@@BrailsfordsRides the car is just thhhhaaaat perfect of a drivers car..... as far as that goes I cannot think of one thing.... only two things that come to mind for the car period are 1) the stock tune only lets it start up in quiet mode and 2) some of the plastic bits on the interior.... other than that I can't say anything and thats the biggest reason I love it sooo much.... the proportions/stance are great, that driveline and exhaust are phenomenal and truly one of a kind, the recaro seats are amazing for a stock seat, visibility is great, brakes are complete overkill for the street but to me thats a awesome thing.....just thought of number 3) clutch pedal is alittle light..... steering has alot of great feed back....ill keep looking!

I enjoy your videos. That said 4 of the 5 things you hate about the Boss are nothing that is inherently wrong with the car. The whiny transmission is the only thing that wasn't a product of damage, or something not ordered when buying the car.
Oh for sure, this was purely a video centered around my personal vehicle, it is in no way saying every car will have these short comings. Secondly, thank you for the compliment, I try to make videos id like to go back and watch when I'm older and my kids have moved out 😆 well documented car history lol
@@BrailsfordsRides sounds like i great story, I think you guys would love Copenhagen. I try to go there once or twice per year, but I prefer the countryside and west-coast.
Soooo basically, there's really nothing wrong with your Boss!!🙄🙄😆😆😆....Much of your issues were self-inflicted!! If these are your Only issues, you're doing outstanding my friend!!
Things I hate (and I am fixing 'em) 1. The ride height. Jacked up in the rear. The rear gap between wheel and fender is huge. Solution: Ford Performance Lowering Springs. 2. The Stock Radio. Yes, I understand that the sound is awesome...It totally is with stock pipes and side baffles removed...BUT a Dynavin 9" screen that also integrates climate controls was a FANTASTIC solution. having Apple Car Play and mapping is essential for longer drives. 3. The weak ass headlights. The bulbs are NOT good. Replaced with LED brighter whiter light. 4. Weak ass turnsignal lights. Replaced with BRIGHT LED bulbs. 5. Amber and red sidemarkers. Solution: Smoked sidemarkers in LED. They look way better than OEM whether daylight or night. 6. NO Back-Up camera. Solution: Installed a VERY OEM looking camera between license plate lights. DID have to drill bumper...that sucked, but can't see it with camera and it works seamlessly with Dynavin. 7. Trunk/map/license plate bulb lights. Weak bulbs. NOT bright. Terrible. Solution: LED lighting. Brighter and whiter. Super easy and vast improvement over OEM. 8. Hold open rod for hood. Ford cheaped out big-time here. Solution: No drill hydraullic hood hold open. No issue now with rod blocking opening. 9. Understand the "simple is better" mantra of the Boss and the upper grill foglight delete distinguishes Boss from GT...But Boss needs more light at night and having foglights for daytime running lights is better than main lights running. Solution: Install CS lower grill running lights. look great and preserve "look" of Boss from front. 10. Notchy shifter when cold. Will upgrade clutch and install better shifter when I can take it no more :)

100% agree with S550s just not having that connected feeling. On the Recaro note, I think that should have been a standard option.
I agree I love the recaros, after I sat in one that had them id love to find a set to swap in

I love it!
How has the mt82 held up
Just survived it's first track day 😁
Can you put any aftermarket track apps on the 2012?
If you install a 13 boss cluster the right way yes. Stock no you cant
Only thing the 2012 has is launch control

Lots of stories behind everything except.the trans and seats 😆
