Yes...the first time that opening scene...never ever they could make a character close to vaas. After blackflag, everything in ubisoft went downhill. I appreciate that they recognize what far cry 3 is, but i hate that they can't replicate the feeling of it and not just vaas, everything. The gameplay, the storytelling, the environment, the characters...i miss the times where games had a meaning and i wonder if it's because i got older and I've slowly see everything on replay or because they really can't pull off something that stands up to the level of a FC3...

Ubisoft is being held back by their board of directors to produce games that make profits and pay the bills, because using the FC3 formula is safe. They know it works and sells, why create something new? But in order to break away from the FC3 formula and bring out something truly unique again, Ubisoft needs to understand that they have to start taking risks again, just like they did with FC2 and FC3.

He's so eloquent in his description of the character and his interpersonal mechanics. Having familiarised myself with the story of the new DLC it is abundantly evident that real care and thought went into what makes Vaas tick, and why he is the way he is. And it's beautiful. Because amongst the rage, anger, and venom that surrounds his entire personality, is a man here to not only question the morality of mankind, but to embody it's worst aspects.
