    Im so thankful for people who make videos about how to fix basic things around the house. My dad used to be really handy, but now he has altzeimers and can't even remember who I am, let alone how to repressurise a boiler. But when my real dad can't be there for me to help with stuff like this, there's always a RUclips dad.

    Andrew, please know that 4 years after you posted this video, I just found it and it has saved me with my boiler fault! I’m widowed and moved to small place alone. Your kindness in posting and your carefully explained tutorial has allowed me to fix water pressure myself and stopped me feeling so fearful.
    Thank you so very much 🙂🙏

    You just saved a single mum to an autistic child whom in the morning would have been distraught at the idea of no hot water for a shower. My boiler was showing the f1 and my control panel has been awaiting replacement by my landlord for over a year, so we can only have heating for 1 hr at a time. So having the pressure go and no hot water tonight I wondered if that repair would take as long as my panel box. Thanks sooooooooo much for sharing this with the world. My Knight in shining armour!!

    • @HomeglowLtd
      @HomeglowLtd  4 года назад +1

      @@jennifermccann7119 Sorry, only just seen this comment. Yes they can sometimes by stiff. Try taking off the little plastic levers (little screw in the middle of plastic valve) which will expose the brass stem it fits over. Then try using an adjustable spanner to turn it.

    Thanks so much for this video, it worked immediately! We are getting low water pressure about 3 times a week and our landlady will spend fortunes on these boiler engineers who keep coming out and deliberately spend an hour just doing this, probably to get money, and then proceed to blame myself and my boyfriend for the problem. At least we can now fix it ourselves, would be great if she actually investigated the real issue causing this though - hope it's not a leak! Thanks again 👍🏻
