In some games you feel the love of Motorsport, in some games you feel some love of the tuning culture, in some games you feel no love at all. But in all Gran Turismo games you just feel the level of passion in every facet of the game, even if it isn’t perfect it’s absolutely the best imo.
Yeah GT7 and the Gran Turismo franchise is like no other. It’s so unique and special. The attention to detail is incredible. Add VR as well it’s above the competition. When sitting in the car it looks and feels even more realistic it’s crazy. ❤️🏁
The music replay and VR replay are also awesome! Your mileage for each car is tracked in each car you own. Tires flex when taking corners. A lot of cars gauge clusters have real world effects, like DRS, high/low beam indicators, turn signals, shift lights. The engine noise in cockpit gets louder when you do weight reduction mods because you are removing sound deadening materials. GT Sophy is an incredible AI driver system. If you own a Thrustmaster T-GT 1 or 2 you get realistic vibrations from the depth feedback system (T-DFB) from transmission shifts and road feel that vibrates throughout my sim rig adding to the immersion. I'm sure there is more I forgot about, but those are some more awesome things that make it above the rest. Edit: 120fps mode too! Although I mainly play in VR. My TV supports 120 and it is amazing and quality is still good. Also with Ray Tracing and performance modes when using 120 hz tv or monitor there are more video options Got long, 😆
As a car enthusiast I love playing GT7, the realism of the game is one of a kind, they even made a movie about the game which is crazy 🔥, definitely excited for the upcoming updates

Their no racing game that can match gt7 attention to detail, pd are just masters at it. The way cars are presented is incrediable, no other racing game makes me love cars more than gran turismo. Looking forward to next big update july 25
Don't forget Assetto Corsa EVO, because Assetto Corsa best racing games in PC and iRacing the best racing games with wheel setup near realistic feedback detail.
Good points, I wish they would listen to us about the PSVR2. Still no additional HUD info we’ve been asking for and missing a ton of features that makes you race at a disadvantage in VR. Please don’t abandon psvr 2 on GT7.
Great to see another creator speaking out against the click baiting hate mob. Really frustrating knowing GT7 is peak GT and you just get these mongoloid nostalgia tubers talking about the PS2, enough is enough already.
i love how they actually went out of their way to make a realistic panel gap depending on the car's production year and, ofc, price tag, instead of making everything perfectly shut.
they are top tier car game since gt1, the graphics for the time was like today, they are always a generation ahead, seems pasionate people and that's a gem in this enviroment, long life gran turismo
Only game that can be compared to is Assetto Corsa and only because modding community is very passionate and makes cars very detailed as well as other features. This basically PC version of GT7.
Gran Turismo has always been the game from people who love cars for people who love cars. I remember this from the first GTs on PS 1 and they've been carrying this through the years till these days. Huge respect to Yamauchi and Polyphony team
I agree with you, for the full 100%. Started it all with GT1 and have driven 60K+ Km on GT7, 'till today. Still love it to bits. Yes, there are better racesims, but overall, GT7 seems absolutely unbeatable.
To be honest, I really loved how GT7 puts a lot of effort in their attention to detail. Polyphony really cared about their game franchise since 1997. It’s super amazing to see how good they will do every month. Can’t wait for the next update in 2 weeks!
GT7 may not be a full driving simulation, but it's the series that gives the most love to the cars themselves. And that is a big part of it for me. I don't dedicate enough time to jump into iRacing and get good enough to win. I'm just happy as a casual to have a play when I get a free weekend, and to appreciate the beauty of my favourite vehicles and enjoy all of what motoring is all about - not just getting good at racing. Gran Turismo is the best for this in my opinion.
I used to be a forza player, the reason i chose xbox was because of forza Motorsport 1 ! Then I played every single Motorsport and horizon. Horizon 5 was a massive disappointment for me, then came alone Motorsport. Motorsport was single handedly the best advertisement for Sony snd gran turismo. I went out the same week and got a ps5 and Gt7 and the game blew me away ! I have never played a racing game so much. Only thing id like to see is better tuning, i think Motorsport does the tuning side better and allows to share tunes. Other than that GT7 ABSOLUTELY BLOWS MOTORSPORT OUT THE WATER.
Typical Assetto Corsa players: our sim is perfect!! Oh our model sucks? We steal models from GT and now we will brag again. When something isn't modded being bad, u should mod it. When something modded is bad, it's because it's modded. Our sim is just 2000percent perfect 😎
This is goat for experiences in vr. If anyone hasn't tried it in vr your mind will be blown its incredible. I find it difficult to go back flat lol only when on portal
The only thing they took from forza (and should have) is the ability to move the camera around the car in 3rd person. With the aesthetically appealing graphics and lighting (weather) changes, this takes enjoying the car that much more. Definitely was one of my favourite additions from any update and although it was present in other games (forza, nfs,..) in GT7 it makes you want to pull over and just take a moment.
Do yourself the favour and go and get a Playstation 4 or 5, even if it is just for GT7. It is a must have 3D encyclopedia of many of the greatest cars and tracks and will never bore you. Take it from a diehard petrolhead/(race)car enthousiast from Holland. 😉
@@GTfour01 as tempting as it is , considering it's Php 31,000 just for the PS5 alone , its easier said than done honestly. That and since I move around a lot between home and my university dormitory, I need something that I can take anywhere (like a laptop) and not need to hook up to a TV/Monitor. closest I can get is probably Gran Turismo 4 on PCSX2, which I've had sitting in my hard drive for a year now.

