SECOND THIS
What an experience on an oled tv
No
ninja turtles mutant mayhem too once thats available
They watched this in theaters
The editing of this video has me crying of laughter at 3am🤣
Quantummania sacrificed the heist comedy schticks that made Ant-Man movies unique for the Multiverse mumbojumbo. No X-Cons team actually hurt the film pretty badly. It felt so bland without them.
Antman became generic marvel movie 😭
this movie was so bad. even paul rudd (who wrote the previous movies but not this one) when it came out was like "this was a mistake".

24:08 funny thing is Zuse from Tron Legacy reminds of Krylar from this movie
Loved the reaction, thanks for rewatching, i feel like there was a lot I forgot about. Holden, lets see how you feel about the 2 different Cassie's after your daughter is 16. And Jen you look great for a month out?
Can't wait to come back in 10 years when you start showing these movies to your child.
21:16 Jen's face here says it all 😂😂😂.. Holden is a Spider-Man fan boy for life.. and Jen knows it. She is tired of this 😂😂😂
I think you read too much into that, I didn’t see any noteworthy reaction to that reference and I’ve seen her eye rolls. But she would definitely be tired, with a baby and all.
@@heavyarms7prime hhhh lol, I was not talking about Jen being physically tired lol. She is tired of Holden talking about spiderman all the time.. 😭😂
@@Shap0o.PlayZzwell that’s one conclusion that could be jumped to.
I've been hoping that you guys rewatch the marvel movies that you saw in theaters with us 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
“Broken” “Wolf” then it wouldn’t be genuine reactions? “Broken” “Wolf” 💀💀
Didn't hate it, but this is one of the only films I've seen at the cinema and genuinely just not enjoyed myself. I just felt nothing by the end of it...
"Has he been in anything else besides Loki?"
Me: "The news"
I personally enjoyed it for the most part but kind of just found it forgettable. The whole visual design of the Quantum Realm was great and I loved Jonathan Majors as this variant of Kang the Conqueror. He's not Prime Kang (The main big Kang) from my understanding, could be Prime Kang but regardless he's extremally close to Kang from the comics down to the two scars on his face and the outfit. If his Kang ends up surviving then Marvel could easily bring him back as the Prime Kang but I feel like they're saving Prime Kang for the next two Avengers films as the one behind everything. We could even see hints of him in Loki Season 2 which would be cool.
Was not a fan of MODOK in this film. MODOK in the comics was George Tarleton a former employee of Advanced Idea Mechanics or A.I.M. After being turned into MODOK he kills his creators and takes control of A.I.M. so when people think of A.I.M. the character of MODOK comes to mind as well.
But for this film they turned Darren Cross into MODOK massively changing the origin of the character. Visually he looks like MODOK a massive head covered in armour and tiny floating legs and arms. I personally just didn't really like this at all both the fact they made Darren MODOK and overall how wasted he felt in this film. Hopefully we get an actual MODOK down the line with a messed up face and connections to A.I.M. maybe even go with George Tarleton. It would be odd to have two MODOK's though unless A.I.M. ends up coming across Darren's body and thus creating a new MODOK.
Kangs we saw at the end:
Victor Timely - The one Loki saw
Rama-Tut - Pharaoh in ancient Egypt
Immortus - Older Kang with the beard and cool headwear
Scarlet Centurion - Kang with the slick armour with blue lights.
Side note I'm more excited for Loki from the tease at the end and of course the Loki Season 2 trailer that just released.
I don’t really mind MODOK so much. They already did the whole AIM thing and they still decided to give us MODOK somehow. I don’t know if anyone could’ve made MODOK be taken seriously in live action.
There not using prime kang there bringing kang the conqueror for the next 2 avengers movies . Also the kang in the last end credit scene is a variant of Kang he who remains who was the only variant who wasn't trying to kill people and destroy universes he was trying to keep them separate
Definitely agree with the MODOK point, wish we could've seen the Tarleton version used in an actual good storyline featuring MODOK. I really like the MODOK from Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, and would've liked to see something like that in the MCU.

