with everybody else, or did she spend those 5 years still waiting for a cure?
To make Captain Marvel a must watch I promise it answers a question EVERYONE had in the most hilarious way you could NEVER imagine.
The cameo that Stan the Man does here is actually making a reference to the cameo He does in Endgame...
I NEVER EVEN NOTICED THAT but they did go back to 1970 so I guess it does and doesn't make sense. (I know it does it obviously does make sense but my brain is dumb)
Also, the movie they're watching on the laptop 'drive-in' is called "Them!", a 1950's horror film about giant irradiated ants :P
Walton Goggins is the best. His work on Justified is amazing.
Absolutely no one can deliver a righteous monologue like Boyd Crowder. He was supposed to die in season one but they couldn’t lose that oration so there he was all the way to the end. Love me some Walton Goggins
Additionally, The Shield as Shane Vendrell, which was his break out role.
Also as the transgender woman in sons!
38:50 we really all wanted Marvel to have Luis do a wrap up of all the marvel movies up until endgame, but sadly we didn't get that 😪
I think you're the first reactor who identified Lawrence Fishburne as "that guy from John Wick" and not "Omg! It's f*ckin Morpheus from The Matrix!"
Fun fact time 😁: Lawrence is one of the few actors who have flipped flopped between playing Marvel and DCEU characters.
I was hoping Alex would have done research about all the DC character crossovers you mentioned in the MCU movies.
Ghost was just announced as a member of the Thunderbolts which is a movie that is coming out in the next few years, fun times.
“She’s pretty, dude.” Yeah, she’s Michelle Pfeiffer.
😆🤣
This was the 2nd time actress Michelle Pfeiffer has portrayed a comic book character in 26 years, the 1st being Selina Kyle/Catwoman in 1992's Batman Returns!!!!
Amazing to have her in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Janet Van Dyne/The Wasp, the OG Wasp!!!!🐝
8:35 just realized, that there is an enlarged duracel battery in the background 😂
There is a meme out there where it's requested that Luis recap the ENTIRE Marvel storyline before Endgame.
i cannot believe this man does not know who Michelle Pffeifer is
Michelle Pieffer( Janet) is really beautiful and you should check out "The Fabulous Baker Boys" (1989) where she plays a sultry piano lounge singer.
ant man is the key to defeat thanos, he'd go ant size and crawl up thanos' a$$ and go giant
- Sounds like someone has been watching the new season of " The Boys " ;)
Well now you know what he was doing.
Is that the guy from John Wick? Sir, that is Lawrence Fishburne! Have you never seen The Matrix movies?!?!
The CGI de-aging technology is bringing back famous actors to be able to do flashback scenes in Star Wars, Tron:Legacy , and Antman.
This movie opens the doorways.
Hahaha I remember my reaction to seeing this movie in theaters. I thought it was an average marvel movie. Just kinda fun, a palate cleanser, etc. Then, that after credit scene…I mean that ant can fuggin DRUM, dude.
Jk haha. Nah but really, my jaw was on the floor when I saw the three of them get Thanos-snapped like that. Such a jarring tie in to what was going on in the rest of the world.
oh man, are we accelerating the process towards end game? LETS GO
Alex....re-watch the final end credit scene, with the ant playing drums. Check out what the TV is showing and the audio it is playing before the camera moves past it. This will answer your question #2.
I love Cassie saying that she would make a great sidekick/partner. That's great looking back.
I laughed so hard when you said "They're probably doing drugs and fucking in the porta potty" I literally woke up the whole house
Those things are tardigrades, also known as a water bears. They're like the toughest animal in the world.
Lawrence Fishburn who was in John Wick was also Morpheus in the Matrix Trilogy (with Keanu Reeves).
Let’s be honest, we’re all here for the post credit scene reaction.
One of the greatest Marvel Xman based shows or movies is sitting right under everyone’s nose that hasn’t checked it out, FXs “LEGION” it’s mind blowing how good it is. You won’t find anything like it