Yes, it has half-rate reflections. So if the game is running at 60fps, the reflections on your car are at 30fps to help performance. I believe I saw this info from Digital Foundry.
Its better then forza because if you drive at speed there you litterly lose half of the reflections because they couldnt find a way to link q maps to their other software wich litterly leaves gaps in reflections all over the place the faster you go
Forza raytracing is the best in any racing game by far the raytracing is amazing the more.you look the more youll notice unlike gt they didnt focus on one thing they focused on many other things like listen to how horibble a turbo charged ferrari f40 sounds in gt7 but it sounds like a turbocharged car in fm cant really try to take away from forza coz they did a great job with detail even the trees and stuff on the track look way better on forza @danielstokker
If BeamNG Drive was like this, it would be the best All-Around game for racing, drifting, modding cars, pretty much anything; then it would be number 1. Only thing it lacks is optimization, better graphics, better VR support, and needs more work over-all. But GT 7 is a beautiful game and is worth trying ;)
GT7 replays have no slow motion, whereas just about every racing game does. As a car collecting game, nothing beats GT7, but other games offer better racing and multiplayer options and grid sizes. PD do update the game a lot, but there is so much that could be added but they seem to ignore the GT7 community and what is being asked for to make the game even better. Standard GT7 AI is poor. Sophy AI helps improve this, but needs adding to all tracks. Bigger grids are needed in GT7. Better multiplayer lobby options. Better penalty system and track limit system. Races need DQ's and drive throughs for multiple infringements. A proper single player career mode would be good too.
One thing I wish was different in gt7 right now is the interior camera position. In gt sport you could sit further or closer lower or higher along with fov.
I absolutely love and adore what GT has done here. I only have one small gripe and it isn't enjoy to detect from the fun. But i with if you were to remove weight from the car the cockpit view would show a removed stereo and other items removed to make the car lighter. Other then that, yeah Gran Turismo is the king! I have thousands of related gt clips on my channel. Check some of them out if you get some free time! It would mean the world to me! Keep up the good work! Medic out!
I love GT7, I just wish the sense of speed was more apparent and that the engine sounds were more raw. Kind of like Project Cars 2. Also would be cool to see interior modifications like GT6 had reintroduced and expanded considering we have engine swaps that make some cars gauge clusters almost pointless plus from what I’ve seen driving in VR looks like a blast! Overall great game though :)
People forget that Gran Turismo bills itself as ‘The Real Driving Simulator’ - i.e. driving experience comes first; racing second. And it does it to absolute perfection! I can’t name any other driving or racing game that comes even close to what GT does! … Now if only the whinging fanbase of 100 divisions would understand that and stop complaining 24/7.
You know whats a hard core sim racer in my opinion? Need for speed shift. The sense of speed you get through the screen without the use of a VR us insane!

Gran Turismo INVENTED the replay! Yes there were replays before! BUT GT actually showed you what a replay should be! It helped the immersion that the models were modelled fantastically! As well as the camera placements! The lighting! the detail! sold you GT! Just the visual representation in GT! sells the game! GT1 sold everyone on the replays! Alongside MGS1 which also had life like realistic representation of a movie like experience! GT4 sold like hotcakes also because of the replays! Anyway people forget or dont know that Kaz and a few of the others are KEEN photographers and I think studied movies and filmaking! Hence the accuracy of the lighting! hence the understanding and appreciation and recreation of the lighting! Kaz has spoken about this intimately on several interviews and even the Kaz documentary! Just this kernel of passion has lead to this selling point being polished for every entry in GT! The graphics and the modelling and detail of the cars paired with the replays! and the lighting! The visual representation is just 1 of many selling points of GT that is unrivalled! People dont realise this!