Welcome Back to the MCU Ya'll 🎊🎉🎊
I've also enjoyed Quantumania for what it was, not necessarily great or the best, but still pretty decent. Love your guys reaction, keep up the good work, and I can't wait to see ya'll react to Guardians Vol. 3 and Across the Spider-Verse!
The actress among the "quantum people" you couldn't totally place is Katy M O'Brian, she played Elia Kane in season 3 of The Mandalorian.
She was the intense "ex" imperial employee that set up Dr Pershing. 👍 I think she definitely deserved a more elaborate MCU character to debut as... I reckon she's the acting chops for it.
Technically this wasn't her MCU debut. She was in the final season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as one of the henchmen of that season's final big bad villain.
Aww no way! I didn't know that, I haven't watched Agents of shield... Still though, from the sheer chills alone that she gave me in Mandalorian she deserves to be much more than henchman also, so both MCU roles she's been given to date in my opinion have fallen a little flat of what she could give the franchise, she would make an excellent marvel villian, but then she runs the risk of type casting herself in villainous roles 🤷♂️
Cheers for letting me know that tho 👍 might give the show a go.
Honestly she's okay- I feel like she might have the acting chops for it but based on the Mandalorian, AoS, and this (which is what Ive seen her in) they haven't given her any opportunity to show any range. She's had like two different expressions
@@BichaeldeAngeloexactly
@11:09 yeah, Mando. She was Elia Kane in seasons 2 and 3.
Scott’s book Look Out For The Little Guy is actually something you can preorder now. What was once a movie prop is now an actual book you can bring home. It’ll hit shelves in three weeks from today.
They didn’t say her codename, but Cassie in her suit is known as Stature. In the comics, she also had Stinger as a second moniker.
I feel like the citrus scene is a callback to Scott needing orange slices after getting a double whammer from Iron Man and War Machine.
We didn’t get to see Scott’s friends in this movie, but Veb was portrayed by David Dastmalchian - the same actor who portrayed Kurt.
The first post-credit scene showcases the Council of Kangs. The three variants that spoke in order of appearance were Rama-Tut, Centurion, and Immortus.
The business suit Kang is known as Mr. Gryphon. He’s the head of a company called Qeng Enterprises. The TVA actually pruned a version of his building.
Jeff Loveness, the writer of this movie, revealed that parts of his backstory were cut from this film because he felt they would be more fitting for the fifth Avengers film.
This paves the way to The Kang Dynasty. Hopefully then, we’ll know what Kang the Conqueror lost and what the Council did to him.
I’d take this rumor with a grain of salt, but in the event that they end up making a second season of Moon Knight they’ll consider making Rama-Tut the next main villain.
As for the second post-credit scene, I don’t know if Victor Timely is a member of the council and I definitely don’t know if Mobius regained his memories or not, but for now I’ll take comfort knowing he and Loki are working together again.
The adventure continues in Loki season 2.
Regarding Ant-Man being giant for an extended time, I figured it was because this is all taking place in the Quantum Realm, which means he's still technically way smaller than normal, thus getting around the rule that being bigger takes more energy.
Truthfully Ant Man has never even followed the rules established IN ANT MAN- they say density is constant, they're just changing the space between atoms and that's why he can't be stepped on and yet they can haul a building around like it's nothing. Marvel hasn't cared about continuity for quite a while. I remember watching Ragnarok before 4 and knowing that Korg has a mom and a stepdad and I guess they forgot that before making the 4th lmao
Personally just felt like he was finally getting used to it, like his body was adapting to the constant changing he's put it through in all the movies. But I could see your answer making sense as well.
@@zekieffthat's what I thought. Since Cassie as big fainted for a bit

1. Kang the Conqueror
2. Darren Cross/Yellowjacket/M.O.D.O.K.

Oh that's right!
I absolutely love Jonathan Majors as Kang... he is very terrifying, and his range shows with the different variants he plays.

I'm so excited to see them react to it!! I love Vol. 3 so much!
I doubt they are the crying type haha

