The Saving the City ending changes based on who you sided with more. Since I sided more with the Survivors, Villedor was free, everyone was a community, the opposite to the PK ending.
Idk man I sided with the PK 4 times and sided with Survivors two times. Maybe it depends who you give the radio tower too because I gave it to the survivors.

Siding with a faction doesnt matter it all depends on one big major decision which is the VNC Tower and who controls it Frank (Survivors), Juan (Renegades) or Jack (PK)

I somehow ended up with Hakon on my side while walking out of the city at the ending. Saved Frank, Hakon, gave the radio tower to Frank and decided to save Lawan at the end.

Seeing Mia look at the city before she takes her last breath was so sad. She stayed conscious long enough to see the city still standing, at that moment she was at peace
i haven't seen anyone mention it yet but aiden's VA in this game is _phenomenonal._ I don't think I've ever heard someone so genuinely and heartbreakingly voice act as well as this guy (other than a personal fav w/ a spiderman game but i won't get into it). I mean I'm gushing about this but not even this comment describes just how shocked and out of my mind his voice makes me, especially at 11:45

I got the ending of saving Mia and Hakon saving Lawan just in time. At the end Lawan left with me the city while the city was runned by the nightrunners because I gave the NC tower to Frank and didn’t cooperate with Jack matt. I also chose for the colonel instead of jack matt
the reason why i chose frank is because jack matt is too sick to do anything

I got the ending where Lawan dies with the missiles because there is no Hakon to save her. So she sacrifices herself for the city and Mia dies couple of hours after Aiden saved her. Frank is dead so im not really sure who runs the bar. Spike comes to bar and asks some questions about Aiden. Finds out that Aiden left the city because he is now a threat to the city as he is "changing". Aiden turns back for the last glance to the city, smiles and keeps walking away from the city.
It really was a pleasure to play this game. Thank you Techland for this amazing experience!

I had bros over hoes ending . city got destoryed by missles , Lawan was leader of canteen, and at the last moment bartender speakds "pilgrim met somebody closer than Mia (reference to Lawan) and saved her by all cost". and then Hakon appears and we headed towards the ocean.

In the lawman gets bombed ending you can save lawan by saving halon earlier on in the story and you’ll see lawan walking with you at the end when you opt to let lawan sacrifice herself she doesn’t really die only if you save hakon though
I got the bad ending the first time, and the best ending the second.
Best ending:
Build a relationship with Lawan (go to the birthday party, don't invade her privacy...etc)
Give Frank the VNC tower (you can still side with Juan to unlock the Cathedral safe zone; lets him rebuild the nightrunners)
Don't let Hakon Die (you'll need him to help Lawan blow the missiles, while you get Mia out)
Stay with Frank (don't let him die; he'll come with the nightrunners to make the PKs stand down/arrest Jack Matt/lead Villedor)
Side with The General at The Dam
Save Mia when the time comes (Hakon will come by, and help Lawan blow the missiles then escape)
Everyone in Villedor is happy, and you leave with Lawan

Why didn't Hakon save Lawan in mine when he was still alive?
I sided with the PK from the beginning, killed hakon at the church and chose to save Lawan. The city was wiped out, Jack Matt died and in the end I was alone, Lawan hates me and i’m in awe of how i fucked up so bad

I got the ending where Lawan sacrifices herself for the city. Aiden spend the last 2 hours with his sister which was his main objective all along. He walks away alone which is best because he can't control the change. It was a good ending. Great game!
I wasn’t entirely sure if I wanted to play this game once it released. Just finished the game where Lawan unfortunately sacrifices herself. I must say, as much as I enjoyed the first game, I’m very glad I played the second game. It was honestly so amazing. Hopefully they make a third.

