      Einstein never actually said it. It’s from the book Sudden Death, a mystery novel by author Rita Mae Brown published in 1983.
      Why the quote is attributed to Einstein is a mystery. Probably whoever first quoted it wanted to sound clever.
      It’s not actually clever either, repeating the same thing and expecting different results is called practice, and it does actually work.