Matt for guardians 3 finally
GOTG 3 is honestly my top 5 best MCU film of all time
After having my 2nd, Newborn babies are stupid easy vs when they get closer to and after they turn about 1yo lmao
this movie is one of the bad marvel films, bad history, some bad acting, like the new Cassie, she looks the same as happy, angry, scare, etc… 😅 no acting range 🤷🏻♂️, and what they did with MODOK 🤦🏻♂️ is unforgivable 👎
The laugh track under the Cassie/Darren scene was to good lol
My comment is I agree with you 2. On each point. Especially Holden’s opinion of Cassie. This version of her, (not the actress) was hella annoying.
I hate this film, the disrespect for Ant man and the absolute dog crap plot/writing.
Oh how the mighty have fallen, RIP Marvel.
Probably my most disliked MCU movie. It’s everything that I dislike about the MCU in one movie. Majors was top tho
if u look in the backgrounds things are different ... litte hints and the green and purple theme that are kangs colours
This movie is so bad😂
Jens always wearing the coolest shirts 🤟🔥
38:00 Holden CGI beard confirmed. We got him, boys!
Jonathan Majors was amazing in the show Love Craft Country. It sadly only had one season but it was great!
Its crazy that the show did so well and then they cancelled it
He was also great in The Harder They Fall on Netflix
Jen asked if the Kang actor was in anything else. Besides the mentioned Creed 3, he was in Lovecraft Country, Devotion (Korean War era movie), and The Harder They Fall.
The attack on titan music lol
Special guest Saturday? Could it be the famous Matt?
25:02 - OMG AOT 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
37:59 - I think overall alot of people didn't care for Ant-Man for the same reasons. But then there were some people that were going to far and saying they didn't like Kang. And I was like 🙉 Kang is THE best part of the movie. I agree that recasting Kasey was a mistake. I like the other actress better. Idk I just couldn't connect with her as much.
In an alternate timeline. I wouldn't have rewatched this 2nd time watch-reaction 3 times already and counting 😎 and that universe probably sucks. Yall are all i needddddd.
Just watched the new mission impossible in theaters. Cant wait for your reaction. Should you choose to accept it.
Your opinions on Oppenheimer would be very cool. Weather its just a review or reaction. We shall seeeee.
Lest you ever get bored of this channel. Holden Hardmen Jenn Hardman Forever. Hero Hardman Forever. Boston and Falcon Forever ❤
The film was mediocre mainly because there is no investment in the characters from a dramatic perspective. Marvel has taken the concept of character arc and watered it down to the point where you don't feel as invested, and more than that, they either lack any sort of consequences (AM3) or the characters/plot is so poorly executed you hardly care when there are (Secret Invasion). In the first Ant Man, you watch as Scott tries to turn his life around and be a different type of person who makes responsible choices so that his children can be proud of him. In this movie he....uh...learns that...he should trust his daughter more I guess? That's not really much of an arc, especially when Cassie doesn't really have much going on for her own characterization. I actually think it would have been way more interesting to have Cassie as not a natural genius (as for some reason every young person in marvel is) and as more of a normal person trying to feel remarkable and comparable to her father and struggling through the fact that, not only does she struggle to measure up but she also feels like if he had been there for her childhood maybe she could have.
In Infinity War, Thanos's first real introduction (outside of cameo) is that he kills Heimdall and Loki, he beats the Hulk down without using a weapon, he murders half the Asgardians, and he leaves Thor to die. In comparison, Kang is introduced by utterly failing to kill anyone important (literally one half character that had no face?), making meaningless threats he fails to act on, and then getting beaten by Ant Man. And we're supposed to consider him the next big bad? It's just so poorly thought out
I'm surprised no one talks about this, but this Kang is this reincarnated version of He Who Remains.
In Loki, He Who Remains says that eventually, he will be reincarnated to stop the multiversal war. Clearly, this variant of Kang has had things happen to him that caused him to be more sadistic than his previous variant, but their goals still allign.
This Kang wants to escape the quantumn realm to prevent his other variants from creating a multiervals war just like He Who Remains.
The world destorying maniac Kang is still out there somewhere.
JEN ROLLING AT HOLDEN TALKING ABOUT SPIDER MAN!
It’s a huge disappointment. Getting “big” should have no effect on them because they are still subatomic. There’s no sense if space or scale. Cassie committing felonies against cops? Her stepdad is a cop! And there’s also overall Marxist themes that I despise. What a waste.
I think kang is more dangerous then thanos, just the setup for kangs introduction hasnt been that suspensful and thanos got like a bunch if hype for his reveal. Very litttle time till they introduced him and i also think comic wise hes more powerful then thanos without the gauntlet and possible with the gauntlet.
Well all mcu. Movies and shows went down since endgame except for Spider-Man guardians 3 and yeah Casey in endgame was much better than this one
First off, welcome back!!
I enjoyed this movie. This movie gets a lot of hate. And yeah sure, this isn't my favorite marvel movie, not even close, and there are issues I have with it but I still enjoyed it. And I honestly like the recasting of Cassie. Kang definitely carried this movie.
OhHH GOTG3 on Saturday. Special guest ... will it be Matt?
Yeah I saw and meet Paul Rudd in person he looks pretty different without make up... And he looks 54.. So yeah you can compare pictures all you want that's his make up artists doing work...
This movie actually loses money at the box office because the movie is so bad that it had a bad word of mouth unlike GOTG 3
GOTG 3 best MCU film since endgame I think this will be the last good movie I lost all hope for Marvel
i tried to watch this and i couldnt....it was dull...the effects didnt wow me...disappointed....
I somewhat enjoyed this movie, but fuck me - it wasn't that great. Too "silly" for my taste.
There’s a reason you don’t remember this movie… and it’s not because of month 8-9 of pregnancy
Btw, the reason why Scott doesn't have a problem being Giant Man for an extended period of time is because, while he's huge from the perspective of the quantum realm, he is still subatomic in size. The issue of insufficient oxygen flow from being 65 feet tall simply doesn't apply on this small a scale.
This was ass. I’ve fallen asleep on it a lot. I can’t fully finish it. Bottom tier marvel flick. I may have to put it on the Thor 2 lvl
Great! Have been missing the Marvel movies with you guys! Cannot wait for you to get to Vol. 3 of the GotG