@vengeance1450 Dude. I bought the game two months ago, had it fully updated and played through it twice, basically completing it as much as I could each time. There were DOZENS of instances of the game crashing and a couple of aggravating quest-related bugs - like some quests just don't even spawn despite the fact that they should. I've had a less enraging experience playing SKYRIM. Hell, even the trophies are bugged. An example of that is Don Quixote (windwill trophy) which never unlocked on playthrough 1 but it did kn the 2nd despite me knowing i did ALL of the windmills. It is very annoying to play, but otherwise the game is very fun and it's very enjoyable cutting up innocent people
And how the hell can you say I'm constantly downing the game when you don't even know me or what I say about this game beyond one comment chain

Woah I got a completely different ending. The city survived but the survivors ruled over, but that's strange cuz when ever there was a faction building I gave it to the peacekeepers and never gave one to the survivors. Either way in the end the survivors had it all and the people were flourishing and happy, food and water were being distributed and me and lawan left the city

That’s the ending I got too! Everything seems to be rainbows and sunshine in villedor still so I’m excited to load up my save today and see what the city looks like after the ending!

it's about who you gave the vnc tower to. PKs use it for propaganda while Frank uses it to warn the survivors of the missiles, which allows more of them to survive the early attacks.

I decided to save Lawan and let the missles destroy the city lol. She doesn’t appear after that so I don’t know if she’s alive or not, I’m guessing she is, only Hakon shows at the end running with me to the ocean
I got the saving lawan ending, it’s so dumb. I only chose that ending because I didn’t want to destroy the laboratory but nothing happens, plus lawan lives if u have hakon so their is no point to that ending

@@o.ml4751 Don't let Hakkon die by Lawans hands (2 occurrences. first u save him from the arrow and then u defeat him but make Lawan spare him later on) You pick Survivors at least 3/4 of the time. like the bazaar. side with sophie and Frank. then choose to leave instead of save lawan since Hakkon saves lawan instead. Perfect ending
@@o.ml4751it's been a long time since you posted this comment but you need to give the NVC tower ton frank save Hakon everytime and save mia at the end Hakon is gonna save lawan, your gonna get mia out of x-13 and the city will be saved and free from the peacekeeper. If you wanna lawan to come with you you have to built a relationship with her like coming to the birthday etc....
I just choose to let her blow up the bombs but hekon saved her and the survivors ruled the city and the night runner's are the guardians. And I had minimal casualties because I had radio towers that warned them. Then me and lawan walked into the sunset. Also the Bazar is doing great because Sophie is the new leader. I'm satisfied with my ending 😄😄😄👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

In my ending i saved Mia and lawan went down with x-13 and I saved the city, and because I sided with the survivors (think it just depends on who you give the VNC tower to) all of the citizens are free In the city, Frank and I are celebrities and I believe I got a pretty good ending. I am confused yet amazingly satisfied! Haven’t loaded into the game yet after that ending I’m curious to see if I can still play on that save? At the end it just black screened after I saved Mia and x-13 blew up. Weird. Anyone else get that? Only characters that died in my game was Hakon after I chopped his head off, and lawan after she became a red human firework.

I gave VNC tower to Frank and chose to save Lawan from detonating the bombs. The city was destroyed. Aiden didn't save Mia. The bar was empty at the end. Jack Matte was dead. When Aiden left the city, Hakon joins him. I think the ending depends on a lot of different choices you make during the game. I'm not sure what choice i made that got Hakon to join Aiden at the end.
save mia ending was my most emotiaonal and dramatic moment ever and the last screen its a perfect sound:'good night,and good luck.'

I wonder why Dying Light 2 Scenario of ending is similar to the first one story at countryside! Of course the first one story and Mother theory was deep and psychological but there was not no need to repeat a successful story again generally with some new minor elements.

So glad I watched this before running through the game a second time to get the “save lawan part of the story”
I chose to save Lawan twice. Then I left the city by myself. Not a good ending, City was destroyed and I’m guessing the virus will eventually take over and kill Aiden. In the 5+ years of DLC content we get, I hope that we get to have Lawan at our side

If you oppose the PK’s entirely (Give comms to Frank and trust colonel instead of Jack) then keep Hakon alive and detonate the bombs, I think you get the ending where the city survives and Lawan goes with you when you leave the city

Well, it seems i did two wrong choices - killed Hakon and wanted to save Lawan. In the end, destroyed the city and everything i did didn´t matter at all.

Yeah. I had the same ending you got. And honestly, it’s gut wrenching. Just knowing a lot of people died because I was too stubborn and chose to save Lawan is just awful. I picked it because I thought I could save her and then maybe sacrifice myself or something. Idk. Everything I did meant nothing in the end.

