  • In this video i will be teaching you how to top up the pressure of your ideal logic boiler, if your boiler starts flashing and you have no hot water, first thing to check is the pressure, it usually is the pressure causing any troubles, so check it and then if that is the issue follow this video to top it back up and your boiler will be running correctly again.

    Thanks this video helped how to control safety pressure on ideal combi 30 boiler. But usually pressure gauge is meant to be 1 and a half on pressure gauge. Usually you get alot of air in the attic as when you bleed the radiator. Then you have to release pressure on boiler gauge to
    1 & a half between 1 and 2 gauge in between the middle Thanks.

    • @MrWaheedulHaque
      @MrWaheedulHaque  4 года назад +1

      Yeah 1 and half is pefectly fine, i prefer mine just a tiny bit above 1 as when the central heating is turned on it goes up quite a bit, so that balances itself out. But otherwise what you saying is completely correct, and yeah bleeding the radiators will get rid of air and release pressure on the boiler too

    How often should it lose pressure? Mine does it quite a lot and I have to keep topping it up every month. I recently had a leak fixed hoping it might have fixed it but if anything it is losing pressure even more than before.

    • @MrWaheedulHaque
      @MrWaheedulHaque  3 года назад +1

      Topping up once a month isnt too bad but there probably is an issue there somewhere, you can try bleed your radiators to get rid of air in the line and see if that helps, for me mine used to drop pressure constantly like every few days which was concerning for me but magically it has not dropped again after bleeding my radiators which is very odd haha

    Hi there - I have a Ideal combi boiler that I would usually repressurise after bleeding a radiator. However, today I have attempted to do exactly this, but was met with silence. The water did not fill the boiler to increase the pressure. The sound of water shooting was there for less than half a second, but then nothing. What could this be? How could I fix it? It's almost as if the water filled the filling loop then got stuck. Could the valve going into the boiler be stuck shut? Is this easy to fix myself?

    • @MrWaheedulHaque
      @MrWaheedulHaque  2 года назад +1

      Don't think its something you can fix yourself i believe some part has given up on you, if i was to take a guess maybe the pressure vessel, i would ring the company and see what they say hopefully you still under warranty