Welcome to Phase 5. Also Quaz can read minds just like Professor X.
"can't he be big like that for only a certain amount of time?" "yeah he is only supposed to be big for a little bit, before he gets exhausted"
Guys? They are tiny for the whole movie, they are in the microverse.. or well "Quantum Realm" because the MCU wasn't allowed to use the original name.
Even less than tiny. He isn't getting "big", he isn't even normal size when he says that he feels like hugging Godzilla.
To qualify as "quantum realm" things have to be smaller than a proton (0.84 femtometers. A femtometer is a quadrillionth of a meter), so even when Antman grows 20 times in size, he is still in a subatomic universe.
Have you seen Guardians of the Galaxy vol 3
Kang is a time traveler multiverse villain from the future.

First off, I wanna say I noticed you at MegaCON back in February. I wish I said hello to you but by the evening of that day I was incredibly tired so I apologize for that.
As for Johnathan Majors, I don't know if you were made aware but earlier this month his sentencing went down and luckily for him, he's NOT facing jail time. He's going to be involved with a year-long counseling program (basically therapy) so he can build himself back up. Now what it means for his future as Kang the Conqueror is still uncertain. We heard many different things from Marvel Studios about the fate of Avengers 5, like we don't know if it'll still be the Kang Dynasty or if they'll recast Kang. Speaking of recasting, Colman Damingo is rumoured to be the front man as their replacement but nothing's confirmed yet. If they have said they'll start production on Avengers 5 next year, I kinda doubt that they'll stick especially after Majors' sentencing. So I think the studio will probably wait for the situation to die down and maybe they could bring him back for the role. But, we still need to get thru the rest of Phase 5 and maybe get announcement from D23 even I'm uncertain that'll say anything. But, that's where we're at now.
i LOVEEEEEEEEE the AoT reference
QUANTUMANIA WAS DEFINITELY MEH!
This movie was terrible.
One thing that will forever bother me is that although they are giant in that one scene, the movie takes place in the quantum realm. Which means they are still tiny…
I thought of this too
To answer her question:
No, Kang is not more powerful than Thanos. (In the comics he's afraid of Thanos and Thanos killed him in Secret Wars)
Kang isn't dangerous because he's powerful (Ultron and Doom are also more powerful than him) he's dangerous because of time hax, resources (endless armies from endless timelines) and a prep god like Batman.
I hated this new chick as Cassie.
Now, Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 😁.
This movie had some good parts overall isn't great. Just too much "try hard" stuff, if that makes sense. Glad you guys already saw it and are rewatching it but the one really good thing is GOTG3 would be next, which is 10x better than this, lol
The post credits scene for this film became my new favourite post credits scene. Really sets up Loki season 2.
You two should watch transformers rise of the beasts.
I know right
LOL THEY PUT THE AOT THEME IN!
They should have just kept Darren's head normal shaped and just be bigger. The stretched look always was uncanny, almost entirely CGI looking. I don't even remember if his eyes look sideways.
Johnathan Majors was in a few things I've seen, like Lovecraft Country and Creed 3 as mentioned.
It's been proven that Johnathan Majors' girlfriend was coerced into lying about being assaulted by the cops. She was so drunk, she didn't remember anything. She was even shown using her hand at a club after it was said that he broke it
This was......., yeah...
such a waste of time
24:52 the aot edit 😂
stoked you guys are back! Loved the future line-up! will you also be watching Top Gun and Top Gun Maverick?!