They should have gave Waltz more screen time the twist was obvious when he stopped beating your ass once he recognized you just wish we got more scenes of him kinda like Haytham in Assassins Creed 3
i had a different one, Jack matt died but the peacekeepers didn't take control of Villedor it was the Survivors, and the last clip was Aiden and Lawan talking about their new life out of the city
Lawan's biggest weakness is that she doesn't think with her head but rather with her heart.

my brother had everybody die in his ending and his character lived - for me i helped the peacekeepers take the city and lawan died along with mia but my character survived
If you save Hakon and and stop lawan for killing him at of the game if you choose to save mai Hakon shows up and he goes to save lawan in your place

So basically I chose to save Lawan and since I let Hakon live he ran out the place with Mia and I leave with Hakon to the ocean but I'm still wondering wtf happened to my sister still??? Like I saw him run out with her, did I forget about her, or mabye she died behind the scenes? In my playthrough I saved both hakon and lawan but with my ending I left alone even though I read that if hakon saves lawan then you leave with lawan
When you try to save everyone you end up losing the people that are closest to you
You forgot the ultimate good ending in which if you've saved Hakon and let him live and then let Lawan detonate the bombs, in the end she goes with Aiden wherever he is going.
Just started playing the game and I’ve been trustful with Hakon, but i’ve been aiding the PK’s more (went to Aitor, instead of going after Sophie, gave the first water tower to the PK, and I didn’t let Hakon die the first time). Which ending am I headed towards?
the way he says "yes" at the start sounds funny, like if they didnt have that voice line during that and they just edited it in last second
I got a way different ending than that almost nobody dies I'm still in the city at the end floating around everybody live the package at the end wasn't for Jack Matthews it was for Frank

That’s the exact ending I got. And I’m still in the city. Only character that died was Hakon in my game cause he was bein a dick so i chopped his head off
Sweet baby Jesus... I wanted to do the best I could in this game but every choice I made based on my gut just made things worse - in the end everyone died on me (or were killed by me) except Lawan... whom I saved and destroyed the city in the process.

It does matter cause if you help the PK the most and you save the city they will rule the city but if you help the survivors the most and choose the save the city ending villedor will be free and the night runners will rule the city so yeah it does matter

I’m dumb. I replayed the story with saving lawan. I got to leave the city alone. But that feels like the true ending aiden leaving the city.
They really missed out as the PK in the Bazaar did not aline with the main faction and started to change and be more helpful to the survivors
I did everything right and still had to fight Hakon even when I said I didn’t want to fight him and Lawan never showed up

@@eli9tails389 I got it by saving Hakon when Lawan was going to kill him (destroying the hit list), giving the radio tower to Frank, going after the van when frank was attacked, siding with the butcher, and in the end choosing the choice to let lawan destroy the missiles.
if you chose to save hakon and then save mia, lawan lives and the end cutscene gets changed so that Lawan joins Aiden when he leaves the city

So I have a question or more of a theory I suppose Is that really Mia they don't really show her hands and if you remember at the beginning of the game Aiden says this is how we will find each other is their hands So what if that's not even really me but Walt's is actual daughter and he only used Aiden and Mia to try and find a cure for his own daughter and then brainwashed Aiden into thinking that she was his sister?

idk why the ending was so unclear, if i had known Lawan would be saved anyway, and that stopping lawan from blowing up the bombs wouldnt lead to the labratory being able to find a cure then i would have just picked the option to save the city, and i also didnt know that meant saving mia too
Lawan would only be saved if you let Hakon live, otherwise she would've died if you save mia
There's more ending based on if u saved hakon or if different factions took over the city
I picked the decision to let lawan detonate the explosive and before I could reach the cutscene after bring Mia with my game crashed and my data got all corrupted so now I have to do the entire story again
I never got this ending, I got the ending where I save Mia from the missile lab area or what it was and I went out of the city with Lawan.
I got the ending where I stop lawan and save her then the missles blow up the city. Hakon comes with me to leave the city in rubbles.
At first I got the true Canon ending and lost the progress due to my account being deleted and I got it back. Got the bad ending twice one was a regular run and the new game plus run
I killed hakon so idk what ending I’ll get if I save Lawan
weakest part of the story is; how crazy genius scientist waltz couldn't figure out to keep working only mia's life support equipment then started power sources for all city 😒 even while pilgrim Aiden could handle power boxes by connecting cables.
I mean, letting the choices and "good or bad" ending asides, you save the one you love or kill her for the greater good? try to imagine anyone in her place, your wife, your mother, anyone?