You are right! I bought a PS5 just to play this game for a few weeks. But sadly racing online is more fun on Forza Motorsports and the Upgrading System is a tad better with more parts to change (I am not talking about cosmetics, there GT7 is much better). The Child of Forza Motorsports and GT7 would be a dream.
Man, I really wish we had Gran Turismo on PC and Xbox. You know, way back then, when I was playing Gran Turismo, I said I wished I could play Forza Motorsport. Now, it's the other way around because of how bad Forza has become. Ironic. Gran Turismo is not bad, but I liked the visual customization options and livery from Forza more. Gran Turismo has it, too now, which makes things so much better. Make no mistake, literally everything made in Japan is always so much better because they all seems to care immensely about their work and the details they provide in most of their games. They always been such great workers, and also because if I remember right, there's an employee record available which everyone can access and see who is good and who is bad. So you don't want a tinted spreadsheet when you are looking for work and all that.
Idk but I love the game. I’m not tech genius about graphics n all that but I love the game. My favorite car for big $ races has been the r34 n r33 swap

What GT7 lacks in details of physics simulation, more than makes it up with immersion and little details. It might not be the most realistic simulation ever, but it doesn't really need to be. It simulates just enough for the driving to be fun and still quite realistic, while adding little details that add up to the immersion of it all.

When Forza released I was totally on board Forza Motorsport. 1-4 my favorites. Horizon 1-3. Today I have to say with the modern Forza Motorsport and Horizion 5 just dropped the ball. Gran Turismo 7 and basically all Gran Turismo games are the only games where you just feel the love and appreciate the developers have for all types of cars and Motorsport.
In some games you feel the love of Motorsport, in some games you feel some love of the tuning culture, in some games you feel no love at all.
But in all Gran Turismo games you just feel the level of passion in every facet of the game, even if it isn’t perfect it’s absolutely the best imo.
One of the very few games left were you actually see and feel it
Yeah GT7 and the Gran Turismo franchise is like no other. It’s so unique and special. The attention to detail is incredible. Add VR as well it’s above the competition. When sitting in the car it looks and feels even more realistic it’s crazy. ❤️🏁

@@PLAYER-MOST-WANTED sorry sorry…
I don't know. Assetto Corsa Evo is looking like a promising competitor
Also with Ray Tracing and performance modes when using 120 hz tv or monitor there are more video options
Got long, 😆

You should include the detail of ABS visually working. They showed it in one of the trailers.
You should see how the suspension works in slow motion and then compare it to a sim like asetto corsa ... spoiler gt7 wins in a pretty big way
@@danielstokker seen it. Tho I'm not sure how much I can attribute that to physics or perfect replay recording.
ACC looks like it's using keyframe sampling and there isn't enough of it and it blends linearly so the movement will be very odd.
GT7 on the other hand? Magic. If it's keyframes there's more than enough, if it's actually recreating the simulation 1:1 to actual gameplay then it's magic. I'm not educated enough to know how Polyphony did it.

It's the best racing game currently available but it's biggest issue is it's availability. still no PC port????? cmon!!!!
Gran turismo 7 is as close to perfection as you can get to be honest, and the Vr is just a glimpse at what the future of sim driving/racing can be

They did not take but improvised it made it smooth

Yes, it has half-rate reflections. So if the game is running at 60fps, the reflections on your car are at 30fps to help performance. I believe I saw this info from Digital Foundry.
Its better then forza because if you drive at speed there you litterly lose half of the reflections because they couldnt find a way to link q maps to their other software wich litterly leaves gaps in reflections all over the place the faster you go

Conversely, GT7 lacks everything that BeamNG is built for, and if it had it, it would be the definitive racing game.
BeamNG Drive never was supposed to be a racing game/racing simulator, so yea.
Dang tbh dude that psvr2 footage is real af
It`s all about loving a cars
all isnt fully capped like this for a reason! gran turismo is just the best racing game.
Oh the next update has few surprise
Gran Turismo is a homage to and celebration of car culture.
PlayStation VR 2 made it a completely different game for me. Hands down best experience I've ever had in a video game.
One thing I wish was different in gt7 right now is the interior camera position. In gt sport you could sit further or closer lower or higher along with fov.
Best gt since 4. I'm in love with vr.
…
Now if only the whinging fanbase of 100 divisions would understand that and stop complaining 24/7.
DDE !!!😎
100% agree with you!!

The visual representation is just 1 of many selling points of GT that is unrivalled! People dont realise this!

I bought a PS5 just to play this game for a few weeks.
But sadly racing online is more fun on Forza Motorsports and the Upgrading System is a tad better with more parts to change (I am not talking about cosmetics, there GT7 is much better).

The new physics model is a much needed improvement. Everything about the game was great except the driving.
GT franchise has always been ahead of their time, this is not surprising at all.

What GT7 lacks in details of physics simulation, more than makes it up with immersion and little details.
It might not be the most realistic simulation ever, but it doesn't really need to be. It simulates just enough for the driving to be fun and still quite realistic, while adding little details that add up to the immersion of it all.
How does it lack in detail of physics simulation? Was it a part you have to steer around the apex?
and you can play with dualsense as gyroscope, or PSV2 game changer, on the other hand for some reason on forza games as horizon 5 they have issues with wheels (not any issue with gt7) and the default settings sucks, on gt7 default wheel settings are just perfect (maybe a little bit more of speed force but everything else perfect)
